The Baltimore Hebrew Congregation is a Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue located at 7401 Park Heights Avenue, in Pikesville, on the border of Baltimore City and Baltimore County, Maryland, in the United States.

Pikesville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. Pikesville is just northwest of the Baltimore city limits. It is the northwestern suburb closest to Baltimore. The population was 30,764 at the 2010 census. The corridor along Interstate 795, which links Pikesville, Owings Mills and Reisterstown to the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695), contains one of the larger Jewish populations in Maryland.

Mettam Memorial Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church located at Pikesville, Baltimore County, Maryland. It is a 1+1⁄2-story gable-front stone structure measuring 30-by-40-foot (9.1 by 12.2 m) and built in 1835. It was renovated in 1965–1966 by the Pikesville Lions Club. The church sits on an acre of ground which includes a cemetery. The building is named for its first pastor, Joseph Mettam. The congregation joined with five others to found the Maryland Baptist Union Association, later the Baptist State Mission Board of Maryland.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Beth Tfiloh Congregation is a Modern Orthodox congregation and synagogue located at 3300 Old Court Road, in Pikesville, Maryland, in the United States. With approximately 3,500 members, and seating for 1,600 worshippers, Beth Tfiloh claims it is the largest Modern Orthodox congregation in the United States.

Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School is a private community Jewish day school in Baltimore County, Maryland. It encompasses preschool through twelfth grade. The school has one campus in Pikesville. The campus includes the PreSchool, Lower School (Grades K-4), Middle School (Grades 5–8), and the High School (Grades 9-12). Beth Tfiloh operated a second campus in Glyndon which was sold to Shepherd Pratt in 2007. A new 56,000-square-foot (5,200 m2) Lower School complex was constructed on the Old Court campus and was completed in January 2009. Hebrew school is also offered on the Old Court campus.

Samester Parkway Apartments is a historic apartment complex located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The 72-unit complex consists of two symmetrical detached wings, massed as stacked chevrons of six apartment buildings each, that face each other across a central courtyard. They are three-story, red brick, garden apartment structures. The complex was constructed in 1939 in the Art Deco style. It is an early example of Federal Housing Administration-financed garden apartments in Baltimore and is an excellent example of the American translation of European modern architectural style. On May 28, 2004, 3 children were beheaded in the apartments. Samester Parkway Apartments was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Pikesville High School (PHS) is a four-year public high school in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. It is part of the Baltimore County Public Schools consolidated school district. The school was opened in 1964 as Pikesville Senior High School with grades 9–11 and was renamed in the mid-1980s as part of a countywide grade realignment. The classes currently span on 80-minute periods with an A and B day schedule. The school has recently received a $40 million renovation, including a math wing and science wing that replaced a single hallway of rooms and adjacent courtyard. The other courtyard was filled with more learning spaces. The cafeteria was expanded along with asbestos removal. The school is located in the community of Pikesville, just inside Baltimore County to the northwest of Baltimore City. It is located on the corner of Smith Avenue and Labyrinth Road. The school's district borders Towson High School, Dulaney High School, Owings Mills High School, New Town High School, Randallstown High School, Milford Mill High School, and Woodlawn High School. In 2005, Pikesville High was named as one of the top 100 America's best high schools.

Druid Ridge Cemetery is located in Pikesville, Maryland, just outside the city of Baltimore. The Maryland State Police (MSP), officially the Maryland Department of State Police (MDSP), is the official state police force of the U.S. state of Maryland. The Maryland State Police is headquartered at 1201 Reisterstown Road in the Pikesville CDP in unincorporated Baltimore County.

The Pikesville Armory was built in 1903 to support the expansion of the National Guard program. The second-oldest armory in Maryland, it was designed by architects Wyatt and Nolting.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Northwestern High School was a public high school located in Baltimore, Maryland, from 1965 to 2017. When it was built in 1965, it was racially integrated. The school's Track & Field teams from the 1970's and 1980's were some of the state's best, winning multiple MSA A Conference Championships. When plans were announced in 2016 to close the school, alumni and community leaders mounted an ultimately unsuccessful campaign to keep it open. Northwestern High School closed at the end of the 2016–2017 school year, having been merged with Forest Park High School as part of the city school district's "21st Century Schools Building Plan" to consolidate and modernize its schools in response to declining enrollments. Student records are obtainable through BCPS school headquarters.

Fallstaff is a neighborhood in the Upper Park Heights area of Northwest Baltimore, Maryland, and is one of the city's northwesternmost communities. The area, which is mostly middle class, is part of the center of Baltimore's Orthodox Jewish community, and also has a heavy African-American and immigrant population. Fallstaff is home to several Baltimore City Public Schools, including Northwestern High School and Fallstaff Elementary Middle School (formerly Fallstaff Middle School). The main street that run through the area is Park Heights Avenue in Pikesville. Other streets include Fallstaff Road, on which both schools are located, and Clarks Lane. Fallstaff Road is mostly a residential side street on which duplexes, single-family houses, apartments, and condominiums are located. One block of Fallstaff Road is one way in order to reduce traffic from rat running. On the other hand, Clarks lane, which also is lined with similar types of structures, is two ways throughout and handles more traffic. Clarks Lane starts out across from the Reisterstown Road Plaza (sharing a traffic light with the parking lot) and continues to the city/county line, where it changes name to Sanzo Road, and ends shortly thereafter at Smith Avenue.
