Port Royal is an unincorporated community on the border of Montgomery and Robertson counties, Tennessee. It is home to Port Royal State Park and is located at the confluence of the Red River and Sulphur Fork Creek.

Port Royal State Historic Park is a 26 acre (105,000 m²) historic area on the border of Montgomery and Robertson. The community of Port Royal is the namesake of the site. Port Royal existed as a town from 1797 to 1940, when the post office officially closed. The Red River runs through the center of the park. The park was established to preserve the former town and the elements of early Tennessee history, the history of the Red River Valley, as well as the heritage of the Trail of Tears and the Black Patch Tobacco Wars.

Stroudville is an unincorporated community in Robertson County, Tennessee, in the United States.

Sango is an unincorporated community in the southeastern corner of Montgomery County, Tennessee, about 5 miles east of Clarksville. It is located near Interstate 24, 30 minutes northwest of Nashville. Once primarily a rural community consisting largely of prime farmland, many new housing developments have gone up in the past few years. From before the Civil War to at least 1990, tobacco was the main cash crop in Sango. Besides burley and some flue-cured tobaccos, high-quality dark-fired (wood smoke-cured) tobacco was grown in Sango, as well as throughout Montgomery County. During the tobacco wars of 1904 to 1908 (between the farmers and the Duke tobacco monopoly), a key battle between the "Night Riders" (farmers) and agents of the tobacco monopoly took place at the intersection of Bagwell and Sango Roads, in eastern Sango. As Sango is neither an incorporated community nor a census-designated place, it has no clearly defined boundaries. It roughly covers an area stretching from U.S. Route 41A to just beyond Interstate 24. Sango is a much higher quality of living when compared similar towns like Ashland City.

Shady Grove is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Tennessee, United States. Shady Grove is 10.7 miles (17.2 km) east-southeast of downtown Clarksville.The community is home to the Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. It once had three schools, and was home to a one-room schoolhouse building until 1991, when it was relocated and renovated.

Holmansville is an unincorporated community in Robertson County, Tennessee, in the United States.

White Chapel or Grace Chapel is a historic church on Rossview Road in Rossview, Tennessee. It was established in the 1860s as a mission Sunday school for local children and served all Christian denominations. The frame building that houses the church was built in 1866 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Rossview High School is a high school located in Clarksville, Tennessee. It is part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The current building was completed in 2001 for $28 million. The school's mascot is Squawk The Hawk, and the school's colors are red and gold, though many sports teams prefer the more 'stylish' black and red. A special tutoring and peer advising program was implemented after "inadequate performance" in the 2003 No Child Left Behind tests, which helped to bring the school up to all federal benchmarks by 2005. The school far exceeds state achievement score averages for each grade for Reading/Language arts as well as for Math.

Adams is a city in Robertson County, Tennessee, United States. It is near the Kentucky state line. The population was 624 at the 2020 census.

The Sanford Wilson House is a historic house in Montgomery County, Tennessee. It was built in 1840 for Sanford Wilson, a planter and slave owner. It was inherited by his son Samuel in 1848, followed by Samuel's son, also named Samuel, in 1860. The Wilsons remained prosperous after the American Civil War; by 1890, they owned 3,050 acres.The house was designed in the Federal architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 13, 1978.

Guildfield Missionary Baptist Church is a historic African-American church on Guildfield Church Road in South Guthrie, Tennessee. The congregation was started in 1868 with meetings at a home in South Guthrie. It was formally organized in 1869 and affiliated with the Consolidated American Missionary Baptist Convention, a forerunner to the National Baptist Convention. Land for a church was acquired in 1871. The congregation completed a new frame church building before 1882. It was replaced at the same location by a second frame building in the 1880s and a third frame church in the 1890s.The church building was completed in 1922, replacing the building at the same location that had been built in the 1890s. Church deacon Edward Warfield raised much of the money for construction of the new church. In the same year, Warfield also led a successful community fund-raising effort for building of a new Rosenwald school to replace a black school in South Guthrie that was destroyed by a tornado. The $500 raised in the local African American community was combined with $300 from the Rosenwald Fund and $700 from government sources to pay for construction of a two-teacher Rosenwald school, also completed in 1922. The school, which came to be known as the Warfield School, currently houses a community center.The church is a two-story brick building on a concrete foundation with a gable-front entrance. Romanesque Revival elements are prominent in its design. There are two large Romanesque arched colored glass windows in the center of its eastern facade, flanked on either side by brick towers with double doorways in the shape of Romanesque arches. Brick buttresses with triangular white capstones are on the north and south corners of the towers and on the building's long north and side walls. The church's red brick walls have been painted red since 1980.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. Its size and architecture are unusual for an African-American church of its era. In the National Register nomination, historian Carroll Van West wrote that no other extant rural African-American church in Middle Tennessee "match[ed] the size, the brick masonry, and architectural distinctiveness of this building."

South Guthrie is an unincorporated rural community in Montgomery County, Tennessee, immediately south of the Kentucky state line.
