The Jacob Crouse Inn is a historic inn located at Guilderland in Albany County, New York. The original building was built about 1833 and is a rectangular structure with a gable roof. Around 1870 it was enlarged with the addition of a central gable wing and one story porch. It features a large square cupola at the intersection of the gable roofs.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Fine Arts and Flower Building, Altamont Fairground, also known as Exhibition Hall, was built in 1896 as part of the Altamont Fairgrounds in Village of Altamont, New York, near Albany. The building is the only part of the fairground that remains largely in its original configuration. It is a large one story cruciform building with a large open interior, representative of the architecture typical of agricultural fairgrounds in the late 19th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004, having been in continuous use at the fairgrounds since 1896.

Hayes House is a historic home on Fairview Avenue in Altamont in Albany County, New York. It was built in 1910 and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, square frame dwelling on a stone foundation. The front facade features an enclosed porch on the first floor and balconies on the second and third. Miles Hayes (1856-1925) commissioned plans for this classical revival house in 1912. The house was built by carpenter Earl W. Teter for a miller named Miles Hayes (1856-1925) and was preceded on the property by a less impressive house. Hayes had the earlier house moved to another location on his property. The new house's side porch faced his grain mill, and allowed him to oversee operations at the mill. From 1970 to 2003 it was owned by the Altamont Fair, to be maintained as a museum. It is again privately owned. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Altamont is a village located in the town of Guilderland in Albany County, New York, United States. The village is in the western part of the town. The population was 1,675 at the 2020 census. The name means "high mountain."

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.It is a contributing property in the Altamont Historic District, an 11-acre (4.5 ha) historic district in Guilderland, New York. The station has been the headquarters of the Altamont Free Library since August 2012.

[[ ]] McNiven Farm Complex is a historic home and barn complex located at Guilderland in Albany County, New York. The original house was built about 1790 and is a small Dutch house that is located to the rear of the present structure. A substantial addition was completed in the mid-19th century. It is a two-story, five bay wide farmhouse with a center entrance and gable roof. Also on the property is a vernacular barn complex.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Lainhart Farm Complex and Dutch Barn is a historic farm complex and Dutch barn located at Altamont in Albany County, New York. The farm was originally leased from the Dutch settler Stephen Van Rensselaer by Michael Leonhardt who emigrated from Pfaltz, Germany. Michael Leonhardt signed a deed with Van Rennselaer granting Michael "inheritable rights" to the property, which would pass on to his offspring. The cost of the lease was five shillings and a yearly rent of 22 skepples of winter wheat, four "fat fowls," and one day of providing transportation for the Van Rensselaers—with carriage and horses—on the second day of January of each year. Michael Leonhardt was killed by a falling tree in March 1796 leaving behind three sons and seven daughters and his wife Maria. The tombstone listing Michael's cause of death can be found in the Lainhart cemetery on the property. The farm has remained in the possession of the Lainhart family ever since. The complex includes the farmhouse (ca. 1851), smoke house (ca. 1851), wagon house (ca. 1851), horse barn, (ca. 1851), Dutch barn (ca. 1819), and family burial ground (ca. 1796). The farmhouse is a two-story, timber framed, gabled "L", Greek Revival style dwelling.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Aumic House in Guilderland, New York was built in 1887. It is a massive, composite styled building with hipped roof and gables and dormers. It includes Shingle Style and Colonial Revival elements. The house is built partway up a hill, the Helderberg Escarpment, and has a "commanding view of Altamont and the area east".It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The listing included two contributing buildings on a 16.4-acre (6.6 ha) area.
