The Church On The Way

Sherman Way is a planned light rail station in the Los Angeles County Metro Rail system. The station is part of the East San Fernando Light Rail Project and planned to open in 2028. It is located on Van Nuys Boulevard at the intersection with Sherman Way in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Charter High of the Arts Multimedia and Performing (or CHAMPS) is a public high school that operates in the Phoenix office building. The campus is located at 6842 Van Nuys Boulevard, in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California, United States. It is operated as a Charter High School.Dr. Norman Isaacs began CHAMPS high school in 2005. Before becoming the founder of CHAMPS, Dr. Isaacs worked as the principal of Robert A. Millikan Middle School Performing Arts Magnet in Sherman Oaks. CHAMPS was founded in order to create a high school where students could receive a curriculum in academics, digital media, visual, and performing arts. Many of the teachers come from performing and media arts backgrounds, these have included Dr. John Biroc, Scott Bailey, Leah Bass-Baylis, Vince Campi, Brad Koepenick, Donovan Glover, Joe Conway, Marshall Goldman, Nancy Aldrich, Otis and Kyme Sallid, and Frank Becker.The school specializes in performing and digital media arts. It is one of two arts high schools that allow students to study there from any district within the Los Angeles County (the other being the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts). Students who want to enroll in a specific academy (dance, music, drama, media arts, or robotics) need an audition to get in. Each academy has a separate audition process. Enrolled students can change into a different academy with the approval of the department chairs and counselors. CHAMPS has been a high school since September 2005. The school now consists of 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. The first graduating classes (2009–2011) have moved on to universities throughout the country including NYU, UCLA, USC, UC Berkeley, Brown, Columbia, Stanford, and Duke University.

It is located on Van Nuys Boulevard at the intersection with Vanowen Street in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles. The station is a split design, with the northbound platform on the north side of the intersection and the southbound platform the opposite.

Van Nuys station is an Amtrak and Metrolink train station in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The station is served by eleven weekday round trips on the Metrolink Ventura County Line, five daily round trips of the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, and one daily round trip of the Amtrak Coast Starlight. The station when opened the first time in 1982 was called Panorama City, and was served by the short-lived CalTrain service in 1982–83. In 1988, service was restored with the Amtrak San Diegan with the station renamed as Van Nuys, and Metrolink service began in 1992.

St. Elisabeth of Hungary Church and School, originally known as St. Elizabeth Church and School, is a Catholic church and elementary school located in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California. The church and school are named in honor of Elizabeth of Hungary. Founded in 1919, it is the oldest Roman Catholic parish in the central San Fernando Valley. The current church building was dedicated in 1950. The church gained some notoriety as part of the sexual abuse scandal in the Catholic archdiocese of Los Angeles after Father Michael Baker was reassigned to the parish from 1987 to 1991. Since 2015, the church has been led by its tenth pastor, Rogationist priest Father Vito DiMarzio.

Van Nuys High School (VNHS) is a public high school in the Van Nuys district of Los Angeles, belonging to the Los Angeles Unified School District: District 2. The school is home to a Residential Program and three Magnet Programs—Math/Science, Performing Arts, and Medical. Panorama Senior High School is a public high school located on Van Nuys Boulevard in the Panorama City district of Los Angeles, California, United States. Designed by architect DLR Group WWCOT, Panorama High School opened in 2006 to students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. The school is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school serves the Panorama City, Arleta and Van Nuys sections of Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley. Panorama High School's mascot is a python and the school colors are gold and black.

Van Nuys station is a station on the G Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system. It is named after adjacent Van Nuys Boulevard, which travels north-south and crosses the east-west busway route and is located in the Van Nuys district of Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley. Adjacent to the station is the G Line's bicycle path. The platform features a painting by Roxene Rockwell called The New Town, which shows an example of the wheat and sugar beet fields that marked the area before it was developed.
