New Lisbon is an unincorporated community located within Pemberton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is a settlement along Four Mile Road (County Route 646) where it intersects Mount Misery Road (CR 645). The community is located along the Philadelphia and Long Branch Railway, later a part of the Pennsylvania Railroad, and featured a train station.

Pemberton Township is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 26,903, a decrease of 1,009 (−3.6%) from the 2010 census count of 27,912, which in turn reflected a decline of 779 (−2.7%) from the 28,691 total in the 2000 census. The township, and all of Burlington County, is a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley.Pemberton was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 10, 1846, from portions of New Hanover Township, Northampton Township (now known as Mount Holly Township), and Southampton Township. Portions of the township were taken to form Woodland Township on March 7, 1866. The township is named for James Pemberton, a property owner in the area. The township is part of the South Jersey region of the state.

Browns Mills Junction is an unincorporated community located within Pemberton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The site, located about 1.6 miles (2.6 km) southwest of downtown Browns Mills, is located at the crossing of Junction Road (County Route 645) and the Philadelphia and Long Branch Railway, later a part of the Pennsylvania Railroad. It was the site of a train station named Browns Mills in-the-Pines where a short branch connected the main line to Browns Mills. The settlement features a few houses along Junction Road and Mount Misery Road (also a part of CR 645 west of Junction Road) but is otherwise very forested as a part of the New Jersey Pine Barrens.

The Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix (FCI Fort Dix) is a low-security United States federal prison for male offenders in New Jersey. It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. A satellite prison camp houses minimum-security male inmates. FCI Fort Dix is located in Burlington County on the ASA Fort Dix entity of Joint base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. It is approximately 40 miles (64 km) from Philadelphia. Fort Dix is the largest single federal prison in the United States in the number of inmates housed there.It is divided up into three compounds: The separate East and West Compounds (both low-level, each constituting a single prison in its own right) and a camp between the two.

Bisphams Mill Creek is a 5.9-mile-long (9.5 km) tributary of Greenwood Branch in the southern New Jersey Pine Barrens in the United States.

Ong's Hat (also Ong) is a ghost town in Pemberton Township, Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is located on Magnolia Road (County Route 644) west of the Four Mile Circle, where New Jersey Route 72 intersects with New Jersey Route 70. It is the northern terminus of the Batona Trail. Although it was never more than one hut ("Ong's Hut") it still appeared on some maps as of 2006. A road in the area is named Ong's Hat Road. It is also called the Buddtown-Ong's Hat Road. It was completed in 1929, replacing an earlier dirt path.

It is the only hospital in the Delaware Valley region that focuses exclusively on cardiac, vascular, and lung disease.Deborah Heart and Lung Center has 89 beds with a full-service ambulatory care center. In March 2010, Deborah Heart and Lung Center opened an emergency department operated by Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County. The emergency department offers ambulances and walk-in patients access to emergency care.

Pemberton Heights is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Pemberton Township, in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,423.

Pemberton Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district headquartered in Pemberton Township, New Jersey, United States, serving students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The district is one of 31 former Abbott districts statewide that were established pursuant to the decision by the New Jersey Supreme Court in Abbott v. Burke which are now referred to as "SDA Districts" based on the requirement for the state to cover all costs for school building and renovation projects in these districts under the supervision of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority. The school district serves Pemberton Township (including the communities of Browns Mills, Country Lake Estates, Pemberton Heights and Presidential Lakes Estates and the Pemberton Township portion of Fort Dix) along with Pemberton Borough.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprised of nine schools, had an enrollment of 4,443 students.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "B", the second lowest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

The United States Air Force Expeditionary Center is a United States Air Force training center located at Fort Dix, New Jersey which specializes in combat support and global mobility training and education'.

Area codes 609 and 640 are telephone overlay area codes in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) for the central and southern parts of the U.S. state of New Jersey. The numbering plan area includes the cities of Trenton, Princeton, Ewing, Hamilton, and southeastern parts of the state and the Jersey Shore, including Atlantic City and Long Beach Island. In terms of geographic coverage, it is the largest numbering plan area in New Jersey. Area code 609 was created in a split of area code 201 in c. 1956. Area code 640 is an additional area code for the area, created on September 17, 2018.

Mid-State Correctional Facility is a New Jersey Department of Corrections state prison for juvenile offenders, located in Wrightstown, New Jersey on the grounds of Fort Dix. The facility opened in 1982. In April 2014, the prison was "closed for renovation".Mid-State was scheduled to re-open in January 2017 as a specialized licensed drug treatment and detention center, with a capacity of 696. In April 2017, the facility re-opened. The facility now serves as a "treatment prison" for inmates, who can enroll in treatment programs that are state-certified.
