Clontarf, Queensland

Clontarf Beach State High School (CBSHS), opened 1964, is a co-educational, public high school based in Clontarf in Queensland, Australia. Clontarf State Primary School is located not far from it. The current principal is Jo House. The school's enrolment in 2008 was approximately 1148. In December 2008 the number was 1240. In 2008 Clontarf High was in the news for being in the most disrepair, however since then money has been spent making the school even safer for students and up grading the classrooms. Recently the school has built new tennis and futsal courts on the school oval and converted the old tennis courts into a one-of-a-kind Marine Science EcoCentre.

The Redcliffe Peninsula is a peninsula located in the City of Moreton Bay in the northeast of the Brisbane metropolitan area in Queensland, Australia. The area covers the suburbs of Clontarf, Kippa-Ring, Margate, Newport, Redcliffe, Rothwell, Scarborough and Woody Point. Redcliffe was the site of the first European settlement in Queensland, and was previously governed by its own local government area, the City of Redcliffe. Today, it falls within the City of Moreton Bay local government area. As a result of its beaches as well as its coastal, fishing and recreational amenities, the Redcliffe Peninsula is a popular recreational destination within the Brisbane metropolitan area. Redcliffe Peninsula is home to over 55,000 residents over its total area of 38.1 km2 (14.7 sq mi). The peninsula is relatively flat with few areas rising more than 20 m (66 ft) above sea level.

Margate was part of the City of Redcliffe until 2008, when it was amalgamated into the Moreton Bay Region, now known as the City of Moreton Bay. In the 2016 census, Margate had a population of 7,405 people.

Woody Point is a coastal suburb of Redcliffe in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, Woody Point had a population of 4,418 people.Along with its neighbouring coastal suburbs on the Redcliffe Peninsula, the suburb is a popular recreational destination within the Brisbane metropolitan area.

Kippa-Ring railway station is the terminus of the Redcliffe Peninsula railway line and serves the suburb of Kippa-Ring in City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia. It features a park & ride facility and local bus stops. A stabling facility, capable of holding 10 six car trains, is located to the west of the station. It opened, together with the rail line, on 4 October 2016.Following an upgrade of Kippa-Ring railway station's car park, the station now has 408 parking spaces, consisting of 396 normal parking spaces, two new family parking spaces, and ten disability parking spaces, eight are located near the grassed area at the entrance to the station, with two of the originally installed spaces still available, with the rest being replaces by the two family parking spots and seven regular parking spots.

Woody Point Memorial Hall is a heritage-listed school of arts at Hornibrook Esplanade, Woody Point, City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Hubert George Octavius Thomas. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 14 March 2014.

Redcliffe Fire Station is a heritage-listed former fire station at 395 Oxley Avenue, Redcliffe, City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1948 to 1949 by Alex Smith. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 6 September 2005.

HMQS Gayundah was a flat-iron gunboat operated by the Queensland Maritime Defence Force and later the Royal Australian Navy (as HMAS Gayundah). She entered service in 1884 and was decommissioned and sold to a civilian company in 1921. She then served as sand and gravel barge in Brisbane until the 1950s, when she was scrapped. In 1958, Gayundah was run aground at Woody Point near Redcliffe, to serve as a breakwater structure.
