Catholic University School of Engineering

Caldwell Hall is a male dormitory for 42 upper-class students and one of 10 housing options for students at the Catholic University of America. Cardinal James Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore, and President Grover Cleveland dedicated the building on May 24, 1888. It was named for Mary Gwendolyn Caldwell. Sealed in the cornerstone is the original letter dated April 10, 1887 from Pope Leo XIII approving the University's founding. The building contains a chapel, paid for by Caldwell's sister, Mary Elizabeth, and a wing of the building known as "the House," which is inhabited by student ministers.

The School of Canon Law is the only faculty of Catholic canon law in the United States. It is one of the twelve schools at The Catholic University of America, located in Washington, D.C. and one of the three ecclesiastical schools at the university, together with the School of Theology and Religious Studies and the School of Philosophy. The school is part of the main campus in the Brookland neighborhood in Northeast D.C. and is housed in Caldwell Hall. It offers the Licentiate of Canon Law and the Doctor of Canon Law ecclesiastical degrees, as well as civil and joint ecclesiastical-civil degree programs.

The Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art is the school of arts with the School of Music, Department of Drama, and Department of Art of The Catholic University of America, located in Washington D.C. The school is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.

The Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies (IPR) is an interdisciplinary institute and center of The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

Flather Hall is a dormitory and one of 10 housing options for students at the Catholic University of America. Named for Mary Flather, it was constructed in 1962 and renovated in 2008. On the first floor is a priest in residence and a chapel. It has solar panels on the roof, making it part of the largest solar energy system in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Flather is used primarily to house freshmen men.

Fort Slemmer sometimes called Battery Slemmer was one of seven temporary earthwork forts part of the Civil War Defenses of Washington, D.C., during the Civil War built in the Northeast quadrant of the city at the beginning of the Civil War by the Union Army to protect the city from the Confederate Army. From west to east, the forts were as follow: Fort Slocum, Fort Totten, Fort Slemmer, Fort Bunker Hill, Fort Saratoga, Fort Thayer and Fort Lincoln. Unlike other forts, today very little remains of the structure.

Opus Hall is a dormitory and one of 10 housing options for students at The Catholic University of America. It opened in 2009 and houses 395 upperclassmen. Opus is the only dormitory building on campus that houses both male and female students; male students reside in the South wing, and females reside in the North wing. The seven-story, 127,000 square-foot building has 79 suites, each of which has one double and three single bedrooms, a common living room, double sink, bathroom, and shower. Each floor has a full-service kitchen and common area, and the first floor lounge includes a fireplace, central laundry room, and a study area. Outside the building is a 2,100-square-foot elevated terrace. The building is LEED-certified with a “collegiate Gothic” architectural design.

Millennium North is a dormitory and one of 10 housing options for students at The Catholic University of America. Built in 2001, it offers suite- and apartment-style options. With Millennium South, it houses 350 upperclassmen.

The Columbus School of Law, also known as Catholic Law or CUA Law, is the law school of The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. More than 400 Juris Doctor students attend Catholic Law. Incoming classes are typically composed of about 150 students, including day and evening programs. Around 1,500 students apply annually. According to Catholic Law's 2021 ABA-required disclosures, 59% of 2021 graduates obtained full-time, long-term employment requiring bar passage nine months after graduation.

The Law and Technology Institute or LTI, formerly Institute for Communications Law Studies, is one of the institutes for specialized study within the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C. The Law and Technology Institutespecifically focuses on the areas telecommunications, technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property and media law and policy.

Millennium South is a dormitory and one of 10 housing options for students at The Catholic University of America. Built in 2001, it offers suite- and apartment-style options. With Millennium North, it houses 350 upperclassmen.

The Our Mother of Africa Chapel is a shrine housed in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. It was built in the 1990s after a fundraising appeal sponsored by the National Black Catholic Congress, and was dedicated in 1997.It features a large bronze statue of Our Mother of Africa, a Madonna and Child figure styled with Sub-Saharan African features, designed by Ed Dwight. Other sculptures flank the chapel and represent various aspects of African-American culture and history.
