Crikvenica (pronounced [ˈtsrikvɛnitsa]) is a town in Croatia, located on the Adriatic in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.

Dramalj is a small fishing village in Croatia. It is part of the town of Crikvenica, extending from the neighborhood Crni mol to the tourist complex Kačjak. A tourism boom in the nearby Crikvenica area and the rest of the Croatian Littoral in the 19th century drove the development of Dramalj. The village is home to the Dramalj Culture Hall, where traditional carnival feasts are held during the winter.

Vrtare Male is a pit cave located near Dramalj, a seaside village in Croatia. Its depth is believed to be 39 metres (128 ft), with around 10 metres (33 ft) submerged. It was first explored in 1966 by the Mountaineering Society Velebit. In 1996, Dragan Pelić, a photographer and spelaeologist from nearby Crikvenica, descended into the cave and found a rare Decapoda specimen, which was confirmed by Croatian spelaeologist Branko Jalžić. This prompted further cave expeditions, starting in 2005, and the establishment of a protected area around Vrtare Male.The cave is home to the freshwater cave prawn (Troglocaris anophthalmus), endemic to Dinaric karst. Vrtare Male is part of the National Ecological Network of Croatia. It is registered under the code HR3000257, and potential for inclusion in Natura 2000. In 2009, it was proclaimed a geological-palaeontological natural monument. The area under protection covers around 310 square metres (3,300 sq ft).

Polje (Croatian pronunciation: [pôʎe]) is a village located on the northeast of the island Krk. It is part of the municipality of Dobrinj. As of 2021, it had 285 inhabitants.

Žestilac (Chakavian: Žestiloc) is a village located on the Croatian island of Krk. It is part of the municipality of Dobrinj. As of 2021, it had 11 inhabitants. It is connected by road to the nearby villages of Polje and Sveti Vid Dobrinjski.

Risika is a village on the eastern side of the Croatian island of Krk. It is part of the municipality of Vrbnik. As of 2021, it had 154 inhabitants. The ruins of an old Frankopan castle, Gradec Castle (Croatian: Kaštel Gradec), are to be found just to the southwest of the village.

Vrbnik (Italian: Verbenico, German: Vörbnick) is a village and a municipality on the east coast of the island of Krk. The village is perched on a limestone outcropping 50 m above the Adriatic Sea. Vrbnik is naturally separated from mainland Croatia by the Vinodol Channel, where the towns of Crikvenica and Novi Vinodolski can be observed across the sea. Since 1980 the island has been connected to mainland Croatia via the Krk Bridge. Vrbnik has a long history of 900 years, it was an important Frankopan castle, and a Glagolitic and religious center. Originally a walled town, Vrbnik was established in medieval times. According to the 2021 census, the settlement of Vrbnik itself has a population of 887 with a total of 1,190 people in the municipality, which includes three other nearby settlements; Garica with 138 inhabitants, Kampelje with 11 inhabitants and Risika with 154 inhabitants.

Gostinjac (Chakavian: Gostinjoc) is a village located on the Croatian island of Krk. It is part of the municipality of Dobrinj. As of 2021, it had 94 inhabitants. There is a church in the village devoted to Saint Martin.
