Osceola is a village in Polk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,765 at the 2020 census. Located mostly within the Town of Osceola, the village sits on the border with Minnesota, separated by the St. Croix River. It is along Wisconsin Highway 35. The Village Board has articulated the 10 most significant assets and given them the name "the Power of 10". They are: 1) Schools; 2) Airport (the Osceola Municipal Airfield); 3) Industrial Park; 4) the St. Croix River; 5) the Cascade Falls; 6) Downtown Businesses; 7) Personalization/Historic Feel of Downtown; 8) access to a major population center (Minneapolis/St. Paul Metropolitan Region); 9) Medical Services; Tie for 10/11) Recreational opportunities and the Braves.

First Baptist Church was designed by Harry Wild Jones and was built in 1910. It served as a church until 2006. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008 for its architectural significance.It is described as "Gothic Revival inspired" and as "Craftsman influenced". It is a one-story church on a 40 by 78 feet (12 m × 24 m) plan, with a square bell tower over its main entrance, and with an unusual polygonal rotunda at its west end. The rotunda area provided space for six separable classroom spaces, consistent with Akron Plan design.This original site of First Baptist Church of Osceola is now owned and operated by River Group Financial, who made significant renovations to the building in the Summer of 2017. The church, formerly named First Baptist Church of Osceola, moved to a new location in Osceola and changed its name to Grace Church. Grace Church owns and operates a childcare business out of their new building named Above All Beginnings Childcare. Due to the nature of the business operating daily in their building on Hwy. M (722 Seminole Ave, Osceola, WI), their pastor's office is located off-site. The office of the pastor of Grace Church is located in the basement of the original First Baptist Church. River Group Financial owns and leases office space in their newly remodeled building. One other business (Coffee Bark) also rents office space in the River Group Financial building.

It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025, in which it is categorized as a local general aviation facility.

The Osceola Depot is a historic railroad station located at 114 Depot Rd. in Osceola, Wisconsin. The station was built in 1916 for the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad. Later, the line would become a part of the Soo Line Railroad and eventually Canadian National. Today, the depot serves as a part of the Minnesota Transportation Museum as the starting point for a heritage railway. Passenger service to Osceola ended on June 25, 1961, when trains 62 and 63 between the Twin Cities and Duluth were discontinued.The depot was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

The Osceola and St. Croix Valley Railway (reporting mark MNTX) is a heritage railroad in Osceola, Wisconsin owned and operated by the Minnesota Transportation Museum. It operates on former Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad ("Soo Line") trackage now owned by the Canadian National Railway.

The community is located south of Taylors Falls near the junction of State Highway 95 (MN 95) and Franconia Trail. The St. Croix River is nearby. Lawrence Creek flows through the community. Nearby places include Shafer, Taylors Falls, Lindstrom, and Scandia. Franconia is home to the Franconia Sculpture Park at the intersection of Highways 8 and 95. Franconia Sculpture Park is an outdoor sculpture park in Franconia, Minnesota, United States, that offers a 50-acre outdoor museum, active artist residency program, and a depth and breadth of community arts programming for a diverse and engaged public. The 50-acre (20 ha) park, with a rotating collection of over 100 contemporary sculptures, and is free and open to the public from 8am-8pm daily. The park draws over 180,000 visitors annually.On September 26, 2020, Franconia Sculpture Park opened Franconia Commons, a lively civic space that includes a visitor center, gift shop, restrooms, the Driscoll Education Center and the Mardag Gallery. Franconia Commons is open Apr. 15 – Nov. 14: Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-5pm; Nov. 15 – Apr. 14: Closed; and is closed on National Holidays. Franconia Sculpture Park is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 8 and Minnesota State Highway 95 near Taylors Falls, in the St. Croix River Valley region of Minnesota.

Dresser is a village in Polk County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 895 at the 2010 census. It is along Wisconsin Highway 35.

Interstate Park comprises two adjacent state parks on the Minnesota–Wisconsin border, both named Interstate State Park. They straddle the Dalles of the St. Croix River, a deep basalt gorge with glacial potholes and other rock formations. The Wisconsin park is 1,330 acres (538 ha) and the Minnesota park is 298 acres (121 ha). The towns of Taylors Falls, Minnesota and St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin are adjacent to the park. Interstate Park is within the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway and the Ice Age National Scientific Reserve. The western terminus of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail is on the Wisconsin side. On the Minnesota side, two areas contain National Park Service rustic style buildings and structures that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway is a federally protected system of riverways located in eastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. It protects 252 miles (406 km) of river, including the St. Croix River (on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border), and the Namekagon River (in Wisconsin), as well as adjacent land along the rivers. The St. Croix National Scenic Riverway is one of the original eight National Wild and Scenic Rivers, largely as a result of legislation by senators Walter Mondale of Minnesota and Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin. The largest scenic riverway east of the Mississippi River, it lies within parts of eight counties in Wisconsin: Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Pierce, Polk, St. Croix, Sawyer, and Washburn; and three in Minnesota: Chisago, Pine, and Washington.

Trollhaugen is a ski resort located in Dresser, Wisconsin. The ski area consists of 30 trails, including 3 terrain parks. In addition to offering ski and snowboard opportunities, Trollhaugen offers 10 lanes of snow tubing during the winter, as well as zip lining and a 120 element aerial challenge course in the summer. Trollhaugen offers NASTAR (National Standard Race) events throughout the season. Trollhaugen is notable for their terrain park, rated the 3rd best in the Midwest Region by TransWorld Snowboarding Magazine. Trollhaugen is also known for being open until 3am on Friday nights in the winter for late night skiing and snowboarding.
