Grbavica (Serbian Cyrillic: Грбавица) is a neighbourhood of the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today it is part of the municipality of Novo Sarajevo and administratively distinguished between Grbavica I and Grbavica II. The area was developed as a new residential neighbourhood by the authorities of Socialist Yugoslavia, on the west bank of the Miljacka river. Grbavica I, between Zagrebačka street and the Miljacka river, aside from residential buildings, hosts the Forestry Faculty of the University of Sarajevo (Šumarski Fakultet), the Kovačići Franciscan Monastery (Franjevački samostan), the Jordanian Mosque (Jordanska Džamija, 1996), three primary schools (OŠ Kovačići, OŠ Grbavica I and OŠ Grbavica II) and the Netherlands embassy. On its north-west corner, the new British Embassy Sarajevo has been built. Grbavica II, between Grbavica I and Hrasno, hosts the Grbavica Shopping Centre and the Ummu Arif Zabadne Mosque. South of Zagrebačka street are Grbavica Stadium, home of FK Željezničar, and the Catholic Church of St. Ignatius (Crkva Sv.Ignacija Lojolskog).

Franciscan Province of Bosna Srebrena (also Bosna Argentina; officially Latin: Provincia OFM Exaltationis S. Crucis - Bosna Argentina) is a province of the Franciscan order of the Catholic Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their headquarters are currently in Sarajevo.

Marijin Dvor or Marindvor (Cyrillic: Маријин Двор or Мариндвор; English: Mary's Palace) is a neighborhood in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The neighborhood is noted for buildings from the Austro-Hungarian Empire era.In the neighborhood are several significant buildings; National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Holiday Inn Sarajevo, UNITIC World Trade Towers, Sarajevo City Center, Greece–Bosnia and Herzegovina Friendship Building (old Parliament building pre-1992), Hastahana and others. The Holiday Inn Sarajevo was the home of foreign correspondents during the 1984 Winter Olympics and throughout the siege of Sarajevo during the Bosnian War. The UNITIC Twin Skyscrapers were built in the 1980s. They were colloquially named "Momo and Uzeir" after two characters from a radio comedy show, a Serb and a Bosniak. The towers were heavily damaged by shelling during the siege but remained standing, becoming symbols of resilience. They were renovated after the war.

The International Center for Children and Youth (Bosnian: Međunarodni centar za djecu i omladinu / Међународни центар за дјецу и омладину) is a cultural and arts center located in the Novo Sarajevo municipality, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was constructed in 1961 and was originally named the Vaso Pelagić Cultural Center after Vasa Pelagić, the 19th century Bosnian Serb writer, physician, educator, clergyman, nationalist and a proponent of utopian socialism. The center was heavily devastated during the Bosnian war and was subsequently renovated in 1997. In 2001 the center was expanded, rebranded and reestablished as the International Center for Children and Youth.

The ICAR Canned Beef Monument is a public outdoor sculpture in Sarajevo.

Grbavica Stadium (Bosnian: Stadion Grbavica) is located in Grbavica, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This football stadium has terraces close to the pitch and it is the home stadium of FK Željezničar Sarajevo and one of two stadiums of the national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The stadium has a capacity to hold 13,146 seated spectators, with more room for standing spectators under South stands (capacity up to 16,000). Grbavica Stadium is also known as Dolina ćupova (en. Valley of Jars).

Vilsonovo Šetalište (transl. Wilson's Promenade / Wilson's Lane) is a promenade in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is an important street for the city, however, in the afternoon hours and during weekend the traffic restriction is in force, and the promenade becomes a recreational area. The lane also bears a historical significance. It was conceived during the Austro-Hungarian era.Wilson's Promenade was named after the former president of the United States, Woodrow Wilson. There are 480 linden and chestnut trees. An important feature is the Miljacka river, which runs along the promenade. The lane is frequently visited not just by people living to its close proximity, but also by people from all over the city as well as tourists.

The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: Zemaljski muzej Bosne i Hercegovine / Земаљски музеј Босне и Херцеговине) is located in central Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established in 1888, having originally been conceived around 1850 and expanded in 1913 by the Czech architect Karel Pařík adding four symmetric pavilions that contain the departments of archaeology, ethnology, natural history, and a library. The museum is a cultural and scientific institution covering a wide range of areas including archaeology, art history, ethnology, geography, history and natural history. The Sarajevo Haggadah, an illuminated manuscript and the oldest Sephardic Jewish document in the world issued in Barcelona around 1350, containing the traditional Jewish Haggadah, is held at the museum. It has a library with 162,000 volumes.After being closed for several years due to heavy damage during the Bosnian War, the museum has re-opened and is in the process of mounting new and pre-existing exhibits. Having remained open for its entire history including during the Bosnian War in the early 1990s, the museum was closed between 2012 and 2015 due to disagreements about funding.

The Church of the Holy Transfiguration (Serbian: Црква Светог Преображења, romanized: Crkva Svetog Preobraženja) is a Serbian Orthodox church in Novo Sarajevo, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Originally planned for Split in Croatia, it was built in 1940 by Aleksandar Deroko and consecrated by Serbian Patriarch Gavrilo V. It was the place of worship for 50,000 adherents in the region. It is the only Orthodox church in Novo Sarajevo. During the Yugoslav Wars, the Church was heavily damaged, and after the war it was renovated. Reworking of frescoes began in 2004.

The Zgošća Column or Zgošćan Column, also Column from Zgošća (Serbo-Croatian: Zgošćanski uspravni stećak) is the only upright stećak tombstone from the medieval archaeological site of Crkvina Necropolis (Zgošća) in Donja Zgošća near Kakanj, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is a stećak (monumental medieval tombstone) discovered in a gorge of the Zgošća river, near Donja Zgošća village, not far from Kakanj in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the site called Crkvina Necropolis, with several other stećaks of which most important one is called Zgošća Stećak. It is one of the most representative examples of stećak found in terms of its size, artistic processing and ornamentation. Both column and gable stećak dates back to the 15th century. The both stećaks are relocated from its original location to a botanical garden in the atrium of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, where it is kept and displayed for public view.

It is one of the most representative examples of stećak found in terms of its size, artistic processing and ornamentation. Along the Zgošća Stećak researchers found a stećak in the form of a column, colloquially known as Zgošća Column. Both column and gable stećak dates back to the 15th century. The National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NUL) (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: Nacionalna i univerzitetska biblioteka Bosne i Hercegovine / Национална и универзитетска библиотека Босне и Херцеговине) is the national library of Bosnia and Herzegovina based in Sarajevo. During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the siege of Sarajevo, in the night from 25th to 26 August 1992, members of the Army of the Republika Srpska shelled Vijećnica where the library was located at that time. As a result, many of its archival and library holdings were destroyed.
