Frick's Tavern

The Nicholas Koester Building is an historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983. The building is a two-story brick structure that sits on the southeast corner of West Third and Fillmore Streets. It is part of a small commercial district near the historic German neighborhoods and the industrial areas along the Mississippi River. It is a typical commercial building in the West End which combines commercial space on the first floor and apartments on the second floor. Previous to opening his shop, Nicholas Koester lived down the street and worked as a tinsmith. In his store he sold stoves and tin ware. Koester also lived in the residential space above. The business on the first floor continues to carry the Koester name. The building was completed in 1890 and was designed in the Italianate style. It features a decorative cornice and rectangular windows on the second floor. There is an oriel window on the Fillmore Street side of the building.

The Robert Henne House is a historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. This Greek Revival style residence was built for Robert and Henrietta Henne in 1874. He operated the cigar stand in the post office. She continued the business after his death in 1885. The house followed a popular 19th-century style in Davenport that has some unique features. The gable-end oculus is located on the side of the house as opposed to the front. On the front are a pair of round-arch windows. The windows that face the front of the house feature keystone window heads that drop to small molded corner blocks and are flush to the brick. Molded panels are found on the porch frieze and on the soffits and reveals on the main entrance. The house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983.

The Hose Station No. 7 is located along a busy thoroughfare in a light industrial area of the west end of Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

St. Mary's Catholic Church was a parish of the Diocese of Davenport. The church building is located in the west end of Davenport, Iowa, United States, at the corner of Fillmore and W. 6th Streets. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Complex. The designation includes the church building and rectory on the west side of Fillmore Street, and the former parochial school building and convent on the east side. A former school building operated by the parish two blocks north on West Eighth Street is also on the National Register and is listed as St. Mary's Academy. The parish ceased operations in July 2020 when it was merged into St. Anthony's Church downtown. The parish campus is being acquired by the nonprofit organization Humility Homes & Services, which is operated by the Congregation of the Humility of Mary.

The Cottage at 1514 and 1516 West Second Street is a historic building located in a residential-light industrial area of the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. Philippe Oszuscik in his 1979 study of Davenport architecture identified this small cottage as one of the earliest house types in the city. It features a full size front porch that was taken from the Galerie of Mississippi Valley French tradition and a symmetrical, 5-bay main facade that reflects the Georgian and Greek Revival styles. The present porch, however, is not original to the house. The side gable, single-story frame house is built on a stone foundation and has an extension off of the back. The cottage was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The William V. Carr House is a historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was built by William Carr who served as Assistant Street Commissioner, laborer, police officer, and dyer. His house is a noteworthy example of residential architecture from the time of the American Civil War. The main façade of the house has numerous architectural features. There is a projecting front piece with a round-arch entrance and two round-arch windows on the second floor. The main entrance is flanked by side bays that feature two windows with segmental heads. Above the window pairs and above the porch are recessed panels. The ends of the frontispiece and the main block of the house itself feature rusticated quoins. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The F.J. Raible House is a historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. F.J. Raible, who worked for a cigar manufacturer, began living in this house in 1884. While this house follows the Greek Revival style, which was very popular in Davenport, the main entrance and the windows are set within a slightly recessed plane. The window hoods are the only other decorative element on the house. This residence has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983.

The house at 318–332 Marquette Street is a historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. The multiple-dwelling residential building was built by Lorenz Wahl who operated a grocery store. It has eight units, which housed mainly short term tenants over the years. The building is a 1½ story, side gable structure with small windows below the eaves. The units are symmetrically arraigned with a door on the front and two windows to the side. While rare today, it was a common housing option in the years before and after the American Civil War when poor immigrants and laborers were moving into the city and created a housing shortage. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983.

Hauschild's Hall is a historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The building was constructed around 1880 in the German section of the city. It is a three-story commercial building with a store front on the main level and four bays on the upper floors. The window openings in the upper floors feature brick segmental arches with keystones and brick sills. The building was constructed in brick, but has subsequently been covered with siding. The cornice level of the building also features decorative brickwork that has also been covered. The building served as the local headquarters of the German Knights of Labor. The local Chapter #2144 was organized in 1866 during a period of labor agitation and dissension within local labor groups.

Koch Drug Store is a historic building located in the central part of Davenport, Iowa, United States. It is a Victorian style commercial building that was built in 1881. The structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
