Notre Dame School of Manhattan is a private, Catholic secondary school for girls in New York City, New York, United States. It is located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York.

The New York Savings Bank is a historic bank building in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City. It was built in 1896 by Robert Henderson Robertson with George Provot, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 7, 2000. The facade and interior were designated a New York City Landmark on June 8, 1988.From 1992 until 2004, the building was a branch of Central Rug & Carpet Mart owned by the Longwill and Timianko family. In 2005 it became a Balducci's food market. By 2010 it had become a CVS drug store.

The Old Homestead Steakhouse is a steakhouse established in 1868 whose flagship location is in Manhattan, New York City. The restaurant is the oldest continuously operating steakhouse in the United States.

The New York County National Bank Building at 77–79 Eighth Avenue at West 14th Street in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City – also known as the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company Building – was built in 1906–07 and was designed by De Lemos & Cordes and Rudolphe L. Daus in the Neoclassical style. A seven-story addition to the south of the building at 75 Eighth Avenue was constructed in 1926. Renovations and a further addition in 1999 were by Lee Harris of the Hudson River Studios and John Reimnitz and mimic the original architecture.On June 7, 1988, the building was designated a New York City landmark by the New York City Landmark Preservation Commission. It was originally designated under the name "Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company Building".As of 2018, the building houses the Museum of Illusions.

14th Street was an express station on the demolished IRT Ninth Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had two levels. The lower level was built first and had two tracks and two side platforms. The upper level was built as part of the Dual Contracts and had one track and two side platforms over the lower level local tracks. It closed on June 11, 1940. The next southbound stop was Christopher Street for express and local trains. The next northbound local stop was 23rd Street. The next northbound express stop was 34th Street.

111 Eighth Avenue, also known as the Google Building, is a full-block Art Deco multi-use building located between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, and 15th and 16th Streets in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. At 2.9 million square feet (270,000 m2), it is the city's fourth largest building in terms of floor area as of 2014. It was the largest building until 1963, when the 3.14-million-square-foot (292,000 m2) MetLife Building opened. The World Trade Center, which opened in 1970–71, and 55 Water Street, which opened in 1972, were also larger, but the World Trade Center was destroyed in 2001. When the 3.5-million-square-foot (330,000 m2) One World Trade Center opened in 2014, 111 became the city's fourth largest building. The building, which has been owned by Google since 2010, is one of the largest technology-owned office buildings in the world. It is larger than Apple Park, Apple's 2.8 million square feet (260,000 m2) headquarters in Cupertino, California.

The 14th Street/Eighth Avenue station is an underground New York City Subway station complex shared by the IND Eighth Avenue Line and the BMT Canarsie Line. It is located at Eighth Avenue and 14th Street in Manhattan, and served by the A, E, and L trains at all times and the C train at all times except late nights. The whole complex is ADA-compliant, with the accessible station entrance at 14th Street. This complex was renovated at the beginning of the 21st century. There are several MTA New York City Transit Authority training facilities located in the mezzanine. The station complex contains an artwork by Tom Otterness called Life Underground, which features whimsical bronze sculptures, including a sewer alligator, scattered about the station.

Jackson Square Park is an urban park in the Greenwich Village Historic District in Manhattan, New York City, United States. The 0.227 acres (920 m2) park is bordered by 8th Avenue on the west, Horatio Street on the south, and Greenwich Avenue on the east. The park interrupts West 13th Street. Its triangular shape arose from the intersection of two Native American footpaths that grew into Greenwich Village streets. Later, the Commissioners' Plan of 1811 created a new street grid for Manhattan, which ultimately resulted in 8th Avenue being built through the intersection. The triangular area developed from an unimproved public rallying place, to a classic Victorian viewing garden, to a children's playground, and finally a contemporary mixed-use space.

The Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC Hotel or Hotel Gansevoort is a luxury hotel located at 18 Ninth Avenue between Little West 12th Street and 13th Street in the Meatpacking District neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The building, which was completed in 2004, was designed by Stephen B. Jacobs and has interiors by Andi Pepper. With the completion of a top-to-bottom renovation in 2021, the property has 187 rooms and 23 suites and features a rooftop pool and bar, among other amenities. The Gansevoort Hotel was the first urban resort to be developed in New York, as well as the first luxury hotel in the Meatpacking District. Gansevoort Hotel Group is a subsidiary of WSA Management Ltd., a real estate development and management firm whose principals are Michael Achenbaum.

2-10 Horatio Street is a 17-story co-operative apartment building located between Greenwich and Eighth Avenues, on the corner of Greenwich Avenue, across from Jackson Square Park in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, United States. Built in 1929-31 and designed by Robert T. Lyons, the building is located within the Greenwich Village Historic District, but is not, of itself, a landmarked building. The building also has the address 123-129 Greenwich Avenue.Between 1959 and 1963, an addition to the western end of the building, fronting on Horatio Street, added four apartments per floor, as well as air conditioning and new windows. This section of the building occupies what was the site of the Caledonian Club, at #8-10 from 1880 to 1897 after which it was occupied by a number of church-related organizations. Altogether, the building, along with the 17-story apartment building at 54 Eighth Avenue – also known as #14-18 Horatio Street – at the other end of the block, replaced six older low-level buildings.

The Real World: Back to New York is the tenth season of MTV's reality television series The Real World, which focuses on a group of diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras follow their lives and interpersonal relationships. It is the second season of The Real World to be filmed in the Mid-Atlantic States region of the United States, specifically in New York after The Real World: New York. The season featured seven people who lived in a four-floor loft at 632 Hudson Street in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City. As its title indicates, Back to New York is the first season to take place in a city that had hosted a previous season, as the show's first season was set in New York in 1992. The Back to New York season was filmed January 9 to June 2, 2001. It premiered July 3 of that year and consisted of 22 episodes. The cast appeared in a cover feature in the Fall 2001 issue of Time Out New York.
