Incident at Pristina Airport

The Prishtina International Airport Adem Jashari (Albanian: Aeroporti Ndërkombëtar i Prishtinës Adem Jashari), also referred to as Pristina International Airport (Albanian: Aeroporti Ndërkombëtar i Prishtinës, IATA: PRN, ICAO: BKPR), is an international airport in Pristina, Kosovo. The airport is located 15 km (9.3 mi) southwest of the capital city of Pristina. The airport has flights to numerous European destinations. The airport is the only international airport in Kosovo and thus also the only port of entry for air travelers to the country. It is named in honor Adem Jashari, the founder of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Gračanka (Serbian: Грачанка) or Graçanka (Albanian: Graçankë) (also known as Gračanica/Graçanicë, Грачаница) is a river in Kosovo. Its name is derived from Gradac, a toponym of fortified cities. It flows into the Sitnica near the settlement of Vragoli.

The Drenica (Albanian: Drenica; Serbian Cyrillic: Дреница) is a river in Kosovo, a 50 km (31 mi) long left tributary to the Sitnica river. It flows entirely within Kosovo and gives its name to the surrounding Drenica region.

Kosovo Polje railway station (Fushë Kosova railway station) is a station in the town of Kosovo Polje, Kosovo. It is the largest railway station in Kosovo and headquarters of Kosovo Railways. The station is situated in Pristina District, but the city of Pristina is served by Pristina railway station. In September 1999, after the Kosovo War, the Kosovo Train for Life arrived at Kosovo Polje station, carrying 400 tonnes of aid, having traveled all the away from the United Kingdom, through the Channel Tunnel, and via France, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Macedonia, hauled by a trio of British Rail Class 20 diesel locomotives.

Blinaja (Albanian: Blinajë), also known as the Blinaja Hunting Area of Special Importance (Albanian: Vendgjuetia me Rëndësi të Veçantë "Blinaja"), is a hunting area of special importance in Kosovo. It was initially established in 1955 and later re-established in February 2009 with a total area of 2,794 hectares (6,900 acres). The protection of this park falls under the responsibility of the Kosovo Forestry Agency.

The Bardhi i Madh coal mine is a coal mine in Obiliq in District of Pristina, Kosovo. The mine has coal reserves amounting to 5.92 billion tonnes of lignite, one of the largest lignite reserves in Europe. It produces 6.2 million tonnes of coal per year.

Lipovicë or Lipovica (Albanian: Lipovicë/Lipovica, Serbian Cyrillic: Липовица) is a village in Lipjan municipality. It is next to the Blinaja Park where people go hunting in Kosovo.

Graboc i Poshtëm (Albanian: also Graboci i Poshtëm, Serbian: Доњи Грабовац, romanized: Donji Grabovac) is a village in municipality Fushë Kosova, Kosovo.

Ugljare (Serbian Cyrillic: Угљаре) or Uglara (Albanian: Uglarë), is a village in the Gračanica municipality of Kosovo. Ugljare was part of the Kosovo Polje municipality before the Gračanica Municipality was created. It is a Serb enclave; it has a supermajority of ethnic Serbs. Ugljare is located about 5 kilometers from city center of Pristina and 12 kilometers from the Gračanica monastery. There is river passing through the Ugljare, Prištevka.
