Ngũ Hành Sơn is a district (quận) of Da Nang in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. The district is divided into four wards (phường): Mỹ An Khuê Mỹ Hòa Hải Hòa QuýAs of 2003, the district had a population of 50,105. The district covers an area of 37 km². The district capital lies at Khuê Mỹ ward.

Tuyên Sơn Bridge (Vietnamese: cầu Tuyên Sơn) is a bridge spanning the Han River in the city of Da Nang, Vietnam.

The Da Nang University of Economics (Vietnamese: Trường Đại học Kinh tế, Đại học Đà Nẵng), or UDN University of Economics, is a university located in Da Nang, Vietnam. It was formerly known as Da Nang University of Economics and Business Administration (Vietnamese: Trường Đại học Kinh tế Đà Nẵng) The university is a member of regional university system — University of Da Nang. Beginning as the Faculty of Economics of Da Nang Polytechnic University, a public university established in 1976, the university became its own institution in 1994, when a number of major educational institutions in Da Nang were reorganized. It is the largest university of economics in central Vietnam and the first to be established. The campus is at 71 Ngu Hanh Son Street, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang.

Marble Mountains (Vietnamese: Ngũ Hành Sơn, Chữ Hán: 五行山; lit. "five elements mountains") is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngũ Hành Sơn District, south of Da Nang city in Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thủy (water), Mộc (wood), Hỏa (fire) and Thổ (earth). All of the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels, and it is possible to climb to the summit of Mount Thủy. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains, making this a tourist destination. The area is known for stone sculpture making and stone-cutting crafts. Direct rock extraction from the mountains was banned recently. Materials are now being transported from quarries in Quảng Nam Province. Marble Mountains was officially given the National Special Relic certificate by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on January 20, 2019.

The Nguyễn Văn Trỗi–Trần Thị Lý Bridge (Vietnamese: Cầu Nguyễn Văn Trỗi–Trần Thị Lý) is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Hàn River connects Hai Chau district, Son Tra district, Ngu Hanh Son district in the city of Đà Nẵng, Vietnam. The new bridge replaces two older bridges named after Nguyễn Văn Trỗi and Trần Thị Lý.This is a cable-stayed bridge with a total length is 731 metres, total height is 145 metres.

Đông Á University (Vietnamese: Đại học Đông Á) is a private and multidisciplinary university located in Da Nang, Vietnam. Originally founded as the Private Professional High School of Industrial Arts in January 2002, it became Đông Á University in May 2009. Its main campus is at 33 Xô Viết Nghệ Tĩnh; a second campus is located in Hoà Hải ward, Ngũ Hành Sơn District, a third campus was recently opened in Đắk Lắk province and additional campuses are under preparation in Quảng Nam province.

The Zone 5 Military Museum (Bao Tang Khu 5) is a military museum located at 3 Duy Tân, Da Nang, Vietnam. It covers all Vietnamese resistance to foreign occupation from the Chinese occupation, the First Indochina War with the French, the Vietnam War and the current standoff with China over the Spratly Islands and the Paracel Islands. The Museum's opening hours are from 07:30 to 10:30 and from 13:30 to 16:30 daily except Monday. Admission is free for Vietnamese and VND 60,000 for non-Vietnamese, plus VND 10,000 to take photos.

The Dragon Bridge (Vietnamese: Cầu Rồng) is a bridge over the River Hàn at Da Nang, Vietnam. Construction of the bridge began on 19 July 2009 (the same day as the inauguration of the nearby Thuận Phước Bridge) when the former Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung and many high-ranking government officials attended the groundbreaking ceremony.Dragon Bridge is 666m long, 37.5m wide and has six lanes for traffic. It opened to traffic on March 29, 2013, at a cost of nearly VND 1.5 trillion dong (US$88m). The bridge was designed by the US-based Ammann & Whitney Consulting Engineers with Louis Berger Group. Construction was undertaken by Company No. 508, an affiliate of Civil Construction Engineering Corporation No.5, and Bridge Company No. 75. The main span was completed on October 26, 2012. The bridge was opened to traffic on March 29, 2013, the 38th anniversary of the capture of Da Nang City by North Vietnamese forces (known as the Liberation of Da Nang in Vietnam) during the Vietnam War (known as the American War in Vietnam).This modern bridge crosses the Han River at the Le Dinh Duong/Bach Dang traffic circle, providing the shortest road link from the Da Nang International Airport to other main roads in Da Nang city, and a more direct route to My Khe Beach and Non Nuoc Beach on the eastern edge of the city. The bridge was designed and built in the shape of a dragon and to breathe fire and water each Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at 9 pm.

The siege of Tourane (September 1858–March 1860) was a Vietnamese victory during the Cochinchina Campaign, a punitive campaign against the Vietnamese launched by France and Spain in 1858. A joint Franco-Spanish expedition under the command of Admiral Charles Rigault de Genouilly captured Tourane (modern Da Nang) in September 1858, but was then besieged in the city by the Vietnamese and forced eventually to evacuate it in March 1860.

Đà Nẵng Port (Vietnamese: Cảng Đà Nẵng) is a major port system located in Central Vietnam at the mouth of the Han River on the East Viet Nam Sea, in the city of Đà Nẵng. It is the third largest port system in Vietnam (after Saigon Port in Hồ Chí Minh City and the port of Hải Phòng). Đà Nẵng Port lies at one end of the East–West Economic Corridor, an economic corridor connecting Vietnam with Laos, Thailand, and Burma. Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) is the port's authority.In 2008, Đà Nẵng Port handled 2.7 million tons of cargo, of which 1.2 million tons were exports, 525,900 tons were imports, and 985,600 tons were domestic cargo. Over 29,600 passengers passed through the port in 2008, a significant increase over previous years. Despite the fact that the port's infrastructure is not specifically designed to accommodate cruise ships, the number of large cruise ships docking at Đà Nẵng Port has increased in recent years. In the first two months of 2010 alone, 12 cruise ships docked in Đà Nẵng, carrying 6,477 passengers.

The Cầu Đỏ River (Vietnamese: sông Cầu Đỏ) or Cẩm Lệ River (Vietnamese: sông Cẩm Lệ) is a river in Da Nang, Vietnam. It is formed where the Yên and the Túy Loan join on the boundary between the districts Hòa Vang and Cẩm Lệ. Its flow mostly follows this district boundary, to finally flow between the wards Hòa Xuân and Khuê Trung of Cẩm Lệ district, to the tripoint of the districts Cẩm Lệ, Ngũ Hành Sơn, and Hải Châu, where it joins the Đò Toản to form the Hàn River. The Da Nang Water Supply Company, which supplies the city of Da Nang with freshwater, relies in big part on the Cầu Đỏ River for water intake. During the dry season, this is made difficult by saltwater intrusion, which has become worse since the construction of hydroelectric projects upstream.

Hòa Xuân Stadium (Vietnamese: Sân Vận Động Hòa Xuân) is a football-specific stadium in Da Nang, Vietnam. It is located in Cam Le District, just outside of the main city centre. The stadium has been the home of football team SHB Da Nang since 2016. The stadium has a capacity of 20,500.
