Milltown, County Kildare

Milltown is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Milltown, County Kildare, Ireland which played a leading role in developing the games in the county.

The Hill of Allen (Cnoc Alúine in Modern Irish, earlier Cnoc Almaine; also Hill of Almu ) is a volcanic hill situated in the west of County Kildare, Ireland, beside the village of Allen. Racing takes place 23 days each year from the end of March until late October. Guided tours of the venue are available outside of race days.

The Mouds Bog (Irish: Portach Mouds) Special Area of Conservation or SAC is a Natura 2000 site based close to the Hill of Allen and to Newbridge, County Kildare, Ireland. The qualifying interests by which it is protected as an SAC are the presence of three habitat types: the presence of active raised bogs (priority habitat), the presence of degraded raised bogs still capable of natural regeneration, and the presence of depressions on peat substrates of Rhynchosporion vegetation.

Sarsfields is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Newbridge in County Kildare, Ireland. The club name is linked to Patrick Sarsfield's castle in the area and the club's colours are green with a white sash. Sarsfields has won 25 Kildare Senior Football Championships, more than any other club in the competition.
