Martin is a village in southeastern Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 410 at the 2010 census.

The Second Street–Gun River Bridge was a bridge in Martin Township, Michigan, USA. It was demolished in 2012. The bridge was significant as a rare example of a bridge with a plaque stating that it had been built as a result of Michigan's Covert Act. It was also one of the few remaining examples of a camelback highway bridge in Michigan.

WQXC-FM (100.9 FM, "Cool 101") is a radio station broadcasting an oldies format. Licensed to Allegan, Michigan, it first began broadcasting in 1981 under the WAOP call sign. WQXC-FM was licensed to Otsego, Michigan from its sign-on until the city of license changed to Allegan in November 2006. Prior to adopting the current Oldies format aimed at the Kalamazoo market, the station had programmed Adult Contemporary music focused toward the Otsego/Allegan area. The station was also formerly known by the name "Quixie 101" (with "Quixie" being a sounding-out of the station's calls) prior to changing to "Cool 101."

Michigan Career and Technical Institute (MCTI) is a public vocational school in Plainwell, Michigan. It is located on 72 acres (29 ha) of land with 700 feet (210 m) of accessible frontage on Pine Lake. The school is an extension of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services which works with Michigan Rehabilitative Services in order to serve the citizens of Michigan by rehabilitating and/or training students who come from poorer communities, are recovering addicts, veterans, or have disabilities, for employment in occupations that are relevant in today's job market.

The Austin H. and Frankie A. Dwight Summer House, also known as the Bay Pointe Restaurant, was a building constructed as a private summer home, located on Gun Lake at 11456 Marsh Road in Shelbyville, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1982 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The building was later used as a restaurant, and was demolished in 2004.

Gun Lake is a lake in the U.S. state of Michigan, located mostly in Barry County with the southwestern tip extending into Allegan County. Along most of the lake are numerous summer homes, cottages, and permanent residences. The Yankee Springs Recreation Area is based on northeastern portions of the lake. Gun Lake is the location of a State Park with a boat launch, two beaches, a campground, and picnic areas.

The Wayland Downtown Historic District is primarily commercial historic district located on Main and Superior Streets, between Maple and Pine Streets and between Church and Forest Streets in Wayland, Michigan. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
