Rabin Square

Tel Aviv City Hall (Hebrew: בית עיריית תל אביב Beit Iriyat Tel Aviv) is the municipal government center of Tel Aviv, Israel. It houses the mayor's office, the meeting chambers and offices of the Tel Aviv City Council.

The assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, the fifth prime minister of Israel, took place on 4 November 1995 (12 Marcheshvan 5756 on the Hebrew calendar) at 21:30, at the end of a rally in support of the Oslo Accords at the Kings of Israel Square in Tel Aviv. The assassin, an Israeli ultranationalist named Yigal Amir, radically opposed Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's peace initiative, particularly the signing of the Oslo Accords.

The Tel Aviv Zoo was a zoo founded in 1938 and located in central Tel Aviv. The zoo closed in 1980 and the animals were moved to the Zoological Center of Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan. The Gan Ha'Ir shopping mall now occupies the zoo's site.

Ibn Gabirol Street (Hebrew: רְחוֹב אִבְּן גַבִּירוֹל) (colloquially Ibn Gvirol or Even Gvirol) is a major street in Tel Aviv, Israel. Ibn Gabirol Street is named after the medieval Hebrew poet and philosopher Solomon ibn Gabirol. It carries traffic north and south, and is a busy residential and shopping street. It intersects Marmorek, Laskov, Carlebach and fellow medieval Spaniard Yehuda HaLevi streets on the south, and runs northbound along Rabin Square and Yarkon Park to Shmuel Yosef Agnon Street in the north. The street is also home to Tel Aviv City Hall. Ibn Gabirol Street is a commercial thoroughfare with special appeal to chocolate lovers. Two chocolatiers make fresh chocolates on the premises and three shops import Belgian chocolates which are flown into Israel every two weeks under carefully controlled conditions.

Masaryk Square (Hebrew: כיכר מסריק) is a public square, located in central Tel Aviv, Israel. It is named for Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, the first President of Czechoslovakia.

Al-Mas'udiyya (also known as Summayl), was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jaffa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on December 25, 1947. It was located 5 km northeast of Jaffa, situated 1.5 km south of the al-'Awja River. The village used to be known as Summayl.

The Embassy of Poland in Tel Aviv (Hebrew: השגרירות של הרפובליקה של פולין בתל-אביב) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Poland to the Israel.

Dubnow Garden (alternative spelling Dubnov) (Hebrew: גינת דובנוב) is a public park and garden located in the center of Tel Aviv, Israel, lying at the back of the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center. The park is named for Simon Dubnow, a Jewish Belarusian historian, writer and activist. The street sharing its name (Dubnow Street) makes up the western border of the garden. Dubnow Garden is very popular with young families, students and dog owners. It contains playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment.

The Café Apropo bombing was a Palestinian suicide bombing which occurred on 21 March 1997 in a coffee shop in Tel Aviv. Three women were killed in the attack and 48 were injured.

The Romanian ambassador in Tel Aviv is the official representative of the Government in Bucharest to the Government of Israel.

The Cameri Theater (Hebrew: התיאטרון הקאמרי, HaTeatron HaKameri), established in 1944 in Tel Aviv, is one of the leading theaters in Israel, and is housed at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center.

London Ministores (in the past London Ministore) is a commercial center located in the corner of the streets Sha'ul HaMelekh and Ibn Gabirol in Tel Aviv Center, Israel, in the first floor and the basement floor of "Ne'ot Aviv House". The center was built in 1972 and was designed by the architects Binyamin Idelson, Ya'acov Herts and Gershon Tsipor. Because of ownership changes, the planning of the tower was done separately from the planning of the commercial area by the architect Baruh Meshulam. The center is a complex of mixed uses which includes institutions like Tsavta Club and Bat Dor Band, a commercial center which contains shops and restaurants, and above it two floors of offices. Above these floors there is a residence building of 15 floors which was one of the first residential towers in the country built as a "luxury building". During the construction of the complex one of the construction workers was killed. On May 16, 1993, a fire broke out following a gas leak, and the building was repaired and reinhabited in 1994. Some of the stores in the shopping center have access directly from the street, but most of them can be reached only by entering the doors of the commercial center. This structure has caused a legal conflict between Tel Aviv municipality and the shop owners, about whether the public area inside the commercial area has a status of a street. At the court ruling of the district court in Tel Aviv the municipality's argument was rejected, and it was ruled that the public area is not a street since it is not an open place.
