Finsbury Park is a London Buses station in Finsbury Park, located in the London Borough of Islington, London, England. The bus station is situated in next to Finsbury Park London Underground and National Rail station and is collectively known as Finsbury Park Interchange.

Finsbury Park is an intermodal interchange station in north London. It serves a number of National Rail, London Underground and bus services. The station is the third busiest Underground station outside Zone 1, with over 33 million passengers using the station in 2019.

The George Padmore Institute (GPI), founded in 1991 in Stroud Green Road, North London, by John La Rose (1927–2006) and a group of political and cultural activists connected to New Beacon Books, is an archive, library, educational resource and research centre that houses "materials relating to the black community of Caribbean, African and Asian descent in Britain and continental Europe". The Institute also hosts talks and readings, as well as other educational and cultural activities.

New Beacon Books is a British publishing house, bookshop, and international book service that specializes in Black British, Caribbean, African, African-American and Asian literature. Founded in 1966 by John La Rose and Sarah White, it was the first Caribbean publishing house in England. New Beacon Books is widely recognized as having played an important role in the Caribbean Artists Movement, and in Black British culture more generally. The associated George Padmore Institute (GPI) is located on the upper floors of the same building where the bookshop resides at 76 Stroud Green Road, Finsbury Park, London.

The 2017 Finsbury Park attack was a terror-attack in Finsbury Park, London, England, on 19 June 2017. A van was driven into pedestrians in Finsbury Park, London, by Darren Osborne, causing one death and injuring at least nine people. This occurred near the Muslim Welfare House, 100 yards (90 m) from Finsbury Park Mosque. A man who had earlier collapsed and was receiving first aid died at the scene. The incident was investigated by counter-terrorism police as a terrorist attack. On 23 June, Darren Osborne of Cardiff was charged with terrorism-related murder and attempted murder. In early February 2018 at Woolwich Crown Court, he was found guilty on both counts and was sentenced to life imprisonment.

The Sir George Robey was a mid-19th century public house and later a music venue on Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park, North London, England. It was named in honour of the music hall performer Sir George Robey (1869–1954) in 1968. The pub was a Meux's house, and was noted for a plaque advertising their Original London Stout, which remained on the building until its demise, long after the brewery's closure in 1921.During its time as a music venue, artists who performed at the Sir George Robey include Bad Manners, Billy Bragg, Carter USM, Desmond Dekker, Fairport Convention, Gong, Hawkwind, Bert Jansch, Roy Harper, Ralph McTell, They Might Be Giants, Fugazi and Tunnelmen. Blur's Damon Albarn recalled: That was right at the start of Blur. Graham [Coxon] and Alex [James] were still at Goldsmiths so we were just doing our first gigs. First on the bill at an indie all-dayer at the George Robey pub in Finsbury Park which meant we were on at eleven in the morning and just got pissed for the rest of the day, taking advantage of the beer coupons. Live albums recorded at the venue include Steve Marriott's Packet of Three's Live at the Sir George Robey 23-10-85. The pub also hosted punk and ska all-nighters, and 'Club Dog' acid-house nights.After being renamed The Powerhaus in March 1996, when it was taken over by the Mean Fiddler Music Group, and later named Robey, it closed in 2004.Despite being locally listed, the building was demolished in 2015, after a period standing derelict, during which it was occupied by squatters and had its interior fittings and floors removed. A Premier Inn hotel now occupies the site. The pub was directly opposite another, larger, music venue, the Rainbow Theatre.The fictitious venue The Harry Lauder in Nick Hornby's book Fever Pitch was based on The Sir George Robey. Near the end of Irvine Welsh's novel Trainspotting the characters Sick Boy and Begbie visit The Sir George Robey.

The Silver Bullet was an independent live music venue in Finsbury Park, London, regularly hosting live music and DJ acts until it closed in June 2016.

The Finsbury Park Mosque, also known as the North London Central Mosque, is a five-storey mosque located next to Finsbury Park station close to Arsenal Football Club's Emirates Stadium, in the London Borough of Islington. Finsbury Park Mosque is registered as a charity in England, serving the local community in Islington and the surrounding boroughs of North London.The mosque gained national attention when Abu Hamza al-Masri, a radical preacher, became its imam in 1997. In 2003, the mosque was closed by its trustees following an anti-terrorist police raid, and re-opened in 2005 under new leadership.

The Rainbow Theatre, originally known as the Finsbury Park Astoria, is a Grade II*-listed building in Finsbury Park, London. The theatre was built in 1930 as a cinema. It later became a music venue. Today, the building is used by the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, an Evangelical church.

The N4 Library is a public library in the London Borough of Islington, England. The library sits alongside the City and Islington College Centre for Lifelong Learning building, on Blackstock Road. Both were opened in January 2004.

Finsbury Park is an area towards the northern edge of Inner London, England, which grew up around an important railway interchange near the convergence of the Boroughs of Islington, Haringey and Hackney. Finsbury Park should not be confused with Finsbury, which is a district of Central London roughly three miles to the south, forming the south-eastern part of the London Borough of Islington.

The Andover Estate, in Holloway, North London, is a large Islington London Borough Council housing estate which is flanked by Hornsey Road (west), Seven Sisters Road (south), Durham Road (east) and Birnam Road (north). It falls into the N7 postcode district of London.
