The Diocesan Shrine of the Our Lady of Candelaria Parish Church, commonly known as the Silang Church, is a Roman Catholic parish church in the municipality of Silang, in the province of Cavite, Philippines under the Roman Catholic Diocese of Imus. Its titular is the Our Lady of Candelaria (also Our Lady of Candles). The church is known for its Spanish colonial architectural style and the rococo-influenced retablos. It is the oldest existing stone church in the province of Cavite having completed in 1639. The church and retablo of the Our Lady of Candelaria Parish was declared a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines on 3 February 2017.

Silang, officially the Municipality of Silang (Tagalog: Bayan ng Silang), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 295,644 people. Silang is located in the eastern section of Cavite. It is home to the Philippine National Police Academy, PDEA Academy, and International Institute of Rural Reconstruction head office. With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the municipality is now part of the Manila's conurbation which spans southward toward Lipa City.

The Philippine National Police Academy (Tagalog: Akademiyang Pampulisya ng Pilipinas) or PNPA, is a public safety school whose graduates are assigned as officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). PNPA was established on August 26, 1977, by the virtue of Section 19, PD 1184 and was tasked to provide tertiary level education to Filipinos aspiring to be officers in the three bureaus of the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

Far Eastern College – Silang, more known as FEU Cavite, is a private nonsectarian basic and higher education institution located in MetroGate Silang Estates, Silang, Cavite, a municipality 43 kilometres (27 mi) south of Manila, Philippines. Established in 2009, it is the first subsidiary of the Far Eastern University (FEU) outside of Metro Manila.In 2010, FEU Cavite opened its doors to Kindergarten, Basic Education (Elementary to High School) and Higher Education; while in June 2016, its Senior High School. The college offers a range of programs such as Accountancy, Business Management, Information Technology, Psychology, and Hospitality Management. It operates as an extension campus of FEU Manila.

Lucsuhin Natural Bridge, locally called Cabag Cave or Lucsuhin Cave, is a natural bridge located between Lucsuhin and Kalubkob in Silang, Cavite province in the Philippines. The bridge, which crosses the Ylang-Ylang River, is the first large natural bridge reported in the country.

The Sisters of Mary School (SMS) sometimes abbreviated as (SOM) is a Private Catholic school in the Philippines, located in Silang, Cavite and Metro Cebu. It consists of four campuses called Boystown and Girlstown located in different areas of Silang, Cavite and Metro Cebu The founder of SMS was the American diocesan priest Aloysius Schwartz.

By offering programs across health, education, environment and livelihood, its goal is to have rural communities take charge of their own success. The organization has delivered programs to more than 40 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America and directly impacted the lives of over 5 million people as of 2019.

The Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, (often shortened as Aguinaldo Highway), alternatively known as Cavite–Batangas Road and Cavite-Manila South Road, is a four-to-six lane, 41.4-kilometer (25.7 mi), network of primary and secondary highways passing through the busiest towns and cities of Cavite, Philippines. It is the busiest and most congested of the three major highways located in the province, the others are Governor's Drive and Antero Soriano Highway. The highway is named in the honor of General Emilio Aguinaldo, the country's first president and a native of Cavite. The northern terminus of the highway is located at the Zapote Bridge at the province's boundary with Las Piñas in Metro Manila. It then traverses Bacoor, Imus, Dasmariñas, Silang, and ends at Tagaytay in Cavite. The highway forms part of National Routes 62, 419, and 410 of the Philippine highway network. The highway has several official names, like Manila–Cavite South Road, Cavite–Batangas Road, and Tagaytay-Manila via Silang Road. The west alignment of the poblacion area of Silang, is unnumbered as a newer bypass named Silang Bypass Road (or Silang Diversion Road) and is designated as a tertiary road. The section that connects with Manila–Cavite Expressway (then Coastal Road), called the Aguinaldo Boulevard, is also designated as National Route 62 (N62) of the Philippine highway network.

Ayala Westgrove Heights is a residential development by Ayala Land located in Silang, Cavite, Philippines. Located adjacent to Santa Rosa, Laguna, it is approximately 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) from the Santa Rosa–Tagaytay Road. The gross land area is approximately 400 hectares (990 acres), with an estimated density of 10 lots per hectare. Ayala Westgrove Heights was founded by Ayala Land in 1998.Currently, there are two entrances to Ayala Westgrove Heights, via the South Entrance that can be accessed directly from Santa Rosa via South Boulevard and via Acacia Gate near the Laguna Technopark Annex in Biñan, Laguna.

San Jose Hospital & Trauma Center is located in the Philippine province of Cavite on Governor's Drive, which is the main highway between Cavite City and Tagaytay. The hospital, five stories high, is listed as a level 2 hospital by the Philippine Department of Health. It is one of two hospitals in the city of General Mariano Alvarez; the other hospital, GMA Medicare Hospital, has only ten beds as compared to San Jose's twenty-five beds.

Union Theological Seminary is the oldest Protestant seminary in the Philippines. It was Established in 1907 when the Ellinwood Bible Training School (founded by the Presbyterians in 1905) and the Florence B. Nicholson Bible Seminary (established by the Methodists in 1905) merged into one theological institution . The fusion of these two institutions was a significant event for The Comity Agreement, which intended to unify various mainline Protestant denominations established by American missionaries during American Colonial Era of the Philippines. Though the United Church of Christ in the Philippines and the United Methodist Church in the Philippines collectively support it, the seminary is independent of both in structure and curricular formation. Since its creation, the seminary has produced pastors and church workers who contributed substantially to Protestantism in the Philippines. Graduates of the seminary went to work for well-established local churches. Its alumni played a vital role in the creation of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines in 1948. Through the leadership and dedication to ecumenical ministries, individuals who came from UTS took part in the formation of the Association of Theological Education in Southeast Asia in 1957 and the National Council of Churches in the Philippines in 1963.
