Fredenburg House

Barringer Farmhouse is a historic structure located in Rhinebeck, New York, just west of US 9. Built c. 1830, the building is in a sparsely populated neighborhood and is accessed via an unpaved road north of Fox Hollow Road. The lot covers 15.2 acres (6.2 ha) of land, characterized by hills and open fields with lightly wooded areas. The building itself sits at the crest of a knoll overlooking two large ponds. The ponds were created by the Fallsburg Creek, which forms the eastern boundary of the property.It is a two-story building with features of the late Federal and early Greek Revival styles. Its interior displays a high level of architectural integrity. A barn and shed complex is located north of the main house. The one-and-a-half-story barn, a contributing aspect to the property, was built in the late nineteenth-century. The shed is attached to the southwest corner of the barn, and was built in the twentieth century. A contributing nineteenth-century corn crib lies east of the barn and shed.It is believed that John Barringer acquired the property in 1806. The Barringer family were early settlers of Rhinebeck. Based on its design features, the house is thought to have been erected around 1930. Whether it was built by John Barringer or another Barringer is unknown. It is considered a historically significant example of distinctive late Federal/early Greek Revival residential architecture in Rhinebeck. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 9, 1987.

It is a rectangular, two to three story stone dwelling with a hipped roof and built into a hillside. The five bay wide building features a hipped roof entrance porch supported by paired Doric order columns. Also on the property are a contributing barn, carriage house, two sheds, and a guest cottage.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

It was built about 1850 and is a 1+1⁄2-story, cruciform-plan building with board-and-batten siding and a cross-gable roof, built into a hillside and features a number of eclectic-Picturesque design elements. Also on the property is a contributing barn, carriage house, and well with well house.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Evergreen Lands is a historic home located at Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, New York. It was designed by architect John Russell Pope in the Tudor Revival style. It was built about 1932 and is a one to two story dwelling, asymmetrical, with a steeply pitched slate hipped roof. The first story is built of fieldstone, with stucco and half-timbering above. Also on the property are three contributing sheds and a stone wall. The house was built for Laura Delano, a cousin of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was originally intended for use as a caretaker's cottage for a larger house that was never built.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Rock Ledge is a historic estate and national historic district located at Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, New York. The district encompasses five contributing buildings and five contributing structures on an estate developed between about 1904 and 1906. The manor house is a three-story, Italian Renaissance style stone dwelling. It consists of a central section with three-story projecting pavilions and a two-story wing. It has multi-level, tile hipped roofs with overhanging eaves. Also on the property are the contributing stone barn, stone carriage house, a stone stable, guest cottage, three stone pump houses, a stone foot bridge, and a cistern. It was a private estate until 1945, after which it housed a vegetarian resort, and after 1961 a novitiate for the Marist Fathers and home to Rhinebeck Country School.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Benner House is located on Mill Street in the village of Rhinebeck, New York, United States, just off U.S. Route 9. It was built by a German immigrant, Johannes Benner, in the 1730s. It is the oldest house in the Village of Rhinebeck. It is a rare example of a one-room-plan stone house in the Hudson Valley built to German traditions, rather than Dutch. It is the sole house with that floor plan remaining in Rhinebeck. In 1987 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Astor Home for Children building, home to Astor Services for Children & Families, is located on Mill Street (US 9) in Rhinebeck, New York, United States. It is sponsored by Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of New York, and provides mental health services to children on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The institution began in 1904 as Holiday Farm in nearby Rhinecliff. In 1914, Vincent Astor hired the New York City architectural firm of McKim, Mead & White to design the present building for the facility, which bought the land and moved in. Catholic Charities took over ownership upon Astor's death three decades later. In the mid-20th century, major additions were made to the property, but enough of its original buildings remain for it to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

He chose a ruined historic house, whose stones were used in the post office, as its model, and spoke at its dedication. In 1989 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also a contributing property to the Rhinebeck Village Historic District.

Stonecrest is a historic home located at Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, New York. It was built about 1905, and is a two-story, stone and frame Shingle Style asymmetrical building. It features a gambrel roof pierced by variety of irregularly placed gables and dormers and a wraparound verandah. Also on the property is a contributing carriage house.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
