Hırka-i Şerif Mosque (Ottoman Turkish: خرقه شریف جامعي, Turkish: Hırka-i Şerif Camii) is a historic mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. It takes its name from a relic, the mantle of Muhammad, which is preserved in the mosque.

The Nışançı Mehmed Pasha Mosque (Turkish: Nışançı Mehmed Paşa Camii) is a late 16th-century Ottoman mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Ebezâde Abdullah Efendi Fountain (Turkish: Ebezâde Abdullah Efendi Çeşmesi), also known as the Ebezâde Fountain or the Hatice Hanım Fountain, is a fountain located in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey. It was commissioned by Hatice Hanım, the wife of Ebezâde Abdullah Efendi, in 1722 or 1723. In 1882 or 1883, it was restored in the name of Köstenceli al-Hajj Ismail Agha and rebuilt in brick. A restoration inscription was added above the original construction inscription. According to a 1943 publication, the fountain was no longer functional at that time and has remained out of use since then. It is located in the Atikali neighborhood. Most of its mirror stone, nozzle, basin, and seating platforms are buried underground. Except for the mirror stone and construction inscription, the fountain consists of a brick wall flanked on both sides by pilasters. Some brick rows on the façade protrude from the rest of the wall. The marble construction inscription above the mirror stone is surrounded on the sides and top by a border made of tiles, some of which still survive today. The inscription text, divided into eight cartouches, is arranged in two columns and four lines. The rectangular marble restoration inscription, placed above the lower border and containing two lines of text, is no longer extant.

Vasat Atik Ali Pasha Mosque (Turkish: Vasat Atik Ali Paşa Camii), also known as Zincirlikuyu Mosque (Turkish: Zincirlikuyu Camii) or Karagümrük Mosque, is an Ottoman mosque located in the Karagümrük neighbourhood of the Fatih district in Istanbul, Turkey, on Fevzipaşa Street. Sultan Bayezid II's grand vizier Hadım Atik Ali Pasha, after whom the mosque is named, ordered its construction in 1502, and it was completed in 1512, one year after the grand vizier's death. The mosque is one of only two mosques in Istanbul with multiple domes, the other being Piyale Pasha Mosque, both having six domes. The mosque was known as Zincirlikuyu Mosque for a long time because of its location next to a well known as Zincirlikuyu (zincirli "chained", kuyu "well"). The minaret of the mosque collapsed in June 1648 after an earthquake. In 2013, repairs began on the minaret at a cost of 2.2 million TL ($1.03 million), expected to be completed in 2014. The Health Museum is a museum located in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. The museum was founded by Hikmet Hamdi in 1918 and first exhibited tables and figures related to venereal diseases, before expanding to infectious and social diseases. Since its reorganizations in 1928 and 1939, the museum now has physiology and anatomy departments to help primary and secondary school students with the study of cancer, tuberculosis, mental health, nutritional diseases, dental health, and infectious diseases.

Fatih (Turkish pronunciation: [ˈfaːtih]) is a conservative district of and a municipality (belediye) in Istanbul, Turkey, and home to almost all of the provincial authorities (including the governor's office, police headquarters, metropolitan municipality and tax office) but not the courthouse. It encompasses the peninsula coinciding with old Constantinople. In 2009, the district of Eminönü, which had been a separate municipality located at the tip of the peninsula, was once again remerged into Fatih because of its small population. Fatih is bordered by the Golden Horn to the north and the Sea of Marmara to the south, while the Western border is demarked by the Theodosian wall and the east by the Bosphorus Strait.

Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University (FSMVU) is a foundation university located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was established in 2010 by the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han Foundation and several other historical foundations, under the supervision of the Turkish General Directorate of Foundations. It is one of two universities directly affiliated with the General Directorate of Foundations, alongside Bezmialem Vakıf University. The university offers undergraduate and graduate education across several faculties and institutes, with over 7,000 students and more than 6,500 alumni as of 2022.

Emniyet—Fatih is an underground station on the M1 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located in west-central Fatih under Adnan Menderes Boulevard. Emniyet—Fatih was opened on 3 September 1989 as part of the first rapid transit line in Istanbul and Turkey and is one of the six original stations on the M1 line. The station services several important municipal buildings such as the Istanbul Police Headquarters, Fatih Municipal Building and the Istanbul Tax Offices Directorate.

Hirami Ahmet Pasha Mosque (Turkish: Hırami Ahmet Paşa Mescidi) is a former Eastern Orthodox church converted into a mosque by the Ottomans. The small church, one among the 36 dedicated to Saint John the Baptist in Constantinople, was part of a monastery bearing the same name. Its full name was Saint John the Forerunner by-the-Dome (Greek: Ἃγιος Ἰωάννης ὁ Πρόδρομος ἐν τῷ Τρούλλῳ, Hagios Ioannis ho Prodromos en tō Trullō). It is the smallest Byzantine church of Constantinople still extant and has never been studied.

Çarşamba is a small part of the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey, close to the Fatih Mosque. It is one of the most conservative areas of the city. According to the 17th-century Ottoman traveler Evliya Çelebi, the district takes its name from the town of Çarşamba on the Black Sea coast since, after the Fall of Constantinople in 1453, this part of the city was repopulated with people from Çarşamba. However, others think it acquired its name from the large Wednesday (Çarşamba in Turkish) Market held here every week. The neighbourhood is home to two Byzantine churches that were converted into mosques after the Conquest of Constantinople in 1453: the Fethiye and Hirami Ahmet Pasha mosques. Çarşamba is also home to the Sultan Selim Mosque, built by Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent for his father Yavuz Sultan Selim (Selim the Grim in English) whose shrine stands in the grounds. The mosque is usually attributed to Mimar Sinan although there is no record of it in the official list of his works. it was a favourite with the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier who admired its simplicity of form. Here, too, is the İsmail Ağa Mosque, built in 1724, and named after a Şeyhülislam named İsmail Efendi (1645-1725). Its congregation has a particular reputation for conservatism.

Fenâri Îsâ Mosque (full name in Turkish: Molla Fenâri Îsâ Câmîi), in Byzantine times known as the Lips Monastery (Greek: Μονὴ τοῦ Λιβός), is a mosque in Istanbul, made of two former Eastern Orthodox churches.

The Church of the Holy Apostles (Greek: Ἅγιοι Ἀπόστολοι, Agioi Apostoloi; Turkish: Havariyyun Kilisesi), also known as the Imperial Polyándreion (imperial cemetery), was a Greek Eastern Orthodox church in Constantinople, capital of the Eastern Roman Empire. The first structure dates to the 4th century, though future emperors would add to and improve upon it. It was second in size and importance only to the Hagia Sophia among the great churches of the capital. When Constantinople fell to the Ottomans in 1453, the Holy Apostles briefly became the seat of the Ecumenical Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church. Three years later the dilapidated edifice was abandoned, and the patriarchate was moved to the Theotokos Pammakaristos Church. In 1461, the church of the Holy Apostles was demolished by the Ottomans to make way for the Fatih Mosque.
