Necip Fazıl is an underground station on the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro in Ümraniye. The station is located on Alemdağ Street in the Necip Fazıl neighborhood of Ümraniye. Connection to IETT city buses is available at street level. The M5 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M5 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. Necip Fazıl station was opened on 21 October 2018.The station has 3 exits. There are 4 elevators and 12 escalators. Connection to Metrogarden Shopping Center can be provided from the station.

Meclis is an underground station on the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Gelincik Street in the Meclis neighbourhood of Sancaktepe. It was opened on 16 March 2024 with the M5 line extension from Çekmeköy to Samandıra Merkez.

Sarıgazi is an underground station on the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Eski Ankara Street at Nazım Hikmet Park in the Inönü neighbourhood of Sancaktepe. It was opened on 16 March 2024 with the M5 line extension from Çekmeköy to Samandıra Merkez.There is an entrance at Ankara Street at the station (Entrance 1). Entrance 2 will be located in the form of a pedestrian tunnel on Atatürk Street near the Sancaktepe District Governorship building and is currently in the planning stage. There are 6 elevators ('lifts' on station signage) and 10 escalators in the station.Since it has a station structure integrated with the M5 station, some of the platforms of the M13 line are being built within the scope of M5 construction.

It was opened in end May 2020.

In 2008 the district Çekmeköy was created from part of the district Ümraniye, including the former municipalities Çekmeköy, Taşdelen, Alemdağ and Ömerli. The urban part of the new district, 17 neighbourhoods, was established as a municipality. At the 2013 Turkish local government reorganisation, the rural part of the district was integrated into the municipality, the villages becoming neighbourhoods. Its first mayor, Ahmet Poyraz, was elected in the 2009 Turkish local elections from (AKP).

Dudullu Spor Women's Football (Turkish: Dudullu Spor Kadın Futbol Takımı) is a women's football team based at Yukarı Dudullu neighborhood of Ümraniye district in Istanbul Province, Turkey playing in the Turkish Women's First Football League. It was formed in 2014 as part of the 1985-established Dudullu Football Club. The club's current chairman is Ali Yazlı. The team was promoted from the Women's Second League after the 2019–20 season. to the First League, which was renamed in the 2021–22 season to Super League

MODOKO—KEYAP is an underground station on the M8 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located at the intersection of Necip Fazıl Boulevard and Nato Yolu Street in the Esenşehir neighbourhood of Ümraniye. It was opened on 6 January 2023.

Dudullu is an underground station on the M5 and M8 lines of the Istanbul Metro in Ümraniye. The station is located on Alemdağ Street in the Yukarı Dudullu neighborhood of Ümraniye. Connection to IETT city buses is available at street level. The M5 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M5 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. The platform of the M8 line is under the platform of the M5 line. The M5 portion of the station was opened on 21 October 2018, with the M8 portion opening on 6 January 2023.

Sancaktepe Şehir Hastanesi is an underground station on the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Osmangazi Street in the Sarıgazi neighbourhood of Sancaktepe. Due to difficulties in station construction, it is expected to open later than the rest of the Çekmeköy to Samandıra Merkez extension.There is an open-close scissor structure in the station, and there will be a fully mechanical automatic parking lot with a capacity of 336 vehicles on the upper floors of this truss structure. In this way, it will be possible to travel with the Park-and-Ride system.

Samandıra Army Air Base, (Turkish: Samandıra Kara Hava Üssü) (ICAO: LTBX) is a military airport of the Turkish Army located in Kartal district of Istanbul, Turkey. The air base is home to 4th Army Aviation Regiment of the Turkish First Army. The facility is situated within the Gen. İsmail Hakkı Tunaboylu Barracks just north of the Anatolian Motorway O-4. Two helicopter squadrons are stationed at the army air base, each operating ten UH-1H Iroquois and ten UH-60A Black Hawk. In addition, eight UH-1H and three Cessna T182TSkylane are available for use to the HQ of the regiment.
