Penang Chinese High School (PCGHS) (simplified Chinese: 槟城槟华国民型中学; traditional Chinese: 檳城檳華國民型中學; pinyin: Bīnchéng bīnhuá guómínxíng zhōngxué; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Pin-siâⁿ Pin-hôa Kok-bîn-hêng Tiong-o̍h; Malay: Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan China Pulau Pinang) is a secondary school in Penang, Malaysia. Often referred to as "Bīn huá" (Chinese: 檳華; pinyin: Bīn huá; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Pin-hôa) among the local Chinese community in Penang. The school provides continuous education, ranging from pre-primary or kindergarten to pre-university studies. PCGHS is now an academy that is widely known across the globe.

The Balathandayuthapani Temple, officially the Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Kovil, better known as the Waterfall Hill Temple or "Thaneer Malai" by locals, is a temple complex located in George Town, Penang. The main deity of this temple is Murugan. Visitors need to climb 513 stairs to reach the temple. It is the focal point of the Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia, after the Batu Caves. The hilltop temple, with its seven-storey 21.6m-tall gopuram (main tower), has been touted as the largest Lord Murugan temple outside India.

The City Park, also colloquially known as the Youth Park, is an urban park in the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located near the Penang Botanic Gardens, the City Park was opened in 1972 as a recreational area and a green lung for the city's residents.True to its name, the City Park contains various recreational amenities, such as playgrounds, a skating rink, swimming pools, a graffiti corner, reflexology paths and an outdoor auditorium, all of which are open to the public. The park is maintained by the Penang Island City Council.

Penang Adventist Hospital (Malay: Hospital Adventist, Chinese: 槟安医院) is a non-profit hospital in George Town within the Malaysian state of Penang. Established in 1924, the 200-bed medical institution is part of an international network of hospitals operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The hospital is well known in the community for its promotion of a healthy vegetarian diet and charity work to assist needy patients, particularly heart patients.It has links with other hospitals in the Adventist health network, mainly Loma Linda University Medical Center and AdventHealth Orlando in the United States. It owns Adventist College of Nursing and Health Sciences (ACNHS), a government-approved nursing school adjacent to the hospital.

The Penang Masonic Temple is an historic Masonic building located at 136 Jalan Utama (Western Road), corner of Jalan Brown (Brown Road), in the former city of George Town on Penang Island in the state of Penang, Malaysia. In 1924, The Royal Prince of Wales Lodge No. 1555, United Grand Lodge of England, and Lodge Scotia No. 1003, Grand Lodge of Scotland, each of which had its own meeting hall, agreed to build the Penang Masonic Temple at its current site to serve their own needs as well as those of other Masonic bodies in the area. A limited company was formed, with each lodge controlling half, to buy the property, construct the building and own and maintain it thereafter. The land was acquired in 1926 and the foundation was laid on 17 December 1927 Designed by architect Howard Leicester in the Art Deco style of architecture, the building was built by contractor Lee Ghee Sok. Today it is considered a heritage site and its white exterior is painted white with some of its Art Deco details are painted blue. It is still used by the founding lodges for their meetings and is also utilised by 7 other Masonic bodies of either English or Scottish jurisdiction, which pay rent for its use.

It was established by and closely associated with Penang Adventist Hospital and forms part of a network of Seventh-day Adventist owned institutions of higher education. The Penang Hill cable car is a gondola lift under construction in George Town, the capital city of the Malaysian state of Penang. The 2.73 km (1.70 mi) line will connect the Penang Botanic Gardens to the peak of Penang Hill and is intended to complement the existing Penang Hill Railway. The cable car line is projected to serve a capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour on each direction. Construction commenced in 2024 and is projected to be completed by 2026.

Church of the Immaculate Conception (Malay: Gereja Kandungan Suci, Tamil: அமலோற்பவ அன்னை தேவாலயம்) is a church and parish located in Pulau Tikus, George Town, Penang, Malaysia. The church was founded in 1811 and is the second oldest church in the diocese after Church of the Assumption.

Kampong Serani is a residential neighbourhood within the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located within the Pulau Tikus suburb, the neighbourhood lies 3.1 km (1.9 mi) west of the city centre. It is bounded by College Avenue to the west and Leandro's Lane to the east.The neighbourhood was formerly inhabited by ethnic Eurasians, who had moved into the area as early as the 19th century. However, most of the original Eurasian residents had since relocated to other areas in George Town, following the redevelopment of Kampong Serani into a modern neighbourhood in the late 1990s. Despite the urbanisation, the neighbourhood still retains some of its Eurasian characteristics and is home to the Penang Eurasian Association.

Kelawei Road is a major thoroughfare in the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. It is one of the main roads leading out of the city centre to the suburbs, stretching from the heart of George Town towards Pulau Tikus. This leafy road runs just behind Gurney Drive, passing by a number of well-known landmarks and shopping malls; the high-rises of Gurney Drive also line the northern side of Kelawei Road. As with Burmah Road, Kelawei Road passes through the suburb of Pulau Tikus, thus it has witnessed significant Eurasian, Thai and Burmese influences. A Eurasian community still resides along Kelawei Road to this day, forming the Penang Eurasian Association.
