The Armoury is a Grade II* listed building in Winchelsea, East Sussex England.

Winchelsea Court Hall, formerly known as the Water Bailiff's Prison, is a municipal building in the High Street in Winchelsea, East Sussex, England. The structure, which is used as a museum, is a Grade I listed building.

Winchelsea Court Hall Museum is a local museum in Winchelsea, East Sussex, southern England. The Winchelsea Court Hall is one of the oldest buildings in the town, although it was extensively restored in the 19th century. The crown-post roof dates from the 15th century, with a medieval chimney. The museum itself is housed on the first floor of the building in the courtroom. The museum presents the history of the town of Winchelsea, including maps, models, pottery, and other displays. There are wall panels listing mayors of the town from 1295 onwards. The museum was established in 1950. One of the first accessions for the museum collection was a set of photographs of Winchelsea, presented by Hastings Corporation. Subsequent accessions have included artefacts associated with the Cinque Ports and archaeological items.

Winchelsea () is a town in the county of East Sussex, England, located between the High Weald and the Romney Marsh, approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) south west of Rye and 7 miles (11 km) north east of Hastings. The current town, which was founded in 1288, replaced an earlier town of the same name, known as Old Winchelsea, that was lost to coastal erosion in the late medieval period. Winchelsea is part of the civil parish of Icklesham. The mayor of Winchelsea is chosen each year from amongst the members of the corporation, who are known as freemen, rather than being elected by public vote. New freemen are themselves chosen by existing members of the corporation. Thus, in its current form, the corporation is effectively a relic of Winchelsea's days as a 'rotten borough' (when Winchelsea elected two MPs but the number of voters was restricted to about a dozen, sometimes fewer). The corporation lost its remaining civil and judicial powers in 1886 but was preserved as a charity by an Act of Parliament to maintain the membership of the Cinque Port Confederation. The mayor and corporation in Winchelsea now have a largely ceremonial role, together with responsibility for the ongoing care and maintenance of the main listed ancient monuments in the town and the Winchelsea museum.

Strand House was the Parish Workhouse of the Sussex town of Winchelsea known as the "Old Poor Houses". It was located on The Strand.

Winchelsea Cutting is a 0.15-hectare (0.37-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the southern outskirts of Winchelsea in East Sussex. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This site exposes the top two metres of the Ashdown Sand Formation and the bottom four metres of the Wadhurst Clay Formation, dating to the Wealden Group of the Lower Cretaceous around 140 million years ago.The site is at the side of the A259 road.

Blackfriars, Winchelsea, was a Dominican priory in Winchelsea, East Sussex, England. The friary was established in 1318 by Edward II on the outskirts of the new town of Winchelsea, but after several moves to different locations, was granted in 1358 a site of an acre with five adjoining houses in the town centre. It was dissolved in 1538, at which point the building was ruinous. As with other dissolved religious houses in Winchelsea, the stone of the structures was used for the construction of Camber Castle.A cellar under a barn in Rectory Lane, dated to the early 14th century, is believed to have formed part of the friary.

St Leonard's mill was a post mill at Winchelsea, East Sussex, England which was blown down in the Great Storm of 1987.

The River Brede is an English river in East Sussex. It flows into the Rock Channel (tidal section of the River Tillingham) and then onto the River Rother at Rye, Sussex. It takes its name from the village of Brede, which lies between Hastings and Tenterden.

Winchelsea Beach is a seaside village in the parish of Icklesham in the Rother district of East Sussex, England. The village is located about ten miles (15 km) east of Hastings, and about 1.5 miles (2 km) south east of Winchelsea. The beach itself faces Rye Bay, the estuary of the River Rother. At high tide it is composed of shingle, which is normal on this stretch of coastline; whilst at low tide an expanse of mud and sand is revealed. Many species of birds frequent the sands and the surrounding marshland of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.The village has facilities including: a church, Co-op store, two pubs, and a post office. There are two large holiday sites - Rye Bay and Winchelsea Sands Caravan Parks.

Winchelsea railway station is a railway station in East Sussex, England. It is about 0.62 miles (1 km) from Winchelsea and is actually in the neighbouring parish of Udimore. It is on the Marshlink line 9.3 miles (15 km) north east of Hastings, and train services are provided by Southern. The station originally had two platforms, but in 1979, the line was singled and only the up platform is now in use. The former down platform and station building are now converted to a private house.

Dumb Woman's Lane is a street located in the civil parish of Udimore, near Winchelsea in East Sussex, England. The street has achieved a level of notoriety because of its unusual name. While the etymology remains unconfirmed, sources do concur it owes to a mute woman residing on or near the lane, likely in the 18th century. The street is also known as the residence of the comedian Spike Milligan from 1988 until his death in 2002.
