The Whaley House is an 1857 Greek Revival style residence, a California Historical Landmark, and museum located in Old Town, San Diego, California. It is currently maintained by Historic Tours of America, Inc (HTA). The Whaley House was the home of Thomas Whaley and his family. At various times it also housed Whaley's general store, San Diego's second county courthouse, and the first commercial theater in San Diego. The house has "witnessed more history than any other building in the city".

Chapel of the Immaculate Conception in San Diego, California in San Diego County, is a California Historical Landmark No. 49 listed on March 6, 1935. The Chapel of the Immaculate Conception was built in 1850 as the adobe house of John Brown. The house was converted to a Church building by Don José Aguirre in 1858. From 1866 to 1907 missionary Father Antonio D. Ubach was parish priest at Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. The Works Progress Administration rebuilt the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception in 1937. The Chapel of the Immaculate Conception is located at 3950 Conde Street in Old Town, San DiegoA Historical Plaque placed was placed at Chapel of the Immaculate Conception by the State Department of Parks and Recreation working with City of San Diego; San Diego County Historical Days Assaction, and Squibob Chapter of the E Clampus Vitus on September 24, 1988.

The Casa de Estudillo, also known as the Estudillo House, is a historic adobe house in San Diego, California, United States. It was constructed in 1827 by José María Estudillo and his son José Antonio Estudillo, early settlers of San Diego and members of the prominent Estudillo family of California, and was considered one of the finest houses in Mexican California. It is located in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, and is designated as both a National and a California Historical Landmark in its own right.Besides being one of the oldest surviving examples of Spanish architecture in California, the house gained much prominence by association with Helen Hunt Jackson's wildly popular 1884 novel Ramona. The Casa de Estudillo is one of three National Historic Landmarks in Southern California that were closely tied to Ramona, a novel of Californio life shortly after the American acquisition of California; the other two are Rancho Camulos and Rancho Guajome.

San Diego Viejo Plaza, (San Diego Old Plaza), also called Plaza de Las Armas (Plaza of the Cannon), Old Town Plaza, Washington Square, is a historical site in San Diego, California. San Diego Viejo Plaza site is a California Historical Landmark No. 63, listed on December 5, 1932. The plaza (town square) was the center of Pueblo de San Diego founded in 1835 in Alta California.

Exchange Hotel, also called Tebbett's Place was is a historical building in San Diego, California built in 1851. The Exchange Hotel site is a California Historical Landmark No. 491, listed on October 10, 1951. The Exchange Hotel was built by George P. Tebbetts and his partner Philip Hooff. Tebbetts became the third mayor of San Diego in 1852. Lieutenant George H. Derby stand at the Exchange Hotel when he arrived in San Diego to plan the Derby Dike in 1853. Soon after Exchange Hotel opened on June 29, 1851, a group of Free Masons had a meeting. This was the first Freemasonry meeting in San Diego. The group started a lodge which became San Diego Lodge No. 35, F. & A.M., the oldest lodge in Southern California. Exchange Hotel became the Franklin House, when a third story was added to the Exchange Hotel by Messers Franklin. Joseph Mannasse owned the Franklin House for sometime. Racine & Laramie Tobacconist built both the Exchange Hotel and the Franklin House. The Franklin House was lost in an April 1872 fire, the site has been a vacant lot for sometime.

Casa de Pedrorena, also called Altamirano-Pedrorena House is a historical Adobe building in San Diego, California built in 1869. The Casa de Lopez site is a California Historical Landmark No. 70, listed on December 6, 1932. Casa de Pedrorena was the home of Miguel de Pedrorena. In 1838 Miguel de Pedrorena arrived in San Diego Viejo. Don Miguel was a member of the California Constitutional Conventions at Monterey, California in 1849. Monterey Convention of 1849 was the first California Constitutional Convention to take place, a major decidion of the convention was to ban slavery and set state boundaries. Pedrorena sister, Isabel de Altamirano, received the house in January 1871. Isabel de Altamirano married Jose Antonio Altamirano and they raised their family here. Jose Antonio Altamirano was born in 1835 in La Paz, Baja California. Jose Altamirano arrived in San Diego in 1849. In San Diego he did some mining and raised cattle in San Diego and Baja California. The house's current address, 2616 San Diego Ave in Old Town, San Diego. Casa de Pedrorena is the newest and last of Old Town San Diego's adobe houses.

Casa de Stewart, also called La Casa de Machado y Stewart is a historical adobe building in San Diego, California built in 1835. The Casa de Stewart site is a California Historical Landmark No. 73, listed on December 6, 1932. Casa de Stewart was built by José Manuel Machado, pioneer leatherjacket company soldier of the New Spain Army stationed in San Diego. He arrived at the San Diego Presidio in 1782 when he retired. Machado built the house for his daughter Rosa, she married Jack Stewart. Stewart from Maine and was pilot boat operator in Maine. The Stewarts enlarged the house. Carmen Stewart Meza lived in the house for 50 years. She moved out in after a 1966 flood. Casa de Stewart was acquired by California State Parks, who had it restored to a museum, Casa de Machado y Stewart Museum. The house's cuurent address, is 2707 Congress street, at Congress and Mason Streets, in Old Town, San Diego. José Manuel Machado house, Casa de Machado y Silvas built in 1832 is also a California Historical Landmark.

Casa de Cota site in San Diego, California in San Diego County, is a California Historical Landmark No. 75 listed on December 6, 1932. The Casa de Cota House was built by Juan Cota or Ramon Cota at what is now Twiggs Street and Congress Street. The adobe house was removed by the United States Army to make room for an Army training camp used in World War II. The training camp was temporary and the site is now a parking lot. A California Historical sign is at the Old Town, San Diego parking lot.

San Diego University for Integrative Studies, also referred to as SDUIS, is a small, private university established in 1999 in San Diego, California, United States. SDUIS campus is located at 3900 Harney St. in Old Town, San Diego. It also offers a Distance Learning Program. The school offers certificate, bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees.

Fort Stockton, later called Fort Dupont was a historical fortress in San Diego, California built in 1828. The Fort Stockton site is a California Historical Landmark No. 54, listed on December 6, 1932.

Casa de Carrillo House in San Diego, California in San Diego County, is a California Historical Landmark No. 74 listed on December 6, 1932. The Casa de Carrillo House is the oldest residence in San Diego. The Casa de Carrillo House was built by Presidio of San Diego Comandante Francisco María Ruiz (1754–1839). Ruiz was the leader of the Presidio from 1809 to 1827. The Casa de Carrillo house was built next to his pear orchard planted in 1808. The Adobe house was used by his relative and soldier, Joaquín Carrillo, and his family. Joaquín Carrillo, daughter Josefa Carrillo, ran away and sailed from the home and eloped to Chile with Henry Delano Fitch in April 1829. Francisco Ruiz died in 1839, when Joaquín Carrillo died, his son Ramon Carrillo sold the house and land to Lorenzo Soto. The house and land was sold a few times, it was poor condiction when sold in 1932 to George Marston and associates. George Marston and associates restored the house. After the restoration George Marston and associates donated the house and land to the City of San Diego. The City of San Diego turned the house and land into the Presidio Hills Golf Course. A California Historical marker is at the Old Town, San Diego Presidio Hills Golf Course, NE of Juan Street on Wallace Street. The Marker was place there in 1994 by State Department of Parks and Recreation working with the San Diego City Department of Parks and Recreation and Squibob Chapter, E Clampus Vitus.

Mason Street Schoolhouse is a historical building in San Diego, California built in 1865. The Mason Street School District No. 1 is a California Historical Landmark No. 538, listed on September 14, 1955. The Mason Street School is the First Publicly owned School in San Diego. The school was used from 1865 to 1872. The Schoolhouse was moved once. For sometime in the 1940s to 1952 the Schoolhouse was a tamale restaurant, which operated out of the building until 1952. In 1952 San Diego County Historical Days Association acquired the Schoolhouse. The State of California acquired the Schoolhouse in 2013. The school building is now the Mason Street School Museum in Old Town San Diego at 3966 Mason Street. The school was restored in 1955.The Schoolhouse is 4-feet by 30-feet, 720 square feet with a 10-foot ceiling. The first teacher was Mary Chase Walker (1828–1899) born in Massachusetts. Walker graduated in 1861 from State Normal School in Framingham, Massachusetts and had a job teaching in Massachusetts. At the end of the American Civil War in 1865 Walker came to San Francisco, not finding a job there she travelling to San Diego. She took the teaching job for $65 a month (about $1,224.00 a month in today's dollars). Walker had 35 students of ages 4 to 17 in the single One room schoolhouse. Walker had the job for 11 months, when Walker married the school superintendent Ephraim Morse. A historical marker was place as the site by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and The Historical Markers Committee in 1955.
