Cookstown Junction railway station served the townland of Drumsough outside Randalstown in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It was a single island platform at the junction of the Cookstown extension to Magherafelt, Cookstown, Draperstown and Macfin.

Kellswater railway station served the hamlet of Kellswater in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

St Olcan's High School (Irish: Ardscoil Naomh Olcán) was a Roman Catholic secondary school in Randalstown, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The school opened in 1958 within the North Eastern Education and Library Board area. It was one of two schools which were combined in 2006 to become St Benedict's College. The proposal to amalgamate St Malachy's High School, Antrim and St Olcan's was approved by Angela Smith, the Education Minister for Northern Ireland in March 2006. The combined school was renamed as St Benedict's College. St Malachy's was demolished and a rebuilding programme began on the St Olcan's site around the same time to accommodate new playing courts for tennis, basketball, and soccer, along with new portacabins for additional classrooms.

The Kells Water is a small river in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It flows through Moorfields and Kells and is a tributary to the River Main. The river rises above Glenwherry. It is a continuation of the Glenwhirry River and eventually joins the Main, which in turn flows into Lough Neagh. The hamlet of Kellswater is nearby. An old stone bridge crosses the Kells Water, separating Kells from the adjacent village of Connor.

St Benedict's College is a secondary school in Randalstown, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is an 11-16 Catholic, all ability, co-educational college which mainly serves families from the parishes of Randalstown and Antrim.

Randalstown (Irish: Baile Raghnaill) is a townland and small town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, between Antrim and Toome. It has a very prominent disused railway viaduct and lies beside Lough Neagh and the Shane's Castle estate. The town is bypassed by the M22 motorway with junctions at both the eastern and western ends of the town. It had a population of 5,151 people in the 2021 Census.

The Ramble Inn attack was a mass shooting at a rural pub on 2 July 1976 near Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is believed to have been carried out by the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF), a loyalist paramilitary organisation. Six civilians were killed in the attack—five Protestants and one Catholic—and three others were wounded.

Shane's Castle is a ruined castle near Antrim in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, which was mostly destroyed in 1816 by fire. The castle is situated on the north-east shores of Lough Neagh, 2.7 miles from Randalstown. Built in 1345 by a member of the Clandeboy O'Neill dynasty, it was originally known as Edenduffcarrick, meaning "brow of black rock" (from the Irish éadán dúcharraige). It owes its present name to Shane McBrian McPhelim O'Neill, who ruled Lower Clandeboy between 1595 and 1617.

Randalstown was a borough constituency which elected two MPs representing Randalstown, County Antrim, to the Irish House of Commons, the house of representatives of the Kingdom of Ireland. It was disenfranchised by the Acts of Union 1800.
