Eugene Public Library

Eugene Skinner is an outdoor bronze sculpture of the founder of the city named after him, installed outside the Eugene Public Library in Eugene, Oregon, in the United States. The life-sized statue was created by local artist Jim Carpenter, who estimated Skinner's height to be around five feet, four inches, based on the distance between the butt and trigger of the rifle which appeared in photographs of the pioneer. Skinner is depicted sitting with a hat in his hand; the sculpture rests on a basalt block, quarried from Skinner Butte. Carpenter has said of the statue: I kind of thought that the big, standing, fist-in-the-air hero kind of thing was maybe a little too much. This is more modest. He is sitting there holding his hat and looking off in the direction of Skinner Butte. There is some public art that is not accessible or not very friendly. It seems to get ignored or walked past or spray-painted. I thought this would be a nice scale for kids. They could sit down next to him.

Eugene Station is the primary bus station and terminus in Eugene, Oregon, United States, serving the buses of the Lane Transit District (LTD). Construction began with the official groundbreaking in 1996 and the station opened in April, 1998. The station covers most of a city block, and includes a clock tower featuring glass pyramids and arches inset with colorful glass blocks created by local glass artist John Rose. Bus lines include LTD's EmX service.

McDonald Theatre is a theater and music venue in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Opened in 1925 as a movie house, the building was converted to a theater for performing arts, and is still in business. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Eugene Mall was a car-free zone in the heart of Eugene, Oregon, United States, designed to encourage pedestrian access to shopping and entertainment areas. Dedicated on February 13, 1971, the mall opened amid three days of fanfare and dreams of a revitalized downtown. Conflict over the scope and use of the mall began immediately and continued for 30 years until the last remaining parts of the mall were opened to automobile traffic. At that time, a former Eugene mayor commented that the city's dreams for a bright future just hadn't worked. Many residents, however, shared the much-earlier view of a former downtown merchant, that Eugene had sustained more damage from the mall than it would have from a natural disaster.

The Storyteller, also known as the Ken Kesey Memorial, is an outdoor bronze sculpture by Pete Helzer, installed at Kesey Square (located at Broadway and Willamette Street) in Eugene, Oregon, in the United States. Unveiled in 2003, it depicts American novelist, essayist, and countercultural figure Ken Kesey reading to his three grandchildren, Kate Smith, Caleb Kesey and Jordan Smith. Plaques on the base of the sculpture contain excerpts from Kesey's novels One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1962) and Sometimes a Great Notion (1964).

The McMorran and Washburne Department Store Building, also known as the Tiffany Building, is a four-story commercial structure in Eugene, Oregon, in the United States. The original two-story building was constructed in 1902 by Nels Roney as a dry goods store owned by former Eugene mayor J. H. McClung. The building was expanded to four stories in 1913.

The W.O.W. Hall, also stylized as WOW Hall, (AKA Community Center for the Performing Arts) is a performing arts venue in Eugene, Oregon, United States. The hall was bought in 1906 by the Woodmen of the World (W.O.W.) lodge, and later in 1932 they built the current structure, which was the most expensive building built in Eugene that year at $8,000. Originally, the hall was installed with a hard rock maple dance floor to be used for square dancing and ballroom dancing.In 1975, the hall was up for sale and was in danger of being demolished. Eventually, patrons of the hall organized to form the committee to Secure a Westside Community Center for the Performing Arts. They got a first option to purchase the hall when it went up for sale in December of that year. In 1983 the committee was able to buy the property and burned the lease in celebration.The W.O.W. Hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.On January 14, 2022, a mass shooting outside the venue hospitalized six people. As of January 18, no arrests have been made and police seek one suspect.
