Funland Amusement Park (Little Rock, Arkansas)

Area code 501 is a telephone area code in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) for central Arkansas, including Little Rock and most of its suburbs. The numbering plan area (NPA) comprises most communities in Cleburne, Conway, Faulkner, Garland, Hot Spring, Lonoke, Perry, Pulaski, Saline, White and Van Buren counties.

Burns Park is a 1,700-acre (690 ha) park in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The park features two golf courses, Funland Amusement Park, sports facilities and a camping area.

The Amboy Overpass was a historic bridge in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Built in 1941, it carried MacArthur Drive (Arkansas Highway 365) across the railroad tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad in the northwestern part of the city. It was a twelve-span structure with a total length of 573 feet (175 m), whose longest span was 80 feet (24 m). The carrying piers and abutments were all fashioned out of reinforced concrete, and a concrete balustrade ran along each side of the deck. Due to structural deficiencies, the bridge was demolished and replaced by a new bridge in 2017. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995, and was delisted in 2022.

University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College (or UA–PTC) is a public technical college in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is part of the University of Arkansas System and mainly serves the Central Arkansas region, along with Little Rock to the south. The college maintains satellite campuses throughout Pulaski and Saline Counties. Its main campus is located along a bluff overlooking the Arkansas River in the western part of North Little Rock, northwest of the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center VA facility. The school also maintains a secondary campus on the southwest side of Little Rock along Interstate 30, which includes a separate school focused on the culinary arts and hospitality fields.It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The college merged with the University of Arkansas System on February 1, 2017. Dr. Summer DeProw began serving as Chancellor at University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College on Jan. 2, 2023.

The Arkansas Army National Guard (ARARNG) is a component of the Arkansas National Guard and the United States National Guard. National coordination of various state National Guard units are maintained through the National Guard Bureau. Arkansas Army National Guard units are trained and equipped as part of the United States Army. The same ranks and insignia are used and National Guardsmen are eligible to receive all United States military awards. The Arkansas National Guard also bestows a number of state awards for local services rendered in or to the State of Arkansas. The Arkansas Army National Guard is composed of approximately 6,000 soldiers, and maintains 77 armories in 77 communities. The Arkansas Army National Guard also operates two major training facilities, Chaffee Maneuver Training Center (formerly Fort Chaffee), located near Fort Smith, Arkansas and Robinson Maneuver Training Center (formerly Camp Joseph T. Robinson) located in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Arkansas National Guard (ARNG), commonly known as the Arkansas Guard, is a component of the Government of Arkansas and the National Guard of the United States. It is composed of Army and Air National Guard units. The adjutant general's office is located at Camp Robinson MTC, North Little Rock.

The Cherry-Luter Estate is a historic country estate, also known as The Castle, at 521 West Scenic Drive in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The main house is a two-story French Renaissance limestone structure with a gabled roof and round tower at its southwest corner. A carriage house of similar construction stands nearby, and there is a pavilion with a half-timbered roof with exposed beams. A stone wall lines the road at the edge of the property, which is just under 5 acres (2.0 ha) in size. The estate was largely developed by 1923 by John J. Cherry, and is one of the city's architectural landmarks.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.The estate was purchased by Rev. Steven and Theresa Tiner in February, 2016.

Crystal Hill is an unincorporated community in Hill Township, Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. It is located along Crystal Hill Road near the junction of Interstate 40 (I-40) and I-430.

Fort Logan H. Roots, commonly known as Fort Roots, is a former U.S. Army post in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It was named in honor of Brevet Lieutenant Colonel Logan Holt Roots, U.S. Volunteers, who served with distinction in the Western Theater of the American Civil War. It was established in 1892 and garrisoned from 1896 to 1913. After World War I, the post was transferred to the Public Health Service for use as a hospital, and in 1921, an Act of Congress authorized the establishment of a hospital for veterans. Fort Roots is home to the VA's Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center and the Law Enforcement Training Center.

Lloyd England Hall is a historic building at the northwest corner of 6th and Missouri Streets, on the grounds of Camp Joseph T. Robinson, an Arkansas National Guard base in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a Spanish Revival structure, designed by the Little Rock architectural firm of Thompson, Sanders, and Ginnochio, and built in 1931, when the facility was known as Camp Pike. Originally built as an auditorium and meeting hall, it is now home to the Arkansas National Guard Museum. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Robinson Maneuver Training Center, also known as Camp Joseph T. Robinson, is a 32,000-acre (13,000 ha) Arkansas Army National Guard installation located in North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. It hosts the Joint Force Headquarters of the Arkansas National Guard, the Headquarters of the Arkansas Air National Guard, the Headquarters of the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade, the Headquarters of the 87th Troop Command, and the Camp Pike U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex. The installation is also home to three National Guard training centers: The National Guard Professional Education Center (PEC), the National Guard Marksmanship Training Center (NGMTC), and the 233d Regiment (Regional Training Institute).

Located adjacent to the Arkansas River, Riverdale is a neighborhood of Little Rock, Arkansas, situated in the north-central area of the city. It lies to the northeast and at a lower elevation from Pulaski Heights, and to the northwest of downtown. Riverdale contains a considerable amount of warehouses in the eastern part of the neighborhood, served by Union Pacific rail lines that travel through the area. The warehouse section is flanked on the east by the corporate headquarters of Dillard's Department Stores, and is noted for a couple of larger gay nightclubs, Discovery and Triniti, as well as the landmark restaurant and bar, Cajun's Wharf, one of many such businesses with a long presence in Little Rock. The neighborhood progresses westward toward shopping areas, office complexes, and upscale residential communities. Part of the lure to Riverdale in recent years for shoppers has been an increased emphasis on design-oriented businesses, with retailers offering antiques, ceramics, fine fabrics, plants and specialty lighting fixtures. Accompanying these shops is a popular mix of restaurants skewing toward Southern and Italian cuisine. Beyond shopping venues, soccer fields and corporate towers inch the neighborhood toward the riverfront. Regional headquarters for telecommunications providers Verizon Communications and Windstream Communications, as well as the non-profit service organization Winrock International, are among the companies whose executives broker deals here, and KATV (channel 7) moved their studio facilities to a building along Riverfront in January 2023. A combination of gated communities, apartments and condominiums buffer the corporate corridor from Rebsamen Golf Course, the city's largest public golf course, and Murray Park to the far west along Riverfront Drive.
