Polonezköy

Polonezköy Nature Park (Turkish: Polonezköy Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park in the village of Polonezköy in Istanbul, Turkey. Polonezköy is situated in the Beykoz district of Istanbul Province. The area was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Environment and Forests in 1994. It covers an area of about 3,004 ha (7,420 acres). It is the province's first, and in terms of area, largest, nature park. The protected area is named after the village of Polonezköy, which was settled in 1842 by a small group of Polish emigrants, after the failed November Uprising. The settlement was initially named "Adamköy" or "Adampol" (literally Adamville) in honor of Adam Jerzy Czartoryski, and was renamed later to "Polonez Karyesi". In 1923, it was changed to its current official name.The nature park offers many outdoor recreational activities such as picnicking, camping, trekking and orienteering. There is a 5 km (3.1 mi)-long hiking, cycling, and jogging course, as well as observation towers. There are also a number of restaurants. Lodging is available in a number of boarding houses and hotels in the village.

Örnekköy (also called Tepetarla), is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Beykoz, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 4,148 (2022).Örnekköy is situated in the forests in the Anatolian (Asian) part of Istanbul. It is about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) east of the city of Beykoz.

Çekmeköy is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 152 km2, and its population is 296,066 (2022). It is on the Asian side of Istanbul. In 2008 the district Çekmeköy was created from part of the district Ümraniye, including the former municipalities Çekmeköy, Taşdelen, Alemdağ and Ömerli. The urban part of the new district, 17 neighbourhoods, was established as a municipality. At the 2013 Turkish local government reorganisation, the rural part of the district was integrated into the municipality, the villages becoming neighbourhoods. Its first mayor, Ahmet Poyraz, was elected in the 2009 Turkish local elections from (AKP).

Çekmeköy is an underground station on the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro in Çekmeköy. The station is located on Şile Highway in the Mehmet Akif neighborhood of Çekmeköy. Connection to IETT city buses is available at street level. The M5 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M5 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. Çekmeköy station was opened on 21 October 2018.The station has 2 exits. There are 6 elevators and 12 escalators.

Parseller is an underground station on the M8 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located on Kesikkaya Street in the Parseller neighbourhood of Ümraniye. It was opened on 6 January 2023, and is the northern terminus of the line.North of the station is the Metro Istanbul Behiç Erkin Campus, which was built to be the common operation and warehouse center of the M5, M8 and M12 lines, and the depots of the M5 and M8 lines.

Necip Fazıl is an underground station on the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro in Ümraniye. The station is located on Alemdağ Street in the Necip Fazıl neighborhood of Ümraniye. Connection to IETT city buses is available at street level. The M5 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M5 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. Necip Fazıl station was opened on 21 October 2018.The station has 3 exits. There are 4 elevators and 12 escalators. Connection to Metrogarden Shopping Center can be provided from the station.

Sarıgazi is an underground station on the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Eski Ankara Street at Nazım Hikmet Park in the Inönü neighbourhood of Sancaktepe. It was opened on 16 March 2024 with the M5 line extension from Çekmeköy to Samandıra Merkez.There is an entrance at Ankara Street at the station (Entrance 1). Entrance 2 will be located in the form of a pedestrian tunnel on Atatürk Street near the Sancaktepe District Governorship building and is currently in the planning stage. There are 6 elevators ('lifts' on station signage) and 10 escalators in the station.Since it has a station structure integrated with the M5 station, some of the platforms of the M13 line are being built within the scope of M5 construction.

Meclis is an underground station on the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Gelincik Street in the Meclis neighbourhood of Sancaktepe. It was opened on 16 March 2024 with the M5 line extension from Çekmeköy to Samandıra Merkez.

Huzur is an underground station on the M8 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located on Eski Üsküdar Yolu Street in the Adem Yavuz neighbourhood of Ümraniye. It was opened on 6 January 2023.

Dudullu is an underground station on the M5 and M8 lines of the Istanbul Metro in Ümraniye. The station is located on Alemdağ Street in the Yukarı Dudullu neighborhood of Ümraniye. Connection to IETT city buses is available at street level. The M5 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M5 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. The platform of the M8 line is under the platform of the M5 line. The M5 portion of the station was opened on 21 October 2018, with the M8 portion opening on 6 January 2023.
