Henry (Hendrick) I. Van Rensselaer House

Conyn-Van Rensselaer is a historic home located on Stone Mill Road in the town of Claverack, New York. It is a gambrel-roofed structure of brick, two and a half stories high, and was eventually owned by A. H. Van Rensselaer, a descendant of Hendrick Van Rensselaer. It has recently undergone extensive restoration. The property also contains barns and outbuildings. Kasparus Konyn was a captain in a provincial regiment, and warmly espoused the American cause in the Revolution. In 1776 he erected this large house. The Conyns were among the Palatine Germans who immigrated to the Germantown area of Columbia County, New York in the 1700s seeking religious freedom. He married Mildred (Joan Gardner) Yates who was a member of another local family, for whom a nearby road is named. The area was well settled by members of the Van Rennselaer family who eventually acquired the farm upon Conyn's demise and have held it since.The historic home of Hendrick I. Henry W. Livingston House, also known as "The Hill", is a historic home located at Livingston in Columbia County, New York. It was built in 1803 and is a massive, two-story brick dwelling coated in stucco. It has a three-bay central block with wings that terminate in octagons. The central block features curved bays and a two-story portico with four Ionic order columns and cut stone stylobate. There are also one-story curved porches with smaller Ionic columns that connect the octagons of wings to the central block. It was built by Henry W. Livingston (1768-1810).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

Forth House is a historic home located at Livingston in Columbia County, New York. It was built between 1835 and 1840 and is a large, classically proportioned hipped roof structure in the Greek Revival style. It was the last major high-style, sophisticated masonry dwelling built for the Livingston family. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Taghkanic Creek is a 30.1-mile-long (48.4 km) tributary to Claverack Creek in Columbia County, New York, in the United States. Via Claverack Creek and Stockport Creek, it is part of the Hudson River watershed. Its source is in the town of Hillsdale, and it passes through the towns of Copake, Taghkanic, and Livingston before terminating at Claverack Creek in the town of Greenport.

The Stephen Hogeboom House is located on NY 23B in Claverack, New York, United States. It is a frame Georgian-style house built in the late 18th century. It was renovated in the mid-19th century, with several Greek Revival embellishments, but otherwise remains intact. In 1997 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Rev. Dr. Elbert S. Porter House, also known as "Oakledge," is a historic home located at Claverack in Columbia County, New York. It was built in 1846, and is a Greek Revival–style residence. It is a 2-story, three-by-two-bay, side entry frame dwelling with a single-storied square-columned porch spanning the facade. The 2-story main block is flanked by small single-story wings.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The First Columbia County Courthouse is located along NY 23B near the center of the hamlet of Claverack, New York, United States. It is a brick building in the Federal style constructed in 1786 and renovated in the mid-19th century. At that time Claverack was the seat of Columbia County. The courthouse was in use for 20 years until nearby Hudson replaced Claverack as the county seat. Martin Van Buren argued cases there, and Alexander Hamilton may have as well. The Harry Croswell libel case, in which a local journalist was criminally charged for his criticism of President Thomas Jefferson, was first tried here. After its days as a courthouse ended, the building remained in use as a meeting room. It has since been converted into apartments. In 1998 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

William Henry Ludlow House is a historic home located at Claverack in Columbia County, New York, next to the Ludlow-Van Rensselaer House. It was built in 1786 and is a Georgian-style residence. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, five-bay center-entrance, brick dwelling. The south facade features a finely crafted Palladian window. Also on the property are four large stone gate posts and an original mile marker. There are 10 fireplaces. Outbuildings include the original summer kitchen, root cellar, ice house and a new carriage house. The house underwent a historically correct restoration in 2011.William Henry Ludlow (1740-1803) was a New York merchant who came to Claverack to escape the British occupation of the city during the Revolution. As a prominent Federalist, William Ludlow entertained Supreme Court Justice John Jay in the house in the spring of 1789. The Ludlow House was a precursor to what became known as the Federal style of American architecture. He is buried in The Claverack Dutch Reformed Churchyard. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. The property was previously owned by Academy Award-winning film producer Peter Spears and his husband, Brian Swardstrom; they purchased the home in 2009 and sold it in 2012. It remains a private residence.

Ludlow-Van Rensselaer House is a historic home located at Claverack in Columbia County, New York, next to the William Henry Ludlow House. It was built about 1784 and is a 2-story, five-by-one-bay center entrance, brick dwelling with a gable roof. It has a 2-story gable-roofed rear wing. The entry features a finely crafted portico composed of Ionic order columns supporting a wide entablature and shallow pitched roof.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Cornelius S. Muller House is located along NY 23B in Claverack, New York, United States. It is a pre-Revolutionary brick house in a Dutch Colonial style with some English influences. During the Revolutionary War, it was the meeting place of the local Committee of Safety and a site for courts martial. In 1840 it was renovated, but it has otherwise remained intact from its original time period. In 1997 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Shaw Bridge, also known as Double-Span Whipple Bowstring Truss Bridge, is a historic bridge in Claverack, New York, United States. It carried Van Wyck Lane over Claverack Creek, but is now closed to all traffic, even pedestrians. It is "a structure of outstanding importance to the history of American engineering and transportation technology." Specifically designed by John D. Hutchinson, the bridge employs the basic design of Squire Whipple. It is the only extant "double" Whipple bowstring truss bridge in the U.S., having two identical spans placed in series over a common pier.The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Since then its wooden deck has deteriorated to the point where it cannot be used even by pedestrians, and it has been closed.
