Saugerties, New York

The Main–Partition Streets Historic District is located at Saugerties in Ulster County, New York. The district includes 78 contributing buildings. It encompasses the village's central business district. It includes a variety of two and three story, brick commercial buildings, two churches, a U.S. Post Office, three small dwellings, three 19th century brick barns, a 19th-century frame barn, and a variety of outbuildings.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Saugerties () is a village in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 3,899 at the 2020 census, showing a slight decline from the 3,971 counted at the 2010 census. The Village of Saugerties is located on the west bank of the Hudson River, at the mouth of the Esopus Creek. It is in the eastern part of the Town of Saugerties. U.S. Route 9W and New York State Route 32 pass through the village, converging at its center and overlapping to the south. These routes parallel the New York State Thruway (Interstate 87), which passes through the town a mile west of the village.

Dubois-Kierstede Stone House is one of several historic stone buildings in Saugerties, New York. It was built in 1727 and modified over the years. It is currently the home of the Saugerties Historical Society, which operates the structure as the Kiersted House Museum. In 2001, the society received a $150k grant to further restore the building. The house was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Loerzel Beer Hall, also known as "The Brewery" was built in 1873 at 213 Partition Street in Saugerties, Ulster County, New York. It was built about 1873, and is a large three-story, brick building. It measures 45 feet wide and 65 feet deep, and features broad brick gables with lancet openings, a heavy cornice, and decorative cast-iron lintels. It was rehabilitated in 1985. It currently serves as an apartment building. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

The Church of St. Mary of the Snow is a Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located in Saugerties, Ulster County, New York.

Saugerties High School is a public high school in Saugerties, New York, United States. It is physically attached to the Junior High School which runs from 7th to 8th grade. It is the only High School in the Saugerties Central School District.

Trinity Episcopal Church Complex is a historic Episcopal church complex located at the junction of Church Street and Barclay Street in Saugerties, Ulster County, New York. The church was built in 1831, and is a large one-story, Greek Revival style frame building. A large wing was added about 1900. The front facade features a pedimented portico with four fluted Doric order columns. Also on the property is the "H"-shaped brick Parish Hall (c. 1875) and the 2+1⁄2-story, Dutch Revival style rectory (c. 1890).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Sawyer Kill or Sawyer's Kill is a 7.0-mile-long (11.3 km) tributary stream of the Hudson River in New York state. The source is at the Great Vlaie on the border of Ulster and Greene counties. The stream enters the Hudson River at Seamon Park in Malden, New York, just north of the village of Saugerties. Saugerties takes its name from the Dutch, "Saugerje's Kill" or "Little Sawyer's creek".

Saugerties South is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 2,442 at the 2020 census. Saugerties South is a community south of the Village of Saugerties and Esopus Creek in the Town of Saugerties. U.S. Route 9W passes through the community.

The Wynkoop House is located on New York Route 32 just north of an offramp from the New York State Thruway and its junction with NY 212 in the town of Saugerties, New York, United States. It is a linear stone house built in two sections by the descendants of Dutch settlers around 1740, and renovated in later years. Architecturally, it has many well-preserved features of the type of Dutch stone house common in 18th-century Ulster County, with some others suggesting later efforts to distance its residents from the original idea. It remained in the hands of the Wynkoop descendants until the early 20th century. In 1984 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Saugerties Light, known also as the Saugerties Lighthouse, is a lighthouse on the Hudson River north of Saugerties, New York.

Malden-on-Hudson (-), commonly known as Malden, is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 365 at the 2020 census. The community of Malden is in the eastern part of the Town of Saugerties, north of the Village of Saugerties. There is a public boat launch on the Hudson River that is often used by the Malden Yacht Club, a group of local kayakers.
