Adas Israel is located in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C. It is the largest Conservative synagogue in the city. President Ulysses S. Grant and acting Vice President Thomas W. Ferry attended the dedication of its first building in 1876, the first time a sitting United States President had attended a synagogue service. The original structure is the oldest surviving synagogue building in Washington, D.C., and today is known as the Lillian & Albert Small Jewish Museum.

Park & Shop, also known as Sam's Park and Shop, in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C., was one of the first neighborhood shopping centers (or strip malls). It opened in 1930 with 11 tenants and was anchored by two grocery stores: an A&P and a Piggly Wiggly. The center is still in operation, currently anchored by Target. It was built in an L shape with dedicated parking space for shoppers in the front, a novelty at the time. This stood in contrast to the limited availability and harried experience of street parking in front of stores lining busy streets. The original developer was Shannon & Luchs and the architect was Arthur B. Heaton. Stores mentioned in a 1930 ad were: The center still exists, anchored by a Target store. It is considered a model or "template" for future such neighborhood centers, or even "a pioneering example of strip-mall architecture", and for that reason has been subject to historic preservation efforts. It was sold in 2020 to Asana Partners for $39 million.

Cleveland Park station is an underground rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Washington Metro. Located in the neighborhood of the same name in Washington DC, it opened on December 5, 1981.

The Uptown Theater, known as The Uptown (formerly Cineplex Odeon Uptown or AMC Loews Uptown 1), was a single-screen movie theater in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Opened in 1936, it hosted the world premieres of such movies as 2001: A Space Odyssey and Jurassic Park. It closed in March 2020.Its screen was the largest commercial movie theater screen in the DC Metro area outside of the Smithsonian Institution. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.

The Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library is a branch of the District of Columbia Public Library in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C. It is located at 3310 Connecticut Avenue NW. A library building opened on the site in 1953 and was replaced in 2018 by a larger facility that was built at a cost of $19.7 million. The new library's design garnered praise and plaudits; DCist described it as "strikingly stylish" and it won the 2019 Urban Catalyst award from the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Sedgwick Gardens, located at 3726 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, is an apartment building on the southwest corner of Connecticut Avenue and Sedgwick Street in Northwest Washington D.C. It is located two blocks from the Cleveland Park Metro. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and represents a significant example of an Art Deco porte-cochere architecture in Washington.

3901 Connecticut Avenue NW is a six-story Tudor Revival apartment building in the North Cleveland Park (also known as Van Ness) neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Designed by architect George T. Santmyers, 3901 Connecticut Avenue was built in 1927 for developer Harry Bralove. The building was added to the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites on March 28, 1996, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 11, 1997.

Cloverdale, also known as Pierce Shoemaker House, is an historic Colonial Revival home, located at 2600 and 2608 Tilden Street, Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Forest Hills neighborhood. It is now known as the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy.

The Kingle Valley Bridge, officially known as the Connecticut Avenue Bridge, is an Art Deco steel-arch bridge located near the National Zoological Park on Connecticut Avenue, Northwest in Washington, D.C. The bridge crosses Klingle Valley, running from Macomb Street to Devonshire Place and connecting the Cleveland Park and Woodley Park neighborhoods.The bridge replaced an earlier one built around 1890 by real estate developer and sitting U.S. Representative Francis Newlands, D-Nevada, as part of his effort to create the streetcar suburb of Chevy Chase, Maryland.The bridge was designed by architect Paul Philippe Cret and engineer Ralph Modjeski. It was built in 1931–1932. There is no direct connection between Connecticut Avenue and Klingle Road in the narrow valley below. The bridge features two historic lights on each corner. A major rehabilitation of the bridge that began in 2005 included restored ornamental lanterns, refurbished masonry, and additional street lights. The restoration project was completed in 2008.On May 21, 2004, the bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is a contributing property to the Cleveland Park Historic District.

The Tregaron Conservancy refers to a 13 acre privately owned and managed historic woodland garden nature park in Northwest, Washington, D.C. and the nonprofit organization that manages it. It is an urban green space in Cleveland Park, bounded in the north by Macomb Stream and private residences, in the south and east by the Klingle Valley Trail which connects to Rock Creek Park, and to the west by the Washington International School and Twin Oaks estate. The conservancy is part of former Tregaron Estate, which was formerly part of the neighboring estate Twin Oaks. Landscape architect Ellen Biddle Shipman, designed a “wilderness garden, with streams and bridges and paths, and native plants and dappled sunshine" planted with specimens that mimic the natural surroundings. An heir to the estate recollected the grounds as "masses of daffodils in the spring and masses of azaleas and a little babbling brook and arched bridges under which I'm sure trolls lived." The cultural landscape report for Tregaron identified 6 distinct landscaping regions designed by Shipman: Cow Pasture & Oak - a meadow south of the Klingle stream, on the southeast corner of the conservancy Causeway & Pond Valley - containing Klingle stream running from Twin Oaks in the east into the lily pond and westward until it passes under the Klingle Valley Trail Drive and Meadows - the driveway running from Macomb to Klingle Valley roads and two adjacent meadows, a sloped one to the north and a flat one to the east Northeast Woodland, Stream and Trails - containing Macomb stream, forested hills, and paths connecting the Drive and Meadows to Causeway & Pond Valley Macomb Entry & Woodland Slope - wooded hill between the Macomb entrance and Hilltop, Gardens & House Hilltop, Gardens & House - on the west end of the property (Not part of the conservancy. Owned and managed by the Washington International School.) The conservancy hosts a diverse calendar of events, including tours of the conservancy, including ones focused on the site’s history, geology, birds, trees, as well as concerts, forrest bathing, Tai Chi, an Easter Egg hunt, and a discussion group for descendants of Holocaust survivors. The conservancy has formed volunteer partnerships with the Washington International School and a local gardening group.
