Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Las Cruces, New Mexico)

Las Cruces High School is a public high school in Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States. LCHS was established in 1918 and is the oldest public high school in Las Cruces. As of the 2021-22 school year, it serves 1,830 students from grades 9–12. It is a part of Las Cruces Public Schools.

The Las Cruces bowling alley massacre occurred in Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States, on February 10, 1990. Seven people were shot, five fatally, by two unidentified robbers at the Las Cruces Bowling Alley at 1201 East Amador Avenue. The gunmen shot the victims in an office, then set fire to a desk in the room and left the scene. The case is unsolved. The incident is one of the two deadliest mass shootings in New Mexico history, the other being the 2013 South Valley homicides, which also resulted in the deaths of five people.

The Diocese of Las Cruces (Latin: Dioecesis Las Cruces, Spanish: Diócesis de Las Cruces) is the Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in southern New Mexico in the United States. It is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Santa Fe. The mother church of the Diocese of Las Cruces is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Las Cruces. As of 2023, the bishop is Peter Baldacchino.

The Nestor Armijo House is a historic house in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It was built in 1870 for Bradford Daily and his wife Maricita. In 1877, it was purchased by Nestor Armijo, a merchant and rancher. When his granddaughters were orphaned in 1902, they moved into his house and lived with him until he died in 1911. One of them, Josephine Armijo Gallagher, lived here with her four children, while the other sister, Gertrude Armijo Ascarate, "refurbished the small building containing the old kitchen and dining room for her residence"; she died in the 1970s. The house was designed in the Late Victorian architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 12, 1976.

Electronic Caregiver Tower (formerly Las Cruces Tower, Wells Fargo Tower and First National Bank Tower) is a skyscraper located on 506 Main Street in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It opened in 1962 and was originally planned to be only 7 stories tall. The final height of the tower is 120 ft (37 m) and is 10 stories tall above ground, plus a basement floor below ground. Wells Fargo bought the building in 2001 and renamed it, after acquiring First National Bank's parent company. Healthcare technology company Electronic Caregiver purchased the naming rights to the tower in 2018. The building has 3 elevators (originally Otis, modernized by Dover); there are restrooms on every floor but the lobby and basement.. It is the tallest building in Las Cruces and the tallest building in New Mexico outside of Albuquerque. Tenants include Electronic Caregiver, and offices of both the state and federal public defenders.

Young Park is a park and music venue in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It is located at 1905 E. Nevada Avenue.

The Rio Grande Theatre in Las Cruces, New Mexico was opened on July 29, 1926. The theatre was built by Seale and Dyne and operated by the Central Theatres Corporation of Denver. The first movie shown was the silent movie Mare Nostrum, directed by Rex Ingram. Fox West Coast Theatres bought the Rio Grande Theatre in October 1929. The Fox chain installed sound equipment and showed a sound picture for the October 20, 1929 opening night. The theatre survived both an earthquake and a fire in the early 1930s. It remained in operation until 1997, when it closed due to financial hardship. The theatre was purchased by the Dona Ana Arts Council and restored, opening again in 2005.

The Hadley-Ludwick House is a historic house in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It was built in 1907 for Hiram Hadley, the founder of Las Cruces College, later known as New Mexico State University. The house was designed in the Colonial Revival architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 3, 1991.

Phillips Chapel CME Church (also known as Lincoln High School) is a historic Christian Methodist Episcopal church building at 638 N. Tornillo Street in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It was built in 1912 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.It is a one-story adobe building, about 29 by 38 feet (8.8 m × 11.6 m) in plan, with buttresses against its front. It was described in its National Register nomination as "representative of vernacular church architecture showing a modest influence of local Spanish/Hispano architectural traditions." It underwent an extensive restoration project starting around 2010 and ending in 2016.

Doña Ana County (Spanish: Condado de Doña Ana) is located in the southern part of the State of New Mexico, United States. As of the 2020 U.S. Census, its population was 219,561, which makes it the second-most populated county in New Mexico. Its county seat is Las Cruces, the second-most populous municipality in New Mexico after Albuquerque, with 111,385 as of the 2020 U.S. Census.The county is named for Doña Ana Robledo, who died there in 1680 while fleeing the Pueblo Revolt. Doña Ana County is one of only two counties in the United States to have a diacritical mark in its name, the other being Coös County, New Hampshire. Notably, both Doña Ana County and Coös County lie on short international borders, the former with Mexico and the latter with Canada. Doña Ana County consists of the Las Cruces, NM Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the El Paso–Las Cruces, TX–NM Combined Statistical Area. It borders Luna, Sierra, and Otero counties in New Mexico, and El Paso County, Texas to the east and southeast. The state of Chihuahua, Mexico, borders the county to the south. Construction of an improved barrier on the border was expedited in 2019 with waivers of environmental and other laws. The waivers applied to 27 laws, including protection of endangered species, archaeological sites, and historic places.Being 67.3% Hispanic in 2020, Doña Ana is New Mexico's largest majority-Hispanic county.

The William Conroy Honors Center, at the New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico is a historic building which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1907 as a Young Men's Christian Association building. It was designed by architects Trost & Trost. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 with the seemingly-odd name of Air Science; it then served as the Air Science building for NMSU. It is a three-story California Mission Revival-style masonry and stucco building with a French tile hipped roof. It has an arched entryway. It was built with a brick exterior but that was later plastered over. It was used first as a YMCA, and later taken over by NMSU and used as its Air Science building.It is located on the northeast corner of N. Horseshoe and Espina St., on the NMSU campus.The building was retrofitted with an elevator in 2001–02, in an addition creating a new East entrance to the building.It is listed as Building #35 in NMSU's inventory of buildings, as the William B. Conroy Honors Center, abbreviated WCHC, at 2745 South Espina St. The university also has an Air Test facility and a Wind Tunnel/Research building.

The Nason House, formerly the University President's House, is a historic house in Las Cruces, New Mexico, U.S. It was constructed as the official residence of the president of New Mexico State University. It was built on the NMSU campus in 1918. It was designed in the Prairie School architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 16, 1989.In 1980, a new residence was constructed for the University president, and this structure was refurbished to accommodate the Center for Latin American and Border Studies. In 1987, the building was renamed, dedicating it to Willoughby Nason, a university graduate student who died in 1979 before completing his thesis.
