The Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts is a college of the Georgia Institute of Technology, a public research university in Atlanta, Georgia. It is one of the six academic units at the university and named for former two-term Atlanta mayor Ivan Allen Jr., a Georgia Tech alumnus (Commerce, 1933) and advocate for the advancement of civil rights in America.

The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, at the Georgia Institute of Technology located in Atlanta, Georgia is the only professional school of international affairs at a major technological institution. Founded in 1990, the School was renamed the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs in 1996 in honor of former US Senator and Georgia Tech alumnus Sam Nunn.The School's programs focus on understanding the global context of advances in science and technology and on preparing students to address concerns at the nexus of science, technology, and international affairs. The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs is a member of The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA), an organization that works to advance international understanding, prosperity, peace and security through professional education in international affairs.

The Means Street Historic District in the Marietta Street Artery district of Atlanta consists of historic, mostly 19th and early 20th century warehouse and industrial buildings now converted to office space along one block of Means St. between Bankhead and Ponders Aves. Means Street was named for landowner Alexander Means and was plotted in 1869. Warehouses were built in this early industrial corridor, then known as Bellwood, along the railroad line. Mule-pulled trolleys brought workers starting in 1882, and these became electrified in 1894.Contributing properties include: Allied Factory Lofts, 500 Means Street, originally built in the late 19th century by the Standard Oil Company to be used as a barrel making shop. Now lofts. Atlanta Spring Bed Company - Block Candy Company, 512 Means Street. Originally constructed to house a furniture manufacturing company. Later used as warehouse space, candy manufacturing company, and a textile salvage company. Now office space. Atlanta Buggy Company and Ware-Hatcher Bros. Furniture Company /The Carriage Works, 530 & 544 Means Street. Includes the remaining portion of the 1907 Ware-Hatcher building which was used for furniture manufacturing, and which took over the 1903 Atlanta Buggy Company building, which was originally a buggy factory. Now office space. Standard Oil Company Inc. of Kentucky, 535 Means Street, now the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center

Hotel Roxy, formerly the H. B. Davis Building is a historic building in Atlanta, Georgia. It was built in 1921. The commercial building was renovated in 1995 and adapted into loft apartments and a retail/ restaurant space.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.The building is located at 764–772 Marietta Street. It is a red brick building with bricks laid in common bond with six stretcher courses.

The Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center (abbreviated CRC, formerly known as the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center and the Georgia Tech Student Athletic Center) is part of the Georgia Tech campus.

The Hemphill Avenue neighborhood was until the late 1960s a multi-racial working-class neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia roughly bounded by 10th Street, Hemphill Avenue, North Avenue and Marietta Street. It contained homes, churches (including Ponders Street Baptist) and schools including the State Street school and J. Allen Couch Elementary School. The Couch School, located at 840 McMillan Street, is now called the Couch Building and houses Georgia Tech's School of Music and Center for Music Technology, both included in the College of Design). A 1965 plan to expand Georgia Tech into the neighborhood signaled the beginning of the neighborhood's evacuation over the following years, in most cases by buying the homeowners out. Hemphill itself was a major city thoroughfare connecting Buckhead, the Atlantic Steel Mill, Techwood Homes and Downtown.

The Food Processing Technology Building is a Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia Tech Research Institute facility. It houses the Food Processing Technology Division of GTRI, which includes the Agricultural Technology Research Program (ATRP) and Georgia’s Traditional Industries Program for Food Processing. It opened on March 1, 2005, and was dedicated on May 19, 2005.

Burger Bowl is an athletic field on the West Campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology, at the intersection of Hemphill Avenue and Ferst Street. It is located behind the Fitten, Freeman, and Montag dorms. The bowl itself is split in two by a sidewalk creating the larger Burger Bowl, adjacent to the SAC fields, and the smaller Taco Bowl, adjacent to Hemphill Avenue. The Burger Bowl was known for its characteristic lack of grass, the prevailing contents of the soil being a mixture of dirt, rocks, and urban debris. The elevated lips that give the green space its bowl-shape lead to the flooding in the field, puddles from heavy rains sometimes leaving the field in a marshy state. In 2010, the bowl was renovated and leveled, and new sod was laid down. Since then, the Burger bowl has been a fertile , grass-filled landscape for students to gather, play and relax on.

The George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering is the oldest and second largest department in the College of Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The school offers degree programs in mechanical engineering and nuclear and radiological engineering that are accredited by ABET. In its 2019 ranking list, U.S. News & World Report placed the school ranks 2nd in undergraduate mechanical engineering, 5th in graduate mechanical engineering, and 9th in graduate nuclear and radiological engineering.The school took its present name in 1985, honoring George W. Woodruff (class of 1917), a major benefactor.The school is the only academic institution to be recognized as a Mechanical Engineering Heritage Site by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The Technique, also known as the "'Nique", is the official student newspaper of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, and has referred to itself as "the South's liveliest college newspaper" since 1945. As of the fall semester of 2011, the Technique has a weekly circulation of 10,000, distributed to numerous locations on the Georgia Tech campus and a handful of locations in the surrounding area. The first issue of the Technique was published on November 17, 1911, and the paper has printed continuously since its founding. The paper publishes weekly throughout the regular school year and primarily covers news, events and issues specific to the Georgia Tech community. In 2004 it was one of 25 collegiate newspapers to receive the Pacemaker award from the Associated Collegiate Press.

Antioch Baptist Church North is a Evangelical Baptist megachurch in Atlanta, Georgia. It is affiliated with the National Baptist Convention, USA.

The Ferst Center for the Arts, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is Georgia Tech's theater and arts center and is adjacent to DramaTech, the student-run theater. It contains a 950-seat auditorium that features a proscenium stage, orchestra pit, and theatrical lighting and sound systems.
