WZIS-FM (90.7 FM, Z90.7) was formerly WMHD-FM, the student radio station at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. The broadcast studio was located on campus in the basement of the Baur-Sames Bogart Residence Hall, while the antenna was located across the Wabash in West Terre Haute, Indiana. The staff consisted of many dedicated volunteers which include undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty and staff.In 2013, WMHD ceased broadcasting over the air, but continues to stream programming today at http://wmhdradio.org. In 2014, Rose-Hulman sold the broadcast assets of WMHD to Indiana State University. The sale, at a price of $16,465, was consummated on August 15, 2014. Previously, on August 8, 2014, the station changed its call sign to the current WZIS-FM. WMHD radio is still accessible in an online format today at http://wmhdradio.org.

WZZQ was a radio station on 107.5 FM in Terre Haute, Indiana, which broadcast between 1967 and 2001. WZZQ went off the air when its licensee, Contemporary Media, Inc., had all of its licenses cancelled in response to a Federal Communications Commission investigation. The 107.5 frequency remained vacant for nearly 16 years until WYLJ signed on in August 2017.

The St. Anne Shell Chapel at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, is on the motherhouse grounds of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. It is known for its interior, which has walls completely covered in seashells forming mosaics and patterns. The small chapel's primary function is as a chapel and shrine in honor of St. Anne.

Whitcomb Heights is an unincorporated community in Sugar Creek Township, Vigo County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. It is officially part of West Terre Haute, Indiana. Whitcomb Heights is part of the Terre Haute metropolitan area.

Fort Harrison was a War of 1812 era stockade constructed in Oct. 1811 on high ground overlooking the Wabash River on a portion of what is today the modern city of Terre Haute, Indiana, by forces under command of Gen. William Henry Harrison. It was a staging point for Harrison to encamp his forces just prior to the Battle of Tippecanoe a month later. The fort was the site of a famous battle in the War of 1812, the siege of Fort Harrison in Sept. 1812 that was the first significant victory for the U.S. in the war. The fort was abandoned in 1818 as the frontier moved westward.

White Violet Center for Eco-Justice is a non-profit eco-justice education center focusing on organic agriculture, spiritual ecology and social advocacy. Founded in 1996 by Sister of Providence Ann Sullivan, the center is a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana. The center grew out of the Roman Catholic women religious congregation's commitment to eco-spirituality and sustainability.The center maintains a herd of alpacas, 343 acres (1.39 km2) of state-certified organic farmland, bees, a berry patch, a farmers' market, classified forest and orchards. White Violet Center hosts field trips, workshops and film series to educate both children and adults. The center has hosted a variety of speakers including cosmologist Brian Swimme, beekeeper Günther Hauk, author Judy Cannato and essayist Scott Russel Sanders. White Violet Center is considered an "engaged project" by the Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology. It is also featured in Sarah McFarland Taylor's 2007 book Green Sisters: A Spiritual Ecology.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception on the motherhouse grounds of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is a large Italian Renaissance Revival-style church constructed of Indiana limestone at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana. The cathedral-like structure, which is the fourth church/chapel of the Sisters of Providence since their arrival at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods in 1840. Construction for the church began in 1886; its exterior was completed in 1891 and the interior was completed in 1907. The church was consecrated on October 23, 1907, and continues to serve as a place of daily worship services that are open to the public. The church also houses the shrine and tomb of Saint Mother Théodore Guérin, foundress of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel (1905) was erected in the crypt beneath the church. The church's interior was renovated in 1986, but the sanctuary retains much of its early decoration, including Georgian marble columns, Numidian marble walls, a semi-dome ceiling, Stations of the Cross, stained glass windows, religious paintings by Tadeusz Żukotyński, a sculpture by Harry Breen, and other works of art. Its Casavant Frères pipe organ dates from 1953. Carrara marble from the reredos (high altar) was used to create an altar, lectern, and a presider's chair in 1986.

The Blessed Sacrament Chapel at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana is on the motherhouse grounds of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Its primary function is as a location for Eucharistic adoration by the Sisters of Providence and members of the public.

Foley Hall was a historic building located on the campus of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Sugar Creek Township, Vigo County, Indiana. The building consisted of a three-story, three wing, brick structure built in 1860, fronted by a 4+1⁄2-story, Renaissance Revival style limestone addition built in 1897. The building was topped by a flat roof with a large cupola topped by a spire. It featured a two-story, central pediment supported by Corinthian order columns.: 2–3  Foley Hall was demolished in 1989.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, and was delisted in 2019.
