Obvodny Kanal (Saint Petersburg Metro)

Novo-kamenniy Bridge is a crossing of the Obvodny Canal in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. The bridge forms part of Ligovsky Avenue and connects Bezimyanni Island with the Tsentralny and Frunzensky districts of the city.

The Ligovsky People's House was built in 1901–1903 at the expense of Countess Sofia Panina. It is located at the junction of Tambovskaya and Prilukskaya streets. It was one of a number of People's Houses created across Imperial Russia aimed at providing facilities for making art and cultural appreciation available to the working classes. Similar projects also appeared across Europe. The building also contained a theatre.

Russian State Hydrometeorological University (RSHU) (Russian: Российский государственный гидрометеорологический университет) is a coeducational and public research university located in St. Petersburg, Russia. It was founded on July 23, 1930. For all the time RSHU have trained more than 20,000 professionals, with more than 3,000 for foreign countries. Current rector is acting Valeriy Mikheev due to the death of the previous rector Lev Karlin.

Pravda 10 is a landmark building of the notable area of Saint-Petersburg often referred to as Dostoevsky's St. Petersburg by locals. Over time it has served as a residence of merchants, a tenement house, and later on, in the Soviet Union period, the building was used as Railway Club and afterwards as the Union of Food Workers’ “Palace of Culture”. After many years of abandonment due to the fire which destroyed most part of the building, it went through major restoration of what was left of the construction, and renovation to open as the one and only hotel under the name of The State Hermitage Museum.

Vladimirsky Municipal Okrug (Russian: Влади́мирский муниципа́льный о́круг) is a municipal okrug in Tsentralny District, one of the eighty-one low-level municipal divisions of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 59,065, up from 57,213 recorded during the 2002 Census.

The Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov Memorial Museum-Apartment (Russian: Музей-квартира Н. А. Римского-Корсакова) is a branch of the St. Petersburg State Museum of Theatre and Music.

The F. M. Dostoyevsky Literary Memorial Museum (Государственный Литературно-мемориальный музей Ф. М. Достоевского), located on Kuznechny Lane 5/2 in Saint Petersburg, was opened on November 12, 1971 in the former apartment of the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky.Dostoyevsky lived in the apartment twice during his life: first for a short period in 1846 in the beginnings of his career, and later from October 1878 until his death in January 1881. The apartment was his home during the composition of some of his most notable works, including The Double: A Petersburg Poem (1846) and The Brothers Karamazov (1879-80). The apartment has been reconstructed based on the memoirs of his wife and his friends.

Our Lady of Vladimir Church (Russian: Владимирская церковь) is a Russian Orthodox church, dedicated to Our Lady of Vladimir and located at 20 Vladimirsky Prospect, St. Petersburg, Russia. The avenue takes its name from the church. The current five-domed church was built next to Vladimirsky Market between 1761 and 1769. The church's design, frequently ascribed to Pietro Antonio Trezzini, straddles the line between Baroque and Neoclassicism. The building has two stories, with the lower church dedicated to Saint John Damascene. The detached belfry is a fine work of mature Neoclassicism, built to Quarenghi's design in 1791. The portico, chapel, fence, and outbuildings were added in the 19th century. The interior of the church features an elaborate Baroque iconostasis, transferred from the Anichkov Palace chapel in 1808. When the 900th anniversary of the Christianisation of Russia was celebrated in 1888, the church underwent restoration. The most famous of its parishioners was Fyodor Dostoevsky. The church was closed in 1932, restored to the Russian Orthodox Church in 1989 and named a cathedral in 2000. It gives its name to the Vladimirsky Avenue and Vladimirskaya Square. The church is accessible by the station Vladimirskaya of Line 1 of the Saint Petersburg Metro and the station Dostoyevskaya of Line 4.

Dostoyevskaya (Russian: Достоéвская) is a station on the Line 4 of the Saint Petersburg Metro, opened on December 30, 1991. Walkways connect Dostoyevskaya with Vladimirskaya metro station of the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line.

The Russian State Arctic and Antarctic Museum (Russian: Российский государственный музей Арктики и Антарктики) is a museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. It was established in November 1930 as part of the Soviet Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, but was not opened until six years later.The museum is located in Avraam Melnikov's Neoclassical church from the 1820s and remains the largest museum dedicated to polar exploration in the world. The current director of the museum is Victor Boyarsky.
