Some hotel room suites had bathrooms; there were also single rooms served by a bathroom on each floor. It was "completely modern" in 1906, having both steam heat and electric lights, whoopee!The building is 49 feet (15 m) tall; the first/second/third floors are 14 feet (4.3 m), 10 feet (3.0 m), and 10.5 feet (3.2 m) tall, respectively.It was built as a luxury hotel for Orange J. Salisbury, a mining engineer and businessman who obtained patents and started the United Filter Corporation.

Moss United States Courthouse (originally known as the United States Post Office and Courthouse) is a historic United States federal courthouse and federal building in Salt Lake City, Utah. The courthouse is located in Salt Lake's Exchange Place Historic District. It is the oldest building among eight buildings (all constructed between 1903 and 1917) that make up that district. The building reflect Utah's growing prosperity at the beginning of the twentieth century.Until 2014, the courthouse housed most operations of the United States District Court for the District of Utah. The court eventually outgrew the courthouse, and a new, modern-style $186 million courthouse, the U.S. Courthouse for the District of Utah, was built adjacent to the Moss Courthouse. Most court operations moved to the new courthouse, which opened in 2014. However, the United States bankruptcy court for Utah remains at the Moss Courthouse. Other federal agencies (which had been housed in leased space) were also relocated to the Moss Courthouse.

Hatch United States Courthouse in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States is a federal courthouse located at 351 South West Temple Street in downtown Salt Lake City, on the corner of 400 South and West Temple. It is located behind the Frank E. Moss United States Courthouse. The building houses the United States District Court for the District of Utah. It opened in April 2014.The courthouse was designed by Thomas Phifer of the Thomas Phifer & Partners architectural firm in New York. While the courthouse has been named after US senator Orrin G. Hatch, locals have nicknamed it the "Borg Cube" after the Borg, the villainous alien race in Star Trek. The building's nickname was a reference to its cubical profile (the Borgs of Star Trek used cubical spaceships) and "austere aesthetic."

Chesebro included a theater accessed from the Main Street exposure. The building features a glazed terracotta facade associated with the Second Renaissance Revival style.Virtue (Butcher) Clift (March 20, 1837-October 23, 1925) constructed the Clift Building in honor of her late husband, Francis D. Clift (December 7, 1832-December 21, 1913). The Clifts owned real estate in Salt Lake City, and they had operated a residential hotel, the Clift House, at the future site of the Clift Building.Francis D. Clift was an 1851 pioneer, opening a mercantile business on Main Street and later investing in the Emma Silver Mine.

The Peery Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a 3-story Prairie style building that incorporates Classical Revival design elements. The hotel was designed by Charles B. Onderdonk and Irving Goodfellow and constructed in 1910 in what is now the city's Warehouse District. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.The Peery Hotel was constructed at a time of rapid growth in Salt Lake City, and its location was close to the new commercial center, including what is now the Exchange Place Historic District. The Denver and Rio Grande Depot and the Salt Lake City Union Pacific Depot were constructed about the same time as the Peery Hotel. The hotel was financed by members of the David Harold Peery family with funds from the Peery Estate. David Henry Peery, heir and oldest son of Harold Peery, had planned a smaller hotel for the site in 1907, but construction stopped prior to his death later that year. New hotel plans were drawn in 1909, and the Peery Hotel opened in 1910 under the direction of Peery's mother, Elizabeth Peery.Harry K. Miles leased the hotel in 1925, and in 1947 he purchased the property and named it the Miles Hotel.
