Chalmers United Church in Kingston, Ontario, Canada is a United Church of Canada church. It is located on a triangular property at the intersection of Clergy, Barrie and Earl streets, immediately bordering the north-east corner of Queen's University. It is one of four churches located within 600m along Clergy Street (the other three are St. Mary's Cathedral, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and Queen Street United Church). It is named after Thomas Chalmers.

The Queen's School of Medicine is a unit of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's University at Kingston responsible for research, as well as undergraduate and graduate education in Medicine. The educational program leading to the MD degree is central to the purpose of the faculty. It must meet all the requirements for accreditation and prepare graduates for postgraduate training leading to licensure and certification by the Ontario College of Family Physicians or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. The Sydenham district for census purposes is bounded by Lake Ontario to the south and east, by Princess Street to the north and Barrie Street to the west. These boundaries do not coincide with the Sydenham Ward boundaries for city councillor elections as they include parts of the downtown main street. The Sydenham neighbourhood has a mix of business and retail uses on its east and north sides as it approaches Princess Street, which is Kingston's primary downtown business district. Many of Kingston's historic limestone structures can be found in the Sydenham neighbourhood. St. Andrew's Church is a Presbyterian Church in Kingston, Ontario. The church opened for service in 1822. St. Andrew's was the centre of Presbyterianism in Upper Canada, and the church was instrumental in the establishment of Queen's College, later to become Queen's University.

The Grand Theatre is a historic theatre located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and is currently one of that city's major performing arts venues. It has been the home of the Kingston Symphony since 1964. The main theatre seats 776 people, and has a proscenium stage and an orchestra pit. The building also houses a smaller black box theatre, The Baby Grand, which seats 105 people.

Kingston Yacht Club (KYC) is a private yacht club based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The stated objectives of the club are to encourage the building and sailing of yachts, skiffs and canoes; motor boating; rowing; canoeing and all aquatic and other sports among amateurs.

Murney Tower is a Martello tower in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, whose construction dates to January 1846. The Tower was built in response to the Oregon Crisis, which was a tense dispute over the border between British North America and the United States in the 1840s. The tower is one of five components of Kingston's fortifications that defended Kingston Harbour, the Naval Dockyard, military supply depot and the southern entrance of the Rideau Canal. Murney Tower complements the fortifications of Fort Henry, Ontario, Cathcart Tower on Cedar Island, Shoal Tower in the Confederation Basin and Fort Frederick on the grounds of the Royal Military College of Canada. In addition to protecting the harbour and approaches to Kingston, these fortifications were designed to concentrate fire on Gardiners Island; it being the only place to effectively land artillery at the time.

Grant Hall is a landmark on the campus of Queen's University at Kingston in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The building was completed in 1905. It is located on University Avenue, just north of Bader Lane. The building is named in honour of Principal George Monro Grant. It regularly is used as a symbol of the university. Many ceremonial events, plays, and concerts take place in Grant Hall. Classes rarely take place in the hall but due to the large, open space, exams sometimes are scheduled. All university convocation is done in Grant Hall.
