Högaborg

Simhallsbadet is a swimming venue in Helsingborg. It hosts a 25 m swimming pool, another smaller pool and a sauna. The building was designed by the Swedish architect Mogens Mogensen and completed in 1941. Mogensen had presented the plans in 1936; it was built between 1939 and 1941. Simhallsbadet was built as part of a project to address sanitation problems in south Helsingborg. The building is built in brown Helsingborg brick. The entrance part is built in a functionalistic style, while the pool section has a vaulted copper roof and a glass facade facing the street Carl Krooks gata. The building was renovated in 2001.

Olympia, sometimes referred to as Olympiastadion (English: Olympic Stadium), is a football stadium in Helsingborg, Sweden. It was opened in 1898, but has been rebuilt in 1993, 1997 and 2014–2017, and has a capacity of 16,000 (14,000 seated and 2,000 standing). All stands can be converted into seaters, giving a capacity of around 15,000. It is the home ground of Superettan side Helsingborgs IF. On October 22, 2014 the Helsingborg City Council, who owns Olympia, unanimously voted to renovate and rebuild the stadium. The construction will start after the 2014 Allsvenskan season and will be finished in early to mid 2017. This will be the fourth updating of the arena since 1985. Before 1985 the arena was in a dreadful state with athletic running tracks, wooden stands, and a very poor lighting system. The name of this arena has no actual connection to the Olympic Games, but since the modern Olympic's started in 1896 and Olympia was opened two years later, it seems a possible thought that the name was influenced by the at the time renewed Olympic Games. The record for attendance is 26,154 and was set 14 May 1954, when Helsingborgs IF played Malmö FF. In 1958 the stadium hosted two FIFA World Cup matches, and seven matches in FIFA Women's World Cup 1995. At the Helsingborgs IF matches Hey Jude by The Beatles is played during halftime and when Helsingborgs IF win a game What a Beautiful Day by The Levellers is played.

Helsingborg (, US also , Swedish: [hɛlsɪŋˈbɔrj] , is a city and the seat of Helsingborg Municipality, Scania (Skåne), Sweden. It is the second-largest city in Scania (after Malmö) and ninth-largest in Sweden, with a population of 113,816 (2020). Helsingborg is the central urban area of northwestern Scania and Sweden's closest point to Denmark: the Danish city Helsingør is clearly visible about 4 km (2.5 mi) to the west on the other side of the Øresund. Historic Helsingborg, with its many old buildings, is a scenic coastal city. The buildings are a blend of old-style stone-built churches and a 600-year-old medieval fortress (Kärnan) in the city centre, and more modern commercial buildings. The streets vary from wide avenues to small alley-ways. Kullagatan, the main pedestrian shopping street in the city, was the first pedestrian shopping street in Sweden.

Helsingborg Municipality (Helsingborgs kommun) is a municipality in Scania County in Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Helsingborg, which is Sweden's eighth largest city. The municipality had a population of 147,734 on January 1, 2019, and the metro has about 320,000 inhabitants. Between 1912 and 1971 the name of the town was officially spelled Hälsingborg (rather like the region of Hälsingland but unlike neighbouring Danish Helsingør and the Finnish capital Helsingfors (Helsinki)). The spelling was changed back to the older version when the present municipality was created in 1971 through the amalgamation of the Town of Hälsingborg with four surrounding rural municipalities. Since the 1990s the municipality again styles itself Helsingborgs stad (Town of Helsingborg). This usage is only nominal and has no effect on the status of the municipality.

Idrottens Hus is an arena venue in Helsingborg, Sweden. The stadium was built in 1957.

The Elineberg Housing development (Swedish: Elinebergshusen) consists of six high-rise apartment buildings located in the residential area of Elineberg in Helsingborg, south-western Sweden. Completed in 1965, the 13 to 15 storey towers were designed by the Danish award-winning architect Jørn Utzon who, at the time, was working in Helsingborg with the Swedish architectural firm Arton in conjunction with architects Erik and Henry Andersson.

Helsingborg Arena is a multipurpose arena in Helsingborg, Sweden, run by and associated with the municipal companies Helsingborg Events and Idrottspark AB and Helsingborg Arena and Scen AB, respectively.

Helsingborg Central Station or 'Helsingborg C', also colloquially known as Knutpunkten is the primary railway station in Helsingborg. It is a transit hub for ferries, long-distance trains (SJ), Öresundståg, Pågatåg, city- and regional buses. It is one of Sweden's busiest transit hub facilities. The railway station is the eleventh largest in Sweden with 24,100 passengers per weekday (2016). This includes passengers on the ferry and bus services. In total, Knutpunkten is visited by approximately 45,000 people daily. The building is a large complex that also contains restaurants, pubs, shops and office space. Next to Knutpunkten is the contemporary Elite Hotel Marina Plaza with 197 rooms. As a railway station, it is one of the largest station buildings in Sweden and one of Sweden's eight stations with underground railway tracks in the Helsingborg Tunnel. There are two platforms underground (four tracks). There is also a platform above ground, which, however, is not in regular use but is used for parking trains. It will be opened for regular trains during 2024. The building also contains several administrative functions for the city of Helsingborg such as the City Building Administration, and since 2016 also an office hotel for business activities.

Ramlösa Station is a railway station in the Ramlösa district of Helsingborg in Sweden. The station was inaugurated in its current form in 1865 and mainly serves commuter trains Pågatågen. On the Hästhag Viaduct above, the station is connected to both city buses and regional buses. The station serves three Pågatågen lines as it connects the West Coast Line with trains towards Åstorp, Hässleholm and Teckomatorp, Eslöv. Öresundståg also call at the station though not all services. It is one of three passenger railway stations located in the city of Helsingborg, along with Helsingborg Central Station and Maria Station, of which it is the southernmost situated railway station of the city.

Dunker Culture House (Swedish: Dunkers kulturhus) is a museum and art centre located in Helsingborg, Sweden. It is the museum of Helsingborg cultural heritage and its theme is to trace history from the ice age to the modern day.The building was designed by Danish architect Kim Utzon and was named after entrepreneur and industrialist Henry Dunker (1870-1962). Funding for the building was provided by the Henry and Gerda Dunker's donation fund (Henry och Gerda Dunkers donationsfond). Henry Dunker who was a local businessman who owned and operated Helsingborg's largest employer, the polymer, rubber and plastics manufacturer Trelleborg. A year before Dunker died in 1962 he was chair of the board of his company Trelleborgs Gummifabriks AB. The business employed 24,000 people with 50 outlets internationally.Dunker Culture House was opened on the 27th April 2002 by Crown Princess Victoria. The total cost for the building, including its interiors, was 300 million kronor.

Filbornaskolan is a school located in the outskirts of Helsingborg in Sweden. The school hosts a number of programmes, with a focus on sports. Notable former alumni include Henrik Larsson.

Helsingborg City Theatre (Swedish: Helsingborgs stadsteater) is the city theatre of Helsingborg, Sweden. The present Helsingborg City Theatre was built in 1921, after the old Helsingborg Theatre (located at the same place, built in 1877) was demolished. The building was designed by the local architectural firm Arkitektfirman Arton. But even before that the location harboured a small theatre house dating back to 1821. Being a well-placed geographical link between Sweden and Denmark, Helsingborg has a proud and steady theatre tradition, particularly from European guest touring theatre companies.The theatre's productions became famous through the management of director Ingmar Bergman, who managed Helsingborg City Theatre in the years 1944–46. In 2010, Ingmar Bergman square was named after him to honour his contributions to the city's theater-culture. The theater underwent several major reorganizations during the 2000s and since 1 January 2015 has been part of the municipal company Helsingborg Arena & Scen AB.
