Anti-Money Laundering Office, Executive Yuan (AMLO; traditional Chinese: 行政院洗錢防制辦公室; simplified Chinese: 行政院洗钱防制办公室; pinyin: Xíngzhèng Yuàn Xǐqián Fángzhì Bàngōngshì) is an agency of the Government of the Republic of China to deal with money laundering matters in Executive Yuan.

The Evergreen Maritime Museum (traditional Chinese: 長榮海事博物館; simplified Chinese: 长荣海事博物馆; pinyin: Zhǎngróng Hǎishì Bówùguǎn) is a maritime museum in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan.

The Museum of Medical Humanities (traditional Chinese: 醫學人文博物館; simplified Chinese: 医学人文博物馆; pinyin: Yīxué Rénwén Bówùguǎn) of National Taiwan University (NTU) is a museum about medical humanities at the NTU College of Medicine campus in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (Chinese: 國立中正紀念堂) is a national monument, landmark and tourist attraction erected in memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, former President of the Republic of China. It is located in Taipei. The monument, surrounded by a park, stands at the east end of Memorial Hall Square. It is flanked on the north and south by the National Theater and National Concert Hall.

Liberty Square (also Freedom Square) is a public plaza covering over 240,000 square meters in the Zhongzheng District of Taipei, Taiwan. It has served as the city's public gathering place of choice since its completion in the late 1970s. The name of the square recalls the important historical role it played in Taiwan's transition from one-party rule to modern democracy in the 1990s.

The NTCH Performing Arts Library (Chinese: 表演藝術圖書館; pinyin: BiaǒYǎnYìShù TúShuGuǎn) was established in 1993 in affiliation with the National Theater and Concert Hall (NTCH). It is a specialized library which collates items relevant to performances held at the NTCH, with over 190 thousand items in its collections. In addition to posters, program notes, and video/audio files related to the programs hosted by the NTCH, the library also possesses numerous books on the performing arts, music scores, and various periodicals, videos, and audio recordings of performing arts. Furthermore, the Performing Arts Library also has a special collections room featuring video and audio items including vinyl recordings donated by the family of the late music critic Mr. Tsao Yeong Kun in 2009. The total number of items in this collection is around 70 thousand. In addition to providing patrons with reading, watching, listening, and borrowing services, the Performing Arts Library regularly hold exhibitions and lectures on a variety of topics that promote the performing arts.

The National Theater (traditional Chinese: 國家戲劇院; simplified Chinese: 国家戏剧院; pinyin: Guójiā Xìjù Yuàn) and National Concert Hall (國家音樂廳; 国家音乐厅; Guójiā Yīnyuè Tīng) are twin performing arts venues at Liberty Square in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. Completed in 1987, the landmarks stand on the south and north sides of the square with Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to the east. Together the venues are referred to by the abbreviation NTCH. The square itself sits near Ketagalan Boulevard, site of the Presidential Office Building, the National Central Library, the National Taiwan Museum, and the 228 Peace Memorial Park.

The Mayor's Residence Art Salon (traditional Chinese: 市長官邸藝文沙龍; simplified Chinese: 市长官邸艺文沙龙; pinyin: Shìzhǎng Guāndǐ Yìwén Shālóng) is a former residence in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The National Central Library (NCL; Chinese: 國家圖書館; pinyin: Guójiā Túshūguǎn) is the national library of the Republic of China (Taiwan), which is located at No. 20, Zhongshan S. Rd., Zhongzheng District, Taipei City 10001, Taiwan. It will soon have a subsidiary called Southern Branch of the National Central Library & National Repository Library.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) (MOFA; Chinese: 中華民國外交部; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Mínguó Wàijiāobù; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tiong-hôa Bîn-kok Gōa-kau-pō͘) is a ministry of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Governed as the cabinet level policy-making body under the Executive Yuan since 1928, the fundamental purpose of the ministry is to promote, expand, and conduct bilateral foreign affairs with other nations. Though the ministry was founded on 1 January 1912 when the Republic was founded, the ministry dates its origins on 11 March 1861 as the Office in Charge of Affairs Concerning All Nations in the Qing dynasty. The current Foreign Minister is Joseph Wu. The MOFA headquartered in Zhongzheng District in Taipei. The agency is in charge of interactions between the Republic of China and foreign countries except the People's Republic of China, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Mainland Affairs Council. It is responsible for formulating foreign policies, decisions, foreign affairs documents, and statements in regard to the ROC. It also negotiates and signs bilateral and multilateral foreign treaties and agreements. The agency also dispatches foreign affairs and TECRO representatives to other countries.

The Taiwan–Hong Kong Economic and Cultural Co-operation Council (THEC; Chinese: 財團法人臺港經濟文化合作策進會; pinyin: Cáituán Fǎrén Tái–Gǎng Jīngjì Wénhuà Hézuò Cèjìn Huì) represents the Government of Taiwan in talks with Hong Kong, through its counterpart the Hong Kong–Taiwan Economic and Cultural Co-operation and Promotion Council (ECCPC).The THEC was set up in May 2010 in a symbiotic relationship with the Hong Kong ECCPC, similar to that between bodies representing Taiwan and mainland China in cross-strait talks, under a slightly hands-off approach that is often known as the "white glove" policy. The two councils, both with participation by high-ranking ministers, are incorporated as legal entities but will be authorised by the two governments to sign pacts. The two bodies were established against a background of strengthened Hong Kong-Taiwan links and trade, which match improved China-Taiwan relations. The THEC has two major committees, one on cultural and one on economic co-operation. This reflects Taiwan's broadbrush approach to its relationship with Hong Kong, and contrasts with the narrower business focus of the Hong Kong side.

The Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) is a cabinet-level administrative agency under the Executive Yuan of the Republic of China in Taiwan. The MAC is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of the cross-strait relations policy which targets mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.The MAC's counterpart body in the People's Republic of China is the Taiwan Affairs Office. Both states officially claim each other's territory, however the Republic of China controls only Taiwan and surrounding islands, and therefore is usually known as "Taiwan", sometimes referred to as the "Free Area" of the Republic of China by the Constitution of the Republic of China. The People's Republic of China controls mainland China as well as Hong Kong, Macau, Hainan, and other islands and is therefore usually known simply as "China". Therefore, the affairs related to the PRC belongs to the MAC, not the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Mainland Affairs Council is administered by a cabinet level Minister. The current Minister is Chiu Tai-san. The council plays an important role in setting policy and development of cross-strait relations and advising the central government. The agency funds and indirectly administers the Straits Exchange Foundation which is the official intermediary with the PRC.
