It was built between 1907 and 1909, and is a Victorian Gothic-style church built of stone, brick and limestone. It features and octagonal corner bell tower and Gothic arched windows. The architect was Charles Padgett.Bethany Congregational Church was placed on the National Register of Historic Places for its architectural significance in 2003.

WZZQ was a radio station on 107.5 FM in Terre Haute, Indiana, which broadcast between 1967 and 2001. WZZQ went off the air when its licensee, Contemporary Media, Inc., had all of its licenses cancelled in response to a Federal Communications Commission investigation. The 107.5 frequency remained vacant for nearly 16 years until WYLJ signed on in August 2017.

WZIS-FM (90.7 FM, Z90.7) was formerly WMHD-FM, the student radio station at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. The broadcast studio was located on campus in the basement of the Baur-Sames Bogart Residence Hall, while the antenna was located across the Wabash in West Terre Haute, Indiana. The staff consisted of many dedicated volunteers which include undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty and staff.In 2013, WMHD ceased broadcasting over the air, but continues to stream programming today at http://wmhdradio.org. In 2014, Rose-Hulman sold the broadcast assets of WMHD to Indiana State University. The sale, at a price of $16,465, was consummated on August 15, 2014. Previously, on August 8, 2014, the station changed its call sign to the current WZIS-FM. WMHD radio is still accessible in an online format today at http://wmhdradio.org.

It is known for its interior, which has walls completely covered in seashells forming mosaics and patterns. The small chapel's primary function is as a chapel and shrine in honor of St. Anne.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception on the motherhouse grounds of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is a large Italian Renaissance Revival-style church constructed of Indiana limestone at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana. The cathedral-like structure, which is the fourth church/chapel of the Sisters of Providence since their arrival at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods in 1840. Construction for the church began in 1886; its exterior was completed in 1891 and the interior was completed in 1907. The church was consecrated on October 23, 1907, and continues to serve as a place of daily worship services that are open to the public. The church also houses the shrine and tomb of Saint Mother Théodore Guérin, foundress of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel (1905) was erected in the crypt beneath the church. The church's interior was renovated in 1986, but the sanctuary retains much of its early decoration, including Georgian marble columns, Numidian marble walls, a semi-dome ceiling, Stations of the Cross, stained glass windows, religious paintings by Tadeusz Żukotyński, a sculpture by Harry Breen, and other works of art. Its Casavant Frères pipe organ dates from 1953. Carrara marble from the reredos (high altar) was used to create an altar, lectern, and a presider's chair in 1986.
