US Post Office—Angola is a historic post office building located at Angola in Erie County, New York. It was designed and built 1938–1939, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. The building is in the Colonial Revival style. The interior features a cast-stone relief sculpture by Leopold Scholz executed in 1940 and titled A Pioneer Woman's Bravery.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

As of the 2010 Census, Angola had a population of 2,127. An unincorporated community known as Angola on the Lake, with a population of 1,675, lies between Angola village and Lake Erie.

It serves students in the Town of Evans and Village of Angola, the Town of Brant and a portion of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. The current principal is Dr. Katy Berner-Wallen, the current assistant principals are Mrs.Julie Schwab, and Mr. Daryl Besant.

Pioneer Cemetery, also known as Evans Center Cemetery, is a historic cemetery located at Evans Center in Erie County, New York. It consists of 10 to 11 rows of burials, with the oldest dating to 1810. The majority of the burials date between 1810 and 1860, with the most recent burial in 1928. Most are marked with simple tablet headstones. It features hilly terrain with a prominent rise at the center of the cemetery.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. Angola on the Lake is in the town of Evans and is west of the village of Angola. The hamlet is located on the eastern shore of Lake Erie.

First Church of Evans Complex is a historic Presbyterian church complex located at Derby in Erie County, New York. The 5.5-acre (2.2 ha) property includes the church, cemeteries, farmhouse (manse), and historic Ingersoll barn with later additions that serves as a community clubhouse. The church is an eclectic Colonial Revival style structure designed by Buffalo architects Mann and Cook and constructed in 1915. The original cemetery includes graves that predate the congregation's founding in 1818.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Derby is located on the shores of Lake Erie in the southwest part of Erie County and 18 miles (29 km) southwest of Buffalo. In the first quarter of the 20th century, many wealthy Buffalo families (i.e. Larkin, Kellogg, Schoellkopf, Mann, Trubee, Esty, Schmidt, Coit) built their summer estates there, including one called "Graycliff" designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the family of Darwin Martin, an executive at the Larkin Soap Company. Also at Derby is the historic First Church of Evans Complex.
