The Magyar Műszaki és Közlekedési Múzeum (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈmɒɟɒr ˈmyːsɒki ˈeːʃ ˈkøzlɛkɛdeːʃi ˈmuːzɛum]; "Hungarian Technical and Transportation Museum"), still often referred to by its former name, Közlekedési Múzeum ("Transportation Museum"), is a museum in Budapest, Hungary. It is one of Europe's oldest transportation collections. The museum has a unique collection of locomotives and railway cars on a 1:5 scale. This means that a locomotive of, for example, 10 m length is reproduced with all details in a 2 m length model. The models represent a wide range of railway technology. The museum shows also a locomotive and wagon in real size with a railway station of the 1900s. Other parts of the museum are shown: The history of road traffic: horse-drawn and machine-driven vehicles, road and bridge building with a collection of old cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. The history of sailing. Sailing from the prehistoric ages, the history of Hungarian boat manufacturing is shown by models. Deeper in the park there is a permanent exhibition about the history of flight and space flight, including original Hungarian and foreign aircraft, including a Junkers F-13, the first all-metal transport aircraft. It also has the cabin of the first Hungarian astronaut, Bertalan Farkas. The exhibition also demonstrates the development of engines and instruments and modern rocket engineering techniques. The history of city transportation shows the public traffic in Buda and Pest before the appearance of trams and omnibuses. The museum also owns the collection of planes in Aeropark, an aviation museum dedicated to the history of Hungarian civil aviation, next to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport.

The Teleki Blanka Gymnasium is a gymnasium located on 37 Ajtósi Dürer sor in the neighbourhood of Városliget in the XIVth district of Budapest, Hungary. The school is one of the oldest schools in the capital city of Hungary.

Millenáris Sporttelep is a multi-use velodrome in Budapest, Hungary. It is currently used mostly for cycling events but has also been used for football matches. The venue has a capacity of 8,130 spectators and it opened in 1896. The track is 412 m (451 yd) and made of concrete.

Kisstadion (lit. 'Small Stadium') is an outdoor stadium in Budapest, Hungary, which is primarily used for ice hockey, but due to its field dimensions, it is usable for any other sports except association football.

The City Park (Hungarian: Városliget; German: Stadtwäldchen) is a public park close to the centre of Budapest, Hungary. It is a 0.9-by-0.6-mile (1,400 by 970 m) rectangle, with an area of 302 acres (1.2 km2), located in District XIV of Budapest, between Hungária körút, Ajtósi Dürer sor, Vágány utca and Dózsa György út. Its main entrance is at Heroes' Square (Hősök tere), one of Hungary's World Heritage sites.

The Hungarian Ice Hockey Hall of Fame, which honours players, coaches, referees and other individuals who have made important contributions to the sport of hockey in Hungary, was founded and the first members were inducted on 16 April 2011. The awards were given by International Ice Hockey Federation president René Fasel one day prior to the beginning of the 2011 IIHF World Championship Division I, that was held in Budapest, Hungary. A total of 22 prizes were handed over, divided between eleven living legends and as many former stars, who have been deceased and were honoured posthumously. The memorial of the Hall of Fame members were inaugurated on 24 February 2012 at the City Park Ice Rink, one of the oldest ice rinks in Europe, which renovation finished just two months earlier.

Puskás Aréna is a football stadium in the 14th district (Zugló) of Budapest, Hungary. The stadium's construction started in 2017 and was finished before the end of 2019. It is an all-seater with a capacity of 67,215. The Hungarian Football Federation meets all UEFA and FIFA stadium requirements, and was awarded 4-stars by the UEFA. The stadium is built in the place of the former Ferenc Puskás Stadium whose demolition was completed in October 2016. Both stadiums were named in honour of the former national team captain Ferenc Puskás (1927–2006).

The Geological Museum of Budapest or Hungarian Institute of Geology and Geophysics is the main museum of geology in Hungary. It is located on the Stefánia út in the western part of Pest. The building was originally the home of the Hungarian Geological Society, which was established in 1869. The building was designed by Ödön Lechner in 1896. It still houses the Geological Institute of Hungary. Its collection consists of minerals, prehistoric footprints, general information on Hungarian geology and its history, and an exhibition dedicated to Ödön Lechner.

Mexikói út (lit. Mexican street) is the northern terminus of the yellow M1 (Millennium Underground) line of the Budapest Metro. Located in the Zugló district of Pest, the station was opened on 30 December 1973 when the line was extended from the original terminus at Városliget (City Park).Like all Millenium Underground line stations, Mexikói út has two side platforms, one serving each direction of travel. To the north of the station are a pair of sidings and the access to the line's depot, and arriving trains stop to set down passenger at the northbound platform, pull forward into one of the sidings to reverse, and then pick up passengers at the southbound platform. The line's depot lies at ground level to the east of the station, and is accessed by a ramped track from the underground station. The depot also has a track access to the city's tram network.

The Stalin Monument was a statue of Joseph Stalin in Budapest, Hungary. Completed in December 1951 as a "gift to Joseph Stalin from the Hungarians on his seventieth birthday", it was torn down on October 23, 1956 by enraged anti-Soviet crowds during Hungary's October Revolution.

Vajdahunyad Castle (Hungarian: Vajdahunyad vára) is a castle in the City Park of Budapest, Hungary. It is a copy of Hunyad Castle, known as Corvin Castle (Romanian: Castelul Corvinilor), in Hunedoara, Romania. It was built in 1896 as part of the Millennial Exhibition which celebrated the 1,000 years of Hungary since the Hungarian Conquest of the Carpathian Basin in 895. The castle was designed by Ignác Alpár to feature copies of several landmark buildings from different parts of the Kingdom of Hungary, especially the Hunyad Castle in Transylvania (now in Romania). As the castle contains parts of buildings from various time periods, it displays different architectural styles: Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque. Originally, it was made from cardboard and wood, but it became so popular that it was rebuilt from stone and brick between 1904 and 1908. Today, it houses the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture, the biggest agricultural museum in Europe.The statue of the chronicler Anonymus (by Miklós Ligeti) is also displayed in the castle court. Anonymus lived in the 12th century (his true identity is unknown, but he was a notary of Béla III of Hungary), who wrote the chronicle Gesta Hungarorum (Deeds of the Hungarians). The external wall of the castle contains a bust of Béla Lugosi, a Hungarian-American actor famous for portraying Count Dracula in the original 1931 film.

The Ferenc Puskás Stadium (Hungarian: Puskás Ferenc Stadion), or formerly People's Stadium (Népstadion) was a multi-purpose stadium in the 14th district (Zugló) of Budapest, Hungary. It was situated between the Puskás Ferenc Stadion and the Keleti pályaudvar metro stations. It was used mainly for football matches. The stadium, which was an all-seater, in the 2000s had a safe capacity of 38,652, though its original capacity exceeded 100,000. The stadium was closed in 2016 and demolished in 2017 to give place to the Puskás Aréna.
