Bongdaesan

Gangmae Station is a railway station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. It closed July 2009 due to its proximity to Haengsin Station but was reconstructed and reopened on October 25, 2014 following the development of the surrounding area.

The Magok Railway Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea as a part of the AREX of the Incheon International Airport. A truss bridge, construction began in January 2004 and finished on December 29, 2010.

Haengsin Station is a station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and Gyeongui Line. The KTX Goyang Train Depot is located behind this station, and some KTX trains serve passengers at this station.

The Battle of Haengju took place on 14 March 1593 during the 1592–1598 Japanese invasion of Korea. The Japanese attack failed to overcome Haengju fortress.

The Banghwa Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the Gangseo-gu in Seoul and Goyang in Gyeonggi Province. The bridge is a part of the Incheon International Airport Expressway. At over 2.5 km in length, it is the longest bridge to cross the Han River. Though mostly a girder bridge, the middle 540m section is an arch truss, resembling the shape of an airplane taking off.

The Gayang Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the Gangseo District and Mapo District. The bridge was completed in 2002.

Heojun Museum is a municipal museum in Gayang 2-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, South Korea to commemorate the legacy of Heo Jun (1546–1615), a court physician during the reign of King Seonjo (r. 1567 – 1608) of the mid Joseon Dynasty of Korea.

Yangcheon Hyanggyo Station is a railway station on Line 9 of the Seoul Subway. This station is named from near this station, Yangcheon Hyanggyo, the only hyanggyo in Seoul.

The Japanese School in Seoul (ソウル日本人学校, Souru Nihonjin Gakkō, 서울일본인학교) is a Japanese international school located in the Sangam-dong neighborhood of Mapo District, Seoul, for the children of Japanese citizens residing in South Korea.The Japanese School in Seoul was established on May 8, 1972, with a total of 33 kindergarten and primary school students. In 2005, it had grown to 403 students at kindergarten, primary and middle school levels. The Japanese School in Seoul is recognized by Japan's Ministry of Education as teaching a curriculum equivalent to schools for the same ages in Japan. The Japanese School in Seoul moved to its current location in Digital Media City (DMC) in Mapo on September 27, 2010, from its former location in the Gaepo-dong neighborhood of Gangnam District.
