Upper Nyack Firehouse, built for the Empire Hook & Ladder Company, No. 1, is a historic fire station located at Upper Nyack in Rockland County, New York. It was completed in July 1887 and is a two-story brick structure in the Queen Anne style. It features a corner bell tower and center gable above the main engine door.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is located in the Van Houten's Landing Historic District.

First Methodist Episcopal Church of Nyack, also known as Old Stone Church, is a historic Methodist Episcopal church on North Broadway, south of the junction of North Broadway and Birchwood Avenue in Upper Nyack, Rockland County, New York. It was built in 1812-1813 and is a one-story, three by two bay, sandstone building on a stone foundation. It features a moderately pitched gable roof. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. It was purchased by the Village of Upper Nyack in 2007 and has since been used as a village meeting place as well as being made available for private events.

Brookside, also known as Lochburn, is a historic home located at Upper Nyack, Rockland County, New York. It was built about 1865, as a 2+1⁄2-story Italian Villa style frame residence. It was enlarged and modified about 1890 and Colonial Revival style design elements were added. The house features a three-story tower, sweeping verandah, and porte cochere. Also on the property is a large carriage house (c. 1890).: 3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Edward Hopper Birthplace and Boyhood Home, also known as the Edward Hopper House Art Center, is an art center and historic home located at 82 North Broadway, 3 1/2 blocks north of Main Street, Nyack in Rockland County, New York. It is a 2-story, side hall, mid-19th-century Greek Revival–style dwelling with a 2+1⁄2-story, Queen Anne–style addition. It was the home of noted artist Edward Hopper (1882–1967) from the time of his birth until he moved to Manhattan in 1910. He held title to the house until his death.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Shadowcliff, also known as the Fellowship of Reconciliation Headquarters, is a historic home located at Upper Nyack, Rockland County, New York. It was built in 1921, and is a large two-story, Classical Revival style masonry dwelling. The 44-room residence features three porticoes, Palladian windows, and has a clay tile roof. It has housed the headquarters of the Fellowship of Reconciliation since 1957.: 3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Upper Nyack is a village incorporated in 1872 in the town of Clarkstown, Rockland County, New York, United States. It is located north of the village of Nyack, east of Valley Cottage, south of Rockland Lake State Park, and west of the Hudson River. It is a suburb of New York City lying approximately 15 miles (24 km) north of the Manhattan boundary near the west bank of the Hudson River, situated north of South Nyack, east of Central Nyack, south of Upper Nyack, and southeast of Valley Cottage.Nyack had a population of 6,765 as of the 2010 census.

Tappan Zee Playhouse, built in 1911 as the Broadway Theater, was a historic theatre located at Nyack in Rockland County, New York. It consisted of an early 20th-century lobby and theatre structure in front and stage house in rear. The stage house was a large, converted 19th century stable. It was demolished in April 2004.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church is a historic United Methodist church in Nyack, Rockland County, New York. It is a Romanesque church built in two sections over a 17-year period starting in 1894. It is constructed of rusticated limestone with brownstone trim.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
