The Basilica di San Marino is a Catholic church located in the Republic of San Marino. While the country has a distinct domination of historic religious buildings of Christian faith, the basilica is the main church of the City of San Marino. It is situated on Piazzale Domus Plebis in the northeastern edge of the city, adjacent to the Church of St. Peter. It is dedicated to Saint Marinus, the founder and patron of the Republic.The church has the status of co-cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro. The present church was built in 1836 in place of an earlier one that dated to 7th century. It is built in the Neoclassical style, with a porch of eight Corinthian columns. Relics of St. Marino are enshrined in the church.

The Palazzo Pubblico (‘Public Palace’) is the town hall of the City of San Marino as well as its official Government Building. The overall design is similar to the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, but on a much smaller scale.Located on the site of an ancient building called the Domus Magna Comunis, the current building was designed by the Roman architect Francesco Azzurri and was built between 1884 and 1894. Following a century of minimal alteration, concerns over the structure's safety and functionality warranted a complex restoration project. The intervention was completed by the internationally renowned architect Gae Aulenti and an inauguration ceremony for the newly restored building was held on 30 September 1996.

Statua della Libertà (Italian pronunciation: [ˈstaːtwa della liberˈta; ˈstaːtu.a]) is a statue in Piazza della Libertà, City of San Marino, the capital city of the Republic of San Marino. Translated this means "Statue of Liberty", not to be confused with the statue in New York City, United States. The Statua della Libertà, made in the neoclassical style of white Carrara marble and is located between Parva Domus and the Palazzo Pubblico. It is a work of the sculptor Stefano Galletti and was donated by Countess Otilia Heyroth Wagener from Berlin to the Republic in 1876, because she had become Countess of Acquaviva. The statue symbolizes freedom. Freedom is represented as a warrior advancing fiercely with one hand extended forward and one with a flag. On the head of the statue is a crown with three towers representing the fortified city of San Marino, the symbolic meaning is the reinstatement of freedom. The Statua della Libertà is depicted on the Sammarinese 2 cent euro coins.
