Penn State Harrisburg

Penn State Harrisburg Library (Middletown, Pennsylvania, USA) is an academic library which serves Penn State Harrisburg, the Harrisburg (or Capital) campus of the Pennsylvania State University. It is one of more than 20 libraries in Pennsylvania State University Libraries system. Penn State Harrisburg Library is located at 351 Olmsted Drive and is open more than 90 hours per week (including nights and weekends) [1]. In addition to a print collection, the library provides numerous online resources.

WMSS (91.1 FM, "Super 91") is a high school-operated high school radio station serving the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, metropolitan area, licensed to Middletown and owned by the Middletown Area School District. The station serves as a training ground for high school students and offers a block format.

Middletown Area High School is a small, suburban, public high school in Middletown, Pennsylvania. It is the only high school operated by Middletown Area School District. Middletown Area High School serves: the boroughs of Middletown and Royalton and Lower Swatara Township in Dauphin County. In the 2015–2016 school year, enrollment was 653 pupils in 9th through 12th grades.

Middletown station is an Amtrak train station on the Keystone Corridor in Middletown, Dauphin County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The station is served by Amtrak's Keystone Service between New York City and Harrisburg. The former low-level station was built in 1990, but a relocated station with a high-level platform opened on January 10, 2022.

St. Peter's Kierch, also called the Old Kierch or St. Peter's Church, is a historic Lutheran church in Middletown, Dauphin County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Construction began in 1767 and it was dedicated by Henry Muhlenberg in 1769. St. Peter's Kierch was used regularly until 1879 when a large church was completed. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Simon Cameron House and Bank consists of an historic home and bank building that are located in Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Charles and Joseph Raymond Houses consists of two historic homes located at Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. They are two irregularly shaped brick and stone mansions in the Queen Anne style. They were built across the street from one another by two brothers, Charles and Joseph Raymond. The Charles Raymond House was built in 1891, and has a rusticated stone first story and a second story of brick. It features a variety of roof shapes and four articulated brick chimneys. The Joseph Raymond House was built in 1889, and has a rusticated stone first story and a second story of brick. It features a circular verandah and a square corner tower with an irregular pyramidal roof. It also has a large circular tower with a conical roof and a second floor balcony.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Swatara Ferry House, also known as "Old Fort," is a historic home located at Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. It is a 1+1⁄2-story log building with a full stone foundation and cellar, built in two sections. It is believed to date to about 1820. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Harrisburg Air National Guard Base is a United States Air Force base, located at Harrisburg International Airport, (IATA: MDT, ICAO: KMDT, FAA LID: MDT) Pennsylvania. It is located 1.7 miles (2.7 km) west-southwest of Middletown, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Air National Guard facility is sited on the location of the former Olmsted Air Force Base, which was closed in 1969. The 193d Special Operations Wing operates Lockheed Martin MC-130J Commando Solo II aircraft. Today the airfield is split between civilian activities, Harrisburg IAP (MDT) and military activities, which now carry the Harrisburg ANGB title. After Olmsted AFB closed in 1970 major civilian air activities moved from Capital City Airport, near Harrisburg over to the former Olmsted site.
