Old St. Andrew's Parish Church is a historic church in Charleston, South Carolina. It is the oldest surviving church building in South Carolina. The parish was one of ten Anglican churches established by South Carolina's Church Act of 1706, and the original church was built the same year. It was expanded to its current cruciform plan in 1723. The church was disused from 1891 to 1948, since which it has undergone steady restoration. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. In 2013, the parish left the Episcopal Church and joined what subsequently became the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina, but in 2022 the church building was ordered to be returned to the Episcopal Church by the Supreme Court of South Carolina. On 17 August 2022, the South Carolina Supreme Court affirmed the property rights of six parishes, including Old St. Andrew's, of the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina, who will be able to keep them because of this decision.

The North Charleston Coliseum is a multi-purpose arena in North Charleston, South Carolina. It is part of the North Charleston Convention Center Complex, which also includes a performing arts center and convention center. It is owned by the City of North Charleston and managed by ASM Global. The coliseum opened in 1993, with the performing arts center and convention center opened in 1999. The complex is located on the access road to the Charleston International Airport. It is home to the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays professional ice hockey team and serves as an alternate home for the Charleston Southern University basketball team. It is the area's primary venue for concerts and other major indoor events expected to draw large crowds. The venue is currently undergoing an expansion project intended to increase concourse space, provide additional points of sale, and create venues for banquets, receptions, and other smaller-scale events. Ashley Landing (originally opened as Ashley Plaza and later known as Ashley Plaza Mall) is a shopping mall in Charleston, South Carolina, United States. It was the first indoor shopping mall in the West Ashley area of Charleston when the complex was fully completed in 1972. The center, located at 1401 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard (S.C. Highway 7) at the fork of Old Towne Road (S.C. Highway 171) was developed by Gate City Realty Company of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ground was broken for the complex in 1962 with Ashley Plaza opening on April 16, 1964. At its opening the shopping center consisted of J.M. Fields Department Stores joined to a Pantry Pride supermarket, built at a cost of $1.75 million and owned by Sumar Corporation of South Carolina. The locally owned Condon's Department Store, constructed adjacent to Pantry Pride as a freestanding building, became the third tenant when it opened in 1970. The center, originally known as "Ashley Plaza" was noted for its large red and white neon pylon "Ashley Plaza" sign in the center of the parking lot that remained until 1989 when it was destroyed by Hurricane Hugo.

The North Charleston Fire Museum and Educational Center is a fire museum in North Charleston, South Carolina, displaying a collection of fire fighting vehicles dating back to the 1780s. On permanent loan from the American LaFrance Company, which was headquartered nearby until its closure in 2014, the 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2) facility displays more than 20 restored vehicles, interactive exhibits and simulators. Established in 2007 by the city of North Charleston, the museum is a popular rainy day activity for tourists. Retired and active firefighters from the area provide tours for groups and area available to answer questions about the equipment and fire safety. Other exhibits include a 4-D film on the history of firefighting, robotic presentation on fire dangers in the home and a small playground area with a fire-pole and slide. The Fire Museum is a stop on the route for some shuttle buses that operate between Charleston and its airport.

West Ashley Park is the largest municipal park in Charleston, South Carolina. It is located in the West Ashley area of the city. The city originally bought a 99.8-acre parcel, including a lake created from an old phosphate mine, in 1985. In 1997, a neighboring property owner, Ross Development Corp., offered to deed the city six adjoining parcels in exchange for the city's constructing a road from the Glenn McConnell Parkway to the park. The estimated cost of the road was $421,100, and the appraised value of the new 161 acres being offered (a 95-acre park addition and a 66-acre wetland preserve) was $429,590.Work on the park began in 1998 after the city was permitted to remove several large trees at the site. In 1998, Anson Construction Co. was awarded a $2.3 million contract for the park's initial development.The park opened on April 8, 2000 to the public, but progress on new features at the park continued. By 2001, the park included four baseball fields and four soccer fields. Bicycle and pedestrian trails crisscrossed the property down to Church Creek. Although the public had been given access to the park as features were added, the formal opening of the park did not occur until 2001.On Sundays adult recreation soccer games are held at West Ashley Park during both the Spring and the Fall seasons of the CSL. In 2007, a disc golf course was planned, the only free course within an hour of Charleston.

Citadel Mall is a regional 1,138,527 square feet (105,773 m2) shopping mall located in Charleston, South Carolina, United States. It opened on July 29, 1981 and is located at the intersection of Sam Rittenberg Boulevard (SC Hwy. 7) and I-526. The mall features more than 100 stores. On September 1, 2013 the mall went into foreclosure after then owner CBL & Associates Properties defaulted on mortgage payments and it was purchased at auction by the lender in January 2014. After the auction, the mall was placed under the ownership of a holding company formed by the lender, 2070 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard Holdings LLC and as of January 2017 was under contract to be sold to an undisclosed buyer. The anchor stores are Target, Belk, Dillard's, Mixed Bag Productions, and Medical University of South Carolina.

Northbridge Park is a public park in the West Ashley area of Charleston, South Carolina on land owned by the South Carolina Department of Transportation but operated by the City of Charleston. The park is on the south shore at the point Sam Rittenberg Boulevard crosses the Ashley River. The park, which cost about $1.5 million, opened on May 27, 2014, with a pier and dock, a canoe and kayak launch, a picnic area, and 16 parking spaces.
