Dobrovlje pri Mozirju (pronounced [dɔˈbɾoːu̯ljɛ pɾi mɔˈziːɾju]) is a dispersed settlement in the Municipality of Mozirje in northern Slovenia. It lies in the hills above the right bank of the Savinja River south of Mozirje. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.

Žovnek Castle (Slovene: Žovnek, German: Sanneck) is a castle northeast of Braslovče, Slovenia. It lies above Lake Žovnek. The Lords of Žovnek, later Counts of Celje, were named after the castle. The castle was first mentioned in 1278 as Castrum Sevnekke, and later as Sannegg.

Podvrh (pronounced [pɔˈdʋəɾx]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Braslovče in northern Slovenia. It lies at the foothills of the Dobrovlje Hills and includes a number of small hamlets, including Zgornji Podvrh, Srednji Podvrh, Spodnji Podvrh, Šmartno, Vrtoglav, Plavc, and Žovnek. Žovnek is best known for Žovnek Castle, a now ruined castle dating to the 12th to 17th centuries, which was the original home of the Counts of Celje. Nazarje (pronounced [ˈnaːzaɾjɛ]) is a town at the confluence of the Savinja and Dreta rivers in northern Slovenia. It is the largest town and the centre of the Municipality of Nazarje. Traditionally it belongs to the region of Styria and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The settlement gets its name from the monastic church dedicated to Mary of Nazareth. Right next to it is the 17th-century Franciscan monastery. Close by is Vrbovec Castle, originally a 12th-century building with 16th-century adaptations. It was badly damaged by fire in the Second World War. It was restored between 1988 and 1992 by the local forestry association and now houses a forestry and woodworking museum.

The Dreta (pronounced [ˈdɾeːta]) is a river in Styria, northeastern Slovenia. The river is 29 km (18 mi) long. Its source is near the Črnivec Pass in the Kamnik Alps. It flows through the town of Gornji Grad, Bočna, and Šmartno ob Dreti, and merges with the Savinja River in Nazarje. The Dreta Valley (Slovene: Zadrečka dolina) is named after the river.

Čreta pri Kokarjah (pronounced [ˈtʃɾeːta pɾi ˈkoːkaɾjax]) is a dispersed settlement in the hills south of Nazarje in Slovenia. The area belongs to the traditional region of Styria and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.

Stopnik (pronounced [ˈstoːpnik]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Vransko in central Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The local church is dedicated to Saints Hermagoras and Fortunatus and belongs to the Parish of Vransko. It dates to the 15th century with some 17th- and 19th-century rebuilding. To the west of the settlement are also the ruins of Stopnik Castle, first mentioned in the 12th century and abandoned around 1800.
