Cafe Regatta is a café in Taka-Töölö, Helsinki, Finland. The café building is a small red log cabin that has been located in the same place on the Merikannontie street, on the shores of the Taivallahti bay, for 120 years. There are several attractions nearby, such as the Sibelius Monument, the Töölö Rowing Stadium (built for the 1952 Summer Olympics), and the old Villa Humlevik. The café was originally a fishing shed of Paulig's coffee business family in the late 19th century.Cafe Regatta is small indoors, but weather permitting, there are more seats on the café's terrace, which offers sea views. The owner and the terrace of the café have been originally decorated with various utensils and signs. The café's terrace has a fireplace for frying sausages. In addition to café products, Regatta's selections include equipment rental; during the summer season, a canoe, kayak, rowing boat or SUP board can be rented from the café. The café is mentioned on various tourist sites presenting Helsinki, so in addition to locals, there are also a lot of foreign tourists visiting there. Tripadvisor has received a number of reviews and a high rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. Cafe Regatta also won the title of the best café in the city in the 2014 big restaurant vote of the City magazine.

The Sibelius Monument (Finnish: Sibelius-monumentti; Swedish: Sibeliusmonumentet) by Eila Hiltunen is dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (1865–1957). The monument is located at the Sibelius Park (Finnish: Sibeliuspuisto; Swedish: Sibeliusparken) in the district of Töölö in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland.

Sophie Mannerheim School (Finnish: Sophie Mannerheimin koulu; formerly Aurora School, Finnish: Auroran koulu) is a primary and hospital school located in the Taka-Töölö district in Helsinki, Finland. The school has grades 1–9, and it has the special mission of hospital teaching to teach elementary school-aged children who are hospitalized at HYKS. The school is named after Sophie Mannerheim (1863–1928), a baroness nurse who founded the Children's Castle, among other things.As of 2019, the school operates in mobile modular buildings in front of the HYKS Psychiatry Center. In addition, the school has branch office on the Stenbäckinkatu street near the New Children's Hospital. As of 2023 planning is ongoing for a move of the school to Laakso, where a new hospital is expected to house a children's ward starting from 2028.

Hietaniemi beach (Finnish: Hietaniemen uimaranta or Hietaranta, Swedish: Sandudds badstrand or Sandstrand; colloquially Hietsu) is a popular sand beach in central Helsinki, Finland. It is located in the Töölö district, next to the Hietaniemi Cemetery and is the most popular beach in central Helsinki. On the hill next to the beach is a stone sundial designed in 1931 by Gerda Qvist.

Children's Castle (Lastenlinna) is a children's hospital in Helsinki, Finland. It is part of Helsinki University Central Hospital. The hospital was established in 1917 in the Kallio district of Helsinki. The building was designed by the Finnish architect Elsi Borg. Its current building in Taka-Töölö was completed in 1948. Pediatrician Arvo Ylppö was the hospital chief of Children's Castle from 1920 to 1963.

Kesäranta (lit. "summer shore", Swedish: Villa Bjälbo) is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Finland, located in Helsinki in the neighborhood of Meilahti, overlooking Seurasaarenselkä. The residence is owned by the Finnish Government through Senate Properties. Meilahti neighborhood where Kesäranta is located is a zone of prohibited airspace .

Töölö Church (Finnish: Töölön kirkko, Swedish: Tölö kyrka) is a Lutheran church in the Taka-Töölö district of Helsinki, Finland. The building represents Nordic Classicism and was designed by Hilding Ekelund following an architectural competition. Completed in 1930, it originally served as a parish center and was dedicated as a church when Töölö parish was created in 1941.The church main hall seats 400 people. There are also two parish meeting halls for 70 and 20 people.Töölö Church reopened in early 2016 after three and a half years of renovations.

Helsinki School of Business (HELBUS) is a private university located in Helsinki, Finland. The school offers a bachelor's degree in business and management (BA Hons) and an MBA in partnership with the University of Northampton, an institution governed by QAA, the official British quality agency for higher education. The Hietaniemi cemetery (Finnish: Hietaniemen hautausmaa, Swedish: Sandudds begravningsplats) is located mainly in the Lapinlahti quarter and partly in the Etu-Töölö district of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. It is the location for Finnish state funeral services and is owned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. The cemetery includes a large military cemetery section for soldiers from the capital fallen in the wars against the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany: in the Winter War (1939–1940), the Continuation War (1941–1944) and the Lapland War (1944–1945). In the centre of the military cemetery are the tombs of the unknown soldier and Marshal C. G. E. Mannerheim. Other notable sections of the cemetery are the cemetery of the Finnish Guard, the Artist's Hill and the Statesmen's Grove. There are two Lutheran funerary chapels and a crematorium at the area. Hietaniemi means "sand cape" and is a headland located centrally in Helsinki.

Runeberginkatu (Swedish: Runebergsgatan) is a major street in central Helsinki, Finland. Starting from Kampintori, it runs in a sweeping arc broadly northwards for approximately 1.8 kilometres (1.1 mi) through the districts of Kamppi and Töölö, via Töölöntori square, terminating at a junction with Mannerheimintie by the Finnish National Opera. The street is named after Johan Ludvig Runeberg, the national poet of Finland. The name first appears in a map from 1892, initially as 'Runebergkatu', and was changed in 1928 to its current format.Sections of the street carry tram traffic (as of January 2021, routes 1, 2 and 8).Major intersections of Runeberginkatu include: Arkadiankatu Museokatu Hesperia Esplanade Topeliuksenkatu MannerheimintieNotable buildings along the street include the Swedish-language Hanken School of Economics, on the corner with Arkadiankatu.
